I have worked with Simon now a number times and every time is bloody brilliant! I LOVE working with Simon he is such a lovely man and fantastic photographer!

I love all his quirky concepts and ideas it's a complete breath of fresh air!

He is professional, friendly and easy to work with and trust me you will leave with aching cheeks as he's so witty and funny!

I worked with Simon for the fifth time, each shoot is special because Simons attention to detail and planning is absolutely magnificent. We shot in a underwater tank which I absolutely adored and felt so honoured to do as I know how tricky the logistics can be. Simon was amazing, in fact Simon is amazing! He's funny, intelligent, charming and I really love just chin wagging along with him.

What to say about Simon! SO MUCH FUN! He always makes me smile and our shoots are always super fun and slightly bonkers!! (OK, remove slightly...replace with extremely!) We have worked together lots of times and this time was without exception...this time on April Fools Day!

This shoot was arranged at very short notice on tour, as I had had a cancellation and Simon (aka Grumps!) very kindly stepped in to fill a few hours! We went to a Victorian Bus Shelter that Simon had previously scouted. It was an evening shoot, in a slightly disheveled (rough!) part of town- Simon set up the lights and then went ahead with the shoot on a whim and a prayer!...

All whilst traffic was going past (after rush hour) with cars hooting, slowing down,shouting their appreciation from windows and neighbours curtain twitching and young children looking out of the windows thinking I was some sort of deranged Princess!..It was very entertaining whilst I was stood there in my big ball gown!

We left just in time before it got busy and before Simon got his camera gear nicked! (It was Saturday night!) but not before a group of young teenage school girls stopped by, asked to have a photograph and then were introduced to my helium voice! Then then kindly helped us back to the car with all of the equipment!

A very memorable shoot indeed as always grumps and really looking forward to seeing the results which looked beuatiful on the back of the camera!

Many thankyous to Grumps for having me stay over for the week too (at super short notice!!) Here is to the next mad meeting! :) Xx

I shot with the lovely Simon recently and what another brilliant day we had! We shot for a full day local to me and the weather was absolutely beautiful! Simon is so fun to work alongside, chatty, eccentric (in the best way!) and he is an excellent photographer, always working hard to get the best images. He is courteous and always makes sure that we have lots of breaks and I am well fed!

Highly recommended!

I worked with Simon last week, i have to say apart from the awful weather the company was lovely, he had lots of fun ideas and came well prepared with various outfits and props, the pre shoot coms were very good and he was open to trying new ideas if certain angles/lighting set ups didn't work 100% as orginally thought i would most certainly recommend him, very friendly and very good fun!!

I shot with Simon twice since my last reference and what fun they were! Simon hired out interesting locations in London and we worked through a number of sets. I love love working with Simon as he is such a eccentric, interesting, open and warm character. He has a keen eye for images and Im always impressed with his ideas and creativity.

I wouldn't hesitate to work with him and he comes highly recommended from me :)

Simon is just plain lovely and professional and very very respectful! He is incredibly fun to work with and to be around! The time flies by because you are having so much fun, I don't think I have laughed so much as I did on this shoot!

He is really creative and has some great ideas! Overall Simon is great, if you get a chance to work with him grab it! 200% recommended! Hope to work with Simon again!

I stepped in on the shoot at Pipewell Hall and am really glad I did, it was a great day! Simon always brings such a laugh to the shoot and even though he thinks his requests at mad, they bring a joy to a shoot so that you never have a dull moment with him. This made me want to give my all to help him create those images. Highly recommend working with him and look forward to working again very soon!

It was brilliant working with Simon again, he attended a day I'd organised at Pipewell Hall. He is really funny and invigorating to work with, full of enthusiasm, but also very easy going, always letting me know when to relax out of poses, whilst he refines his lighting and settings. We got some absolutely stunning shots due to him bringing some excellent outfits along that suited the environment so well, adding to his excellent photography & lighting skills. Certainly recommended :-)

OMG what is there to say?!! The shoot with Simon was the BEST!!! It was so wonderful to get to do something new and fun and different.The amount of wonderful and fun props he had bought along was INSANE. This really is the ideal way to shoot for me- zany, creative, colourful, joyful. So so impressed with this guy and wish my job was like this all the time.... highest possible recommendation from me. And we were creating some shots along the waters edge which looked truly beautiful... glorious time shooting cool concepts with my best bird and a lovely sweet photographer....happy happy days...

I worked with the lovely, charming gentleman that is Sitron (Simon, aka GRUMPS to me!) on a recent tour to the area, where Simon very kindly booked an absolutely stunning home, working alongside a lovely lady photographer. I had such an awesome day, in complete awe of the surroundings and really enjoyed myself!

Simon sourced a CRAZY amount of absolutely stunning bespoke gowns to wear for the day which were a total joy to wear and dress up in! He was very kind to run me to the shops for my "rabbit lunch" half way through the day and I had such an enjoyable day working with the small team of mad hatters on set!

The photographs looked beautiful- whacky, quirky and with a story to tell, as always! Simon is such a lovely friend and someone who always makes me smile- I always look forward to our shoots together, knowing fully well that I will go away grinning ear to ear! Thankyou for a lovely memorable (and mad) day! :)

New Upper Mills Studios

I had the absolute pleasure of hosting Simon in the studio this week. A delightful chap with some great ideas. Very easy to get along with, Simon had an excellent rapport with his model and got some great results. Simon is a delight to work with and I would happily welcome him back to the studio. Needless to say, I am more than happy to recommend Simon to any model and other studios. Top bloke!

What a great day! Simon arrived with his friend Natasha and three stunning gowns - unfortunately the weather was against us so we were limited in what we could achieve. Despite this and the long drive, Simon was completely laid-back, and we had a brilliant day together. He even treated us to lunch; such a gentleman! I thoroughly enjoyed the day and really hope to work with Simon again. Recommended.

I worked with Simon again recently at the amazing Talliston House! We had worked here together prior for a few hours and enjoyed it so much that Simon very kindly arranged for his local photography group to shoot there over the course of the day!

Simon put MASSES of effort into arranging the day (blood, sweat and tears! :) ) and was such an incredibly kind host! I really enjoyed working with the group of photographers (most are not currently on Purpleport) who were very respectful, kind and just great fun to work with! Simon is such a kind person and always makes me smile!

Oh man, so many lovely things to say about Simon!

Simon was kind enough to let me stay with him for three nights during my recent tour to Kent!

He also kept me fed and watered during my stay, let me have free roam of the house and we had delightful conversation when I wasn't shooting.

Simon and I managed to squeeze a couple of hours in on the last day of my tour and Simon's eccentric ideas worked like a dream!

I will definitely be returning to Simons lovely home!

I worked with the lovely Simon (Aka "Grumps" to me! :) ) at the stunning Talliston House and gardens recently. Simon very kindly booked the last 3 hours of my studio day there so that I sold out which was really kind (and a great relief so short notice!) We had an amazing time shooting in various themed rooms of the home- and even risked getting into the loft of the home (aka the Tree House!) for the final set of photographs! I was very impressed with Simons flexibility in getting up a steep and unsteady rope ladder- I had vastly underestimated his climbing skills and core strength! ;) A very entertaining shoot as always with a mad, creative, eccentric, kind photographer who is also a lovely friend. I thoroughly enjoyed my utterly bonkers shoot with Simon the other day. He is such a lot of fun to work with, which I remembered from last time - you will NEVER be bored working with this man. Full of interesting anecdotes and stories, and a huge believer in images which have (often slightly bizarre) narratives. I enjoyed letting loose and letting the crazier side of my imagination rule! :-) A shame the co-model ended up in pieces, but there we are... ;-) Thanks Simon! Highly recommended!

Simon and the lovely Em arrived at our Studio on Wednesday in the pouring rain but this didn't dampen their enthusiasm. His eccentricities belied the fact that he created some wonderful images and we would welcome him and Em back here any time.
