I have wanted to work with Silk for ages, as she is one of the "must-shoot" models in Wales. Have to say she did not disappoint. She arrived punctually, and was an absolute joy to work with from start to finish. Utterly professional, whilst at the same time relaxed and charming. The time flew by so quickly and she even stayed an extra thirty minutes to get in additional shots because I had spent an inordinate amount of time trying to untangle a load of fairy lights. From the word go, her posing was spot on and showed just how much experience she has.

Absolutely no hesitation in recommending her, and I have every intention of booking her again.

What a creative creature she is, not only is a very creative and imaginative but she willing to endure cold and discomfort to create the most amazing images. Slip, sliding away. That's how our shoot went today. We achieved so much with lots of input from both of us. That is how a shoot should be. I have been shooting some seriously talented models over the last few weeks.

Silk is a sophisticated, sensual, classically beautiful girl who looks stunning in whatever she is wearing or not..

A warm and friendly model with a tremendous talent. It is not very often that I shoot indoors but I am amazed at what I achieved . Her home lends itself to my type of creativity with lots of higgly piggily nooks and crannies.

So I now have the almost impossible task of choosing a few images to download.

Silk came calling today, and I'm dead chuffed she did too.

Silk is a lovely lady, interpersonally empathic, kind, funny, considerate and smart.

We'd planned to have no plan. We succeeded. Despite having no plan Silk managed to bring the perfect items for the sets we stumbled upon.

Silk looks great, creates lovely shapes with her body and limbs, and emotes wonderfully. Her energy and enthusiasm was great, and if I flagged she'd come up with another item or idea or both. In my mind we had an excellent shoot.

I'd not be too surprised if we found ourselves working together again in the not too distant future, busking it like crazy but with Silk still producing the goods.

Silk is a very talented model, who produces superb work across an amazing range of genres. She also has a very creative eye for spotting artistic opportunities in a shoot.

She possesses that magical quality of being able to pose in harmony with, and as an important part of, any landscape or outdoor scene. It is such a joy to work with such a gifted and hard working artist.

This shoot was a duo shoot with the similarly talented Leaf, and it was a really important one as it took place in Iceland, as part of my principal project on "Re-wilding the Human Spirit", which seeks to show the sense of connection and belonging between we humans and the natural world.

I was thrilled that Silk and Leaf agreed to work together with me on this shoot. Having worked with both models on a duo art nude environment shoot in Wales in May, I knew that both would work tirelessly and creatively whatever the circumstances.

The vagaries of the weather in Iceland, even in mid-summer, require real flexibility in any shoot programme, and our trip was no exception. Our plans had to change frequently and often at very short notice to make the very best of the limited time we had to work in Iceland.

I simply could not have wished for two more flexible and hard working models. Sleep and food were sacrificed without the blink of an eye when the weather forecast turned out to be inaccurate, as it often was, and we had to change plans to grab whatever opportunities presented themselves at whatever time!

Without this very fluid and flexible approach we would have lost a lot of the best light to work with.

Silk and Leaf both worked so hard, brushing off all obstacles and producing such stunning work that from the outset I was very relaxed and reassured that the shoot would be productive and successful.

One of the marks of a true artist is that Freddy Mercury Quality that "the show must go on" (whatever the circumstances) and suffice to say that both times I have had the privilege to work with Silk, she has endured an injury that would have terminated the shoot for many a model; not so Silk - a brief shake down and we were working again within a couple of minutes. I'm hugely impressed with this level of commitment; and honestly I'm not that dangerous to work with! :-)

In summary, I could not fault Silk (or Leaf) in their sheer hard work and determination to produce wonderful work, in challenging conditions. It is a pure joy and a privilege to work with such gifted artists in their chosen fields.

I recommend them very highly to other photographers; working either singly or as a duo it is a wonderful experience as a photographer! Thank you Silk (and Leaf)!

I've now worked twice with Silk alongside Cariad and I've worked with her also on a 1-2-1 basis. Either way of working is simply just a huge pleasure. Every portfolio would be enhanced by Silk and that is why I rate and recommend this young lady so highly. This lady though!! Wow!! Each and every time I work with her she blows my mind away with her natural beauty, enthusiasm and drive to create stunning imagery.

We recently did a duo day at Map and a dup shoot with Riccardo. Silk brings a car load of props and a head full of ideas to each shoot, she does not disappoint.

I have lost count on how many times I have had the privilege of working with her over the years, I look forward to many more too :)

I was lucky enough to have been able to book Silk to model for me twice in June. The first occasion she teamed up with leaf and the pair took me to various outside locations during the day. The second was when she teamed up with Cariad for a studio day at Maps studio. Not only is an absolute model on her own but she is able to join forces and collaborate with other models seamlessly. I can honestly say, the first shoot was brilliant but this time they just blew me out of the water with their sheer intelligence, creativity and inventiveness!

I've just come back from a weekend shooting with Silk in Wales and I am still buzzing from it. I can't tell you how amazing Silk is - she just rocks! I have worked with Silk a few times now and she reminds me a bit of the Duracell bunny - her batteries never seem to run out. Silk will shoot from dawn till dusk, day in day out and keeps amazing energy levels all the way through. Silk is such a creative person as well and does fab make up and hair, she also is so enthusiastic about any ideas thrown at her which this weekend included lying in a rock pool, posing nude in a grotty factory, sticking her head in an old oven, climbing in old ruins, over fences and squeezing into some very small spaces! I love having Silk in my life, I count myself very lucky to know her, she is a beautiful person inside and out and if you get the chance to work with her then I suggest you grab it. You'd be stupid not to. xxxx

My second shoot with Silk was arranged as a home shoot. Although in the past I have been fortunate to work with several great art nude models, I have largely kept my levels to fashion for the last couple of years. But following our first shoot a couple of months ago Silk inspired me to shoot some art nude once again and, boy, did she deliver!

Silk (& Piglet) live in a beautiful stone cottage with the most glorious of views, all of which can be utilised on a home shoot. I was welcomed with a smile and a cup of tea and we had a chat about what we would try and achieve during our half day shoot.

Silk worked tirelessly throughout with boundless energy, pulling pose after pose and once again I came away with more images than I know what to do with!

I'm rather annoyed with myself that nearly 7 years into this I have only just discovered a model who could shoot almost anything, with very reasonable rates, living less than 40 miles from me. I'm amazed that she's not being booked for more shoots to be honest.

Thank you Silk yet again and I can't wait for our next shoot.

This was our second shoot, the first being mid April 2018, both on location in the beautiful countryside of Ceredigion. Each time Silk has been the superb host to me staying overnight after day 1 of our work and on this one we did an extra shoot on the Sunday morning of boudoir.

Silk is exceptional in everything she does.

Scouting locations ahead of the shoot by Silk meant we had 3 great locations to work at: river, abandoned chapel and coastal beach with awesome cliffs.

Silk works tirelessly and with such spirit she energises all around her. Piglet came with us and was having fun throughout, catching pebbles thrown with the left hand to keep him out of shot as an extra.

We did a duo shoot with the life force that is Leaf on the Saturday afternoon into the sunset at 2130 on the coast. It was inspiring to work with such a fluid and professional team. In fact work has never been more delightful for me at least , it was just moments of chuckles and fun thrown into the mix, especially when we had an audience of the beachcomber collecting drift wood in the evening.

Always be you Silk. You are truly amazing.

I cannot thank Silk enough for the whole shoot and look forward to our third shoot hopefully in the autumn colours.

My first shoot with the highly talented and very versatile Silk was a two day art nude location shoot with Leaf, and frankly I would not have hoped for any more hard working, talented and personable models to be working with.

Both models on their own are brave, creative, artistic, hard working and hugely talented. They are also such kind, thoughtful and amiable people to be with. When they work together they spark to wonderful levels of creativity; it really is a privilege to work with them.

I have loved Silk's work for some time. She is such an artistic model who can work very effectively across so many genres that I really do wish that I had worked with her before. Suffice it to say that the next shoot is already booked!

As well as having a lot of of creative talent Silk works tirelessly to get those special shots. She has a wonderful eye for spotting something unusual and special, be it a pose, an angle or a scene.

Watching Silk and Leaf work together is marvellous; they are kindred spirits who respect each other's work, and who work so well together.

Silk's hospitality on my visit was also truly outstanding. I've never been so well fed during a shoot!

In conclusion working with Silk was a very rewarding and productive experience. She is so professional and accomplished in her modelling, but is also very friendly and enjoyable to work with. Working with her and Leaf has been a highlight of my model photography so far, and I am looking forward to working with them both again soon.

What can I say another day with this outstanding model. This time involving a visit to Borth Beach amongst other places. I highly recommend this model.

Looking at Silk's references before shooting and seeing all these wonderful comments made about her and I'm wondering to myself...is she really that good?

As soon as she gets out of the car she hands me a container and tells me it's fudge she's made for me; good start I thought!

Then we begin shooting, pose after pose, changes of outfits, climb a muddy bank here, lie down on wet grass there, nothing getting in the way of the photo I wanted to try and capture.

But it's more than that with Silk; she's just a lovely, warm person that you end up wanting to shoot with more and more. I'm just annoyed with myself that it's taken me nearly seven years to arrange a shoot with her, especially as we live less than 50 miles apart.

Going back to my pre-shoot thought - is she really that good? Simple answer - a resounding yes!
