I booked Marcus for a group shoot in Surrey and I have to say this guy is everything you would want in a model. Great communication, punctual, and loads of enthusiasm for the concept. We had spoken before , but never quite managed to get anything together until now, what a shame it took so long. Marcus turned up with loads of clothing and more props than I did(!), so once we had the lights set up we were ready to go. He was very helpful to all the photographers present, and made sure everyone captured some wonderfully expressive images.

Very highly recommended, and I certainly hope to work with Marcus again in the near future.

I met Marcus at a charity photoshoot and I wanted to work with him because of the various styles, especially gothic smart, that he has tried before. Marcus communicated a lot prior to the shoot so that we could agree the styles we would shoot. On the day he had brought a large wardrobe and it enabled us to pick styles which worked well with the backdrops of the vineyard where we were shooting. The range of colours allowed us to shoot in shade or direct sunshine. I really enjoyed working with Marcus on the day as he is easy to work with as he has some great ideas.

Had another amazing shoot with Marcus at the Charity Group Shoot! :-) we discussed a theme of vampires for a duo shoot between Marcus and KristaM :-) Marcus styled this to perfection and then delivered an incredible character perforce to bring the story to life through the shots! :-) had lots of fun working with Marcus, the shots were awesome and I can't wait to work with Marcus again! :-)

Had an excellent shoot with Marcus yesterday. We briefly discussed ideas before the day, and Marcus brought everything and more we talked about. During the shoot Marcus was friendly, full of energy (Especially impressive in the 30 degree heat) and a joy to work with. This is someone who every photographer needs to work with.

Marcus is a pure artist. I have shot with him on a number of group shoots, the last was at Tinwood Vineyard in Sussex. Marcus has such an effortless style and can work a location in real-time with the very best.

I shot a duo with Marcus and his friend Kate and their interplay was impressive and spontaneous, creating a storyline as quickly as I could point and shoot the camera.

Marcus creates characters with his outfits, expressions, and poses unlike anyone I have met, and it is such a great experience to shoot with him and create memories.

I shot a group event at the weekend emulating the 1980s TV Show Top of the Pops. Marcus played the singer Prince and put in a wonderful characterisation of the character. I've worked regularly with Marcus and he is a joy to work with - always creative and fun and able to turn from being sinister and dark to light and fun with ease. He comes highly recommended by me.

I worked again with Marcus yesterday on a terrific group shoot recreating the era of the chain gangs in the 1930s. Marcus was, as always, perfectly in character for the part and played it with his usual skill. His dark looks make him a wonderful villain! He is a joy to work with and a lot of fun too! Can't wait till we shoot again. I need to think up some suitably "dark" projects! Marcus comes 100% recommended!

I just love working with Marcus, I was so pleased he applied for my casting call.

Today was a socially distanced shoot at a Western town and Marcus was there with his usual large selection of costumes. Marcus is a fantastic actor as well as model so when we have to react with each other to create a scene for the photographers he just throws his self into the character. He is so easy to get along with but also so professional.

Today I worked on a truly wonderful, socially distanced shoot with Marcus who was decked out as a mean-looking Cowboy. We shot in the most stunning location - a film set reproducing a Western Town from the American 1800s. We had simply the most fun I have had in a long time. Marcus looked fabulous and threw himself into the part. He has a unique look and has a big sense of fun too! I totally recommend him and if you get a chance to work with him - you must!

Marcus is so versatile as he can go from a dark villain to a sophisticated groom as well as anything in between of course! He's such a lovely, kind hearted person that really puts his all into his work and therefore he's always such a pleasure to work alongside. I have genuinely lost count of how many times we have worked together he's that fab!! :D

I had a fantastic shoot with Marcus on the weekend. The communication beforehand was great and he was on time.

He brought several variations of an outfit and made suggestions on how they can be used. He understood my directions and would immediately go into the perfect pose that I had in my head making the shoot so easy and uncomplicated.

Even though the shoot overran he wasn't in a hurry to get off and just wanted to get the best images possible.

I would 100% recommend him.

I had the great pleasure of working with Marcus recently where he again proved that he is both a highly versatile model and actor.

He can snap back and forth into different personas and costumes easily and confidently - from an erudite dapper country gentleman, through to sharp hipster, to dark Gothic, to somebody very scary indeed (check out the images of Marcus with Jessica Knight that I will soon be putting up)

He excelled in solo sets and also in duos with four different female models, where he is always careful to harmonise, never to overshadow; he quickly earned the trust of his fellow models that shines out in the excellent resultant images.

Marcus takes direction well, can work to a story line or flow pose as required and is excellent company - I always enjoy the intelligent lively conversations we have over a coffee. I can thus very highly recommend him to photographers and models of all experience levels.

It was wonderful to welcome Marcus to the studio to work with hambers, the studio photographer. Not only is Dark Horse a professional model, who takes directions wonderfully, he is friendly and professional and as a voiceover artist also has a wonderful voice which is now a permanent feature as a welcome announcement at the studio. I can highly recommend Marcus as a great model and we cant wait to shoot with him again.
