Working with Richard is always great. We had our second shoot at the lovely Aura studio in Northampton and it was amazing from start to finish. Richard is a true gentleman and I always feel 100 percent comfortable when we shoot together, which means we can experiment and try new things. The real show stopper was our 'draped in pearls set' where Richard brought a long LOTS of pearl necklaces which he collected in preparation for our shoot. We draped them over my body and got some great concealed shots with the pearls which as you can see on his portfolio, looks amazing. Thank you so much Richard! Can't wait to work with you again next year. 10/10 recommended!

I had my second shoot with Richard this evening and just when I thought it couldn’t top the first shoot we had, it did!

I actually reached out to Richard asking if he would shoot with me again because I was so blown away by our first shoot. I enjoyed every second of this evening! We shot at a beautiful location in Harrogate and just from seeing a few shots off the camera, I know I have an amazing gallery along the way.

Richard is such an absolute quality guy! Professional top tier photographer who knows how to get the best out of each shot.

Lovely Richard came to shoot with me at my studio day at Zavod studio and we instantly hit it off. He brought me two lovely steak bakes (posh ones) so it was off to a great start! As well as being absolutely lovely Richard also happens to be one of the most talented photographers I have had the honour of working with. He did a bum shot for me (tasteful) which i was unsure about as I don’t love my bum but he made it look world class. Anyway, jokes aside all of the images are magnificent. Thank you Richard. Highly recommended. If you get the chance to work with Richard do not hesitate to do so.

When Richard messaged me to ask about a shoot at my location, Basford Hurst Cottage - I was both ridiculously pleased and slightly nervous all at the same time ... If you have seen the incredible quality of his work you'll understand why!!! Of course needless to say I got a shoot booked in very quickly haha!!

All pre comms were great and Richard made everything very easy to organise!! He gave me some great ideas of the sort of thing he wanted to shoot and also was interested to hear any ideas I had. On the day of the shoot Richard arrived on time with everything he needed, including ample snacks (WINNER!). We had a chat over a cuppa and a look around and began shooting. During the shoot we worked through lots of different sets making the most of the beautiful natural light available. Richard pays a lot of attention to the light and really perfecting every image!!! He was happy to let me pose freely but also gave lots of input which I always appreciate!!

Time absolutely flew by with Richard, he's a lot of fun to work with and the banter was brilliant!!! Every time I looked at the back of the camera I was thrilled with the images we were creating and Richard made every effort to ensure I was comfortable and respected.

It goes without saying that I would HIGHLY reccomend Richard, a truly talented photographer and a great person to be around. I can't wait for the next shoot and look forward to seeing him again soon! Thank you Richard!! :D

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Richard booked a shoot here at Basford Hurst Cottage with studio owner Leanne, Miss C. All pre comms with Richard were great and he arrived on time on the day of the shoot full of enthusiasm and ideas for a great shoot ahead!!

During his time here Richard was always respectful of our location and happy to ask if he needed anything during the day. Richard is clearly a very talented photographer and his knowledge of lighting was undisputed from start to finish, he really made the most of every area he shot in.

Richard is polite, friendly and great fun to have around. We would highly reccomend him and look forward to seeing him again soon! Thank you Richard!

I was lucky enough to shoot with Richard today at a beautiful location he had selected. Richard was an absolute pleasure to work with, very welcoming, professional and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire shoot. And as it turns out, he has a great sense of humour too which made the shoot fun!

Richard is a fantastic photographer with tonnes of experience. He puts 110% effort into each shot and also directs models with posing extremely well. It comes as no surprise that the majority of his photos are awarded with FPI’s, they’re very much deserved.

I had an absolutely wonderful shoot with Richard on Friday.

I'd admired his work for ages and was delighted when he contacted me about a month ago. We'd had a good long phone call beforehand to talk through his shooting style and what he was trying to achieve, so I came to the shoot of a really good idea of what to expect.

The shoot itself was a lot of fun (in spite of having to wake up very early and trying to dodge unsuspecting/overly curious tourists). I felt very safe and respected at all times during the shoot and was absolutely delighted what we'd achieved in a relatively short space of time.

I couldn't recommend Richard more and can't wait to shoot with him again. The one photo he's posted already is definitely one of the best in my portfolio! :)

I shot with Richard once again on Sunday evening after he had organised the most beautiful hotel location to shoot at! We shot a variety of art nude including some sheer sets and others focussing on accessorising. Had the most incredible shoot today with Richard. We have worked together now a few times in a variety of settings but this perhaps might be one of our more special shoots. We shot at a very exclusive venue that was absolutely stunning. Richard always ensures that I see BOC images as we go along and never ever pushes me out of my comfort zone. He is friendly, exceedingly talented and has a wonderful sense of humour. From the images I saw, we made some magic Mr!

I am so fortunate that Richard booked me for a second shoot whilst on his travels down south once again! We kept to the art nude/ballet style once again but used completely different locations, indoors and out. It’s always such a pleasure to work with Richard; he’s a fantastic tog with a great many opportunities to be proud of (yet he brags about none) and he is so easy to get along with and time just flies during our shoots together. But not only that, he shoots for such a special cause raising money for Yorkshire Cancer Research, keeping no profit for himself. He has been keeping me forever up to date with his fave BOC images, and considering how much I love them I just know the final edits are going to be phenomenal (as they were from shoot no.1!). Thanks so much once again Rickdog, I already look forward to the next time!

This was my first time having the pleasure of working with Richard during a studio day at The Boardroom, but from the very beginning I knew we were going to create amazing art! His pre shoot communications were excellent, really well thought out, planned and then executed. I received a mood board ahead of the shoot, with ideas of what to bring with me as well as go gain a better understanding of the shoot layout.

When he arrived, he was on time and ready to go. He's incredibly laid back, very easy to chat with and happy to go with the flow - he wants the model to be as relaxed as possible to get the best out of you.

At no point in time did I feel uncomfortable and I was happy to free flow artistic nude without fear of Richard taking images without me being ready - he was incredibly respectful of my levels and a perfect gentleman, turning away whenever I needed to reach my robe, often handing it to me to save me needed to walk anywhere.

His images speak for themselves, he's a fantastic photographer and obviously knows his way around a camera, producing edit after edit of truly amazing calibre.

I wouldn't hesitate to work with Richard again, and look forward to doing so! Highly recommended!

Very inspiring to work with. He doesn't shoot just for the sake of taking any photos, he knows exactly what he wants and achieves it. He's a pro.

After having met with Richard for a coffee and moodboard meeting back in January, it was an absolute pleasure when our shoot date finally came around! I loved every single one of Richards ideas, as well as the fantastic cause for all of his shoots (with all proceeds going to Cancer Research Yorkshire) and so being a part of making all of those pre-comm thoughts come to life was a dream. Richard is a great man, a very talented artist and passionate about what he does, and so I truly hope to work with him again in the near future. I had such a fantastic first shoot with Richard, having been a big fan of his work for a good while!

We had a pretty early start (after a restless night's sleep!) but it was super easy to keep my energy going throughout the day, due to Richard's enthusiasm and passion for what we were shooting. He was such a lovely person to be around and it was effortless to keep a conversation going.

He's very talented at what he does and I love the attention to detail he goes to when tweaking my pose to get the perfect shot. We've got some incredible shots from our day of shooting!
