Had such a great time working with Richard today. To keep it nice and sweet, he is certainly nicest and most comfortable to work with. In space of two hours we have completed plenty of looks, and I am convinced we produced some fantastic images together. Thank you, looking forward to work with you again soon :)

I attended Richard's workshop on shooting and post-processing, where he took you through the whole process from start to finish, setting up the lighting, shooting the model, and then the whole post-processing workflow up to delivering the final image. Richard was very approachable and always happy to take questions. He booked a model and MUA who have contributed to a lot of the images on his portfolio, which speak for themselves in terms of the quality of their work. Really looking forward to some more of these, especially something on shooting with gels on location (hint, hint).

Richard is tops on every level. I had the privilege of being his makeup artist for his Retouch Workshop on 10th March. The model of the day Ella Newport was exceptional to work with, a makeup artists dream for every reason. The course itself ran like clockwork everyone felt they learn something wworthwhile from the day and everyone had plenty of time to get some images they were delighted with :-) Richard himself is hands down my favourite photographer to work with for following reasons . 1. Treats everyone with utmost respect (even the mua). 2.Easy going no stressing 3. Professional at all times. 4. No ego (rare to find this quality) 5.His knowledge and skills, in lighting, camera and photography speak for themselves with every shoot he produces highend outstanding results.

Well where do I start!

I'm very grateful Richard agreed to shoot with me!😊 He's so creative and clever. Secondly, great sense of humour! He is hands down one of the loveliest photographers you'll ever get to shoot with!

From start til finish, Richard made me feel so comfortable & relaxed around him. Throughout the shoot, he kept coming up with brilliant ideas! He really has something unique about his photography, the way he is so relaxed with models and is able to capture the precise moment.

I just can't recommend Richard enough to everyone, he is a master at what he does, mesmirising with his creativity. He's a truly genuine, lovely, joyful person who's an absolute dream to work with and I really hope I get to create with him again!

Richard is a super kind and funny guy to work with!

He comes with all his stuff (it's so much 🙈) He is relaxed and tells u his idea of the shoot and then starts working, there is room for your own input. But most of all it's so fun to work with him!

He is creative in all the good ways he is prepared and knows what he is doing, and all above he makes me laugh!

Already made great plans for next time so.. defiantly going to work with him again!

Dazzled Designs Latex

Richard had a shoot with Katie Miller yesterday and I was fortunate enough to be present at the shoot - so much fun! :)

Katie modelled a few of my outfits (including one of her own designs) and Richard was super creative in how he wanted to photograph the colourful latex, can't wait to see the results!

Richard was brave enough to let me hold his camera and snap some funny bts shots too ;)

Will definitely work with him (again)!

Had an amazing photoshoot at a fairground on Monday- even though it was dark and busy Richard took lots of absolutely fantastic photos in only 45 minutes! It was so much fun and I love the pictures!

Worked with Richard again on a Fantasy inspired Tim Burton shoot with designer Chloe Fox of Vestress. We were creating a dark fantasy theme based on spirits of human beings who turn into creatures when their souls pass on. In this theme we were seen as Moths and Butterflies but with an Evil Queen hell bent on taking our spirits and capturing them to keep her eternally youthful.

I knew after working with him in the past that he was the correct man for this job and i am so pleased that i finally after a year got to work with him again on this. Not only was it an original theme but it was so incredible to connect with Richard again on something so thought provokingly beautiful. I needed a photographer who would understand the feeling and emotion behind such shots and I knew that he would feel and sense it all just as I would when creating the story. Thankfully, he is not just your every day photographer, he is an artist and one who knows his style of work down to a T. There is not one moment with Richard that is not spell bounding and inspiring.

Richard is by far one of the most talented, influential people I have worked with in my time as a model. Working along side him is a true honour and there is no one else on this site that is as humble, genuine and original with his photography style and editing work like he is. Getting the chance to work with him is something never to be missed. You will be utterly breath taken from start to finish with what this guy can bring to the table and even more so with how kind, easy going and friendly he truly is.

Richard is gold in this photography world you not find anyone else quite like him

Got to shoot on a huge collaborative project with Richard, and wouldn't be more impressed. Directed 4 models (myself included) through the entire day's shoot, and was so easy to be around, making everyone feel incredibly comfortable. I first met Richard three years ago when he booked me as a model and we've been friends ever since. I have followed his photography work with great interest and admired his incredible videos from afar. So when the opportunity arose to return the favour and invest in my own brand, I couldn't wait to have a 'Richard Wakefield' video for promotional purposes.

I booked Richard to shoot my latest Walter's Wardrobe event, 'Ruffles & Ready' and to say I was pleased with the results is the understatement of the century. He is without a doubt the finest cinematographer in the land and one of the kindest, most genuine and easy to work with people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. I certainly hope we will be working together again!

I worked with Richard on a 1960s motel inspired fashion shoot in an amazing location. Richard is an incredible photographer with a unique cinematic style. Laid back, approachable and easy to work with, he allowed full freedom with styling. Great pre and post shoot communication and images received in record time! Highly recommended.
