I had my first shoot at PUREPreston yesterday, and I was really impressed! Firstly, Simon was helpful and responsive when I was making the booking, and was friendly and made me feel welcome at the studio on the day. Secondly, the studio itself is an excellent space - loads of natural light and interesting backgrounds / areas to work with, plus strobes and continuous lights if the natural light is not sufficient or not the look you're trying to achieve.

Very reasonably priced, too! All in all, I'd highly recommend making a booking.

I had a shoot yesterday at PurePreston Studio with Angel Price as my model.

I love available light photography and there is lovely light, even on a cold gloomy day that we had. The studio, although a very large area, was warm and comfortable - keeping the model happy!!!!

Shooting in some of the dark corners, we made use of the good range of lights and modifiers and the "accessories" available in the studio suited my style very well.

Simon was inconspicuous but readily available for any assistance that was needed. He is professional and runs his studio very efficiently.

I can recommend Pure Preston to all models and photographers. Indeed I am booked to shoot there again later in the year.

I was invited to the club night at pure studio tonight and it was a brilliant experience. As soon as I entered the studio I felt immediately welcome and comfortable. Another wonderful shoot at PurePreston recently. I just love this studio, it offers everything you could want for a creative, successful shoot. Bags of natural light which offers a soft/dreamy feel for boudoir/portraiture or a crisp/pure edge for some fashion images. There's so many different set ups, I love the corner area with ladder/boxes as this really works for art nude, fashion, lingerie whatever you fancy really. There's also the loft space upstairs which is fantastic for an industrial type background, I recently shot some fitness and dance images up there and they really worked with that backdrop.

Looking forward to returning there soon.

Had a great time at Pure Preston studios. Simon was very helpful with the props and lights.

Great place with plenty of space to move around, large windows all around with plenty of natural light, and added studio lights made it a great studio to work in.

Would definitely go back for future events.

Another superb shoot at PurePreston. This time is was a weekend instead of just one day and we did so well to sell it out in January!

Simon is a fantastic studio owner and is on top of his promotion and knows exactly how to run his studio

It is such a unique space to shoot in with the brick walls, natural light windows, wooden floors and now a boudoir area too.

So many exceptional images taken there that weekend!

i visited the studio for a group shoot and I had the most amazing time and received beautiful photos from all the talented photographers that was there! Lots of the images I received looked unique and quirky due to the different walls/styles pure Preston has to offer! Simon who owns it made me feel so relaxed and even made me a cuppa (always a winner) would 100000% recommend! I had an amazing time

I was invited to the Club night at Pure Studio Preston last night, as this was my first time at the studio and the first time shooting at a club night I didn't know what to expect, as soon as I turned up I was invited in to an amazing space with so much variety to shoot. I instantly felt comfortable here, the photographers that turned up were all of very good quality and experience. I really enjoyed the night and can't wait to shoot here again! Very professional, friendly, would definitely recommend:-)

I shot at Pure Preston studio last Friday and what a cracking set up it is.

There are so many different sets and spaces to use to capture all sorts of shots and work. It is light and airey and Simon is an absolute gent.

From the moment I met Simon he put me at ease he is talkative and really friendly.

We have created some amassing shots and what I like about Simon is he is happy to give any ideas ago and that's how somtimes things amazing just work

I look forward to working with you again and keep up the great work and passion x

I booked the studio to arrange a studio day there, thinking it looked like a fantastic location for shoots, and I was definitely not disappointed.

Simon was really helpful in his pre-shoot communications and helped to make suggestions and market the day. He provided helpful and clear instructions to make my arrival easy.

The studio is really easy to find anyway, my sat-nav took me directly outside the building and there is ample parking and a luggage lift to save us models dragging our heavy cases up the stairs.

The studio has a chic, modern and industrial feel, but can lend itself to soft dreamy natural light images, or hard, edgy fashion work, depending on your choice of lighting and styling. The studio is a fantastic space, a really big open space with lovely industrial beams and pipes, beautiful wooden floors, interesting brickwork, and a range of different areas and lots of interesting props to use. Being on the top floor of an old mill building means the studio gets fantastic natural light pretty much all day, even on our studio day in December, we didn't get the studio lighting out till the last hour or so.

The studio is also surprisingly warm for a large industrial building, which makes it a pleasant place to work.

Simon kept me well dosed up with nice cups of tea, providing the right balance of being around to help out if needed and sitting quietly at his office while we got on.

All the photographers were very pleased with the shoot, as was I, and I hope to come back for another day or two next Springtime.

As a studio space, I will certainly recommend this place.

The studio is such an amazing space, it's great to see a studio with so much natural light opportunity and not only that it has so much space and different sets to work from.

Definitely recommend this wonderful studio to all models and photographers!

I had a shoot with Simon at Pure Preston today and I have always been keen to see his studio. I am so happy I have shot there now and I would highly recommend any models or photographers to use the studio.

It is refreshing to see a studio that offers a natural scene with lots of light and space.

It is a very professional set up,very welcoming and warm and clean. The dressing room is also an ideal size with a good mirror and chair etc

I am happy I have been and I am pretty sure that I will be back again before I move back North

I worked at Pure today, excellent space, brilliant natural light, lots of open space and backdrops. very impressed with the studio and will definatly work there again soon.

First time shooting at PUREPreston Studio last weekend which came about due to a cancellation from a model on a studio day only 48 hours prior.

Luckily I got offered the opportunity and after a quick phone call with Simon it was all arranged...no drama!

The studio actually blew me away. It is such an incredible space with tons of natural light pouring through the big windows, the natural wooden floors add that mill type feel to it. And the sets/walls that Simon has decorated are in keeping with the studio but add that little variety to the natural mill areas.

There's also 2 other rooms available to shoot in, one with a gorgeous darker wood polished floor again with heaps of natural light coming in and an upstairs loft type space with props/machinery for a real industrial feel and something different to the well groomed downstairs space.

So much potential here for fantastic shots, which shows in the images being taken here already.

Simon, the owner was the perfect host, keeping the studio warm and comfortable the whole time and on hand with drinks and even provided me a lunch which I am very grateful for.

I am so pleased I got the chance to work here and we are already in talks about another studio day/weekend in January so watch this space :D

Simon at PURE Preston has a fab studio with bags of space, all round natural light and so many places / corners to capture your imagination.

Simon is down to earth and very professional in how he runs the studio and associated events.

Always seems to have access to stunning models and happy to arrange anything to your requirements.

I don't use many studios.....but this is one I would recommend 100%.

Met Simon on Saturday at one of his studio model days, unfortunately the model let him and the other photographers who were due to attend the studio day down at very short notice, however Simon came up trumps and arranged for the great and very professional model Tillie for the shoot.

Simon is a great friendly guy very approachable and helpful. The studio is large well equipped with various lights, modifiers, reflectors props etc. However, the winning factor for me was the number of windows which allows natural light photography virtually anywhere in the studio.

I’m over a hundred miles away but will be using the studio again, highly recommended.

I used Simon's studio for the second time over the weekend and would have no hesitation in recommending it to either an experienced photographer or someone just starting out in the world of photography. The studio is located on an upper floor of an old mill and is therefore an excellent setting for natural light photography. Light, spacious areas which can be used in many ways.

Just editing the images from a recent fashion show organised and hosted by Simon Rawsthorn of Pure_Preston. The event was a great success as was the previous one I attended last year. I have attended several events organised by Simon, from studio group shoots, location shoots as well as model studio days and fashion shows, all are well organised and Simon is very relaxed and easy to get along with, which always makes for a successful event with amazing photo opportunities. I can highly recommend, both Simon and his fantastic studio.

Another great shoot at pure which is now becoming like my second home lol great natural light tons of room great edgy brickwork and coloured walls and also plenty of room upstairs. Simon the manager is very helpful nice guy leaves you alone to do your own stuff and is never far away if u need anything.
