My second shoot at Pumpkin and everything that I needed was to hand, four strobes already in position and a nice clean studio. Andy who owns the studio was on hand to advise and help with lighting and backdrops yet he never intrudes. Once I was up and running Andy disappeared to his workstation and stayed out of things.

Good value for money and recommended for beginners especially.

Had my very first studio shoot ever and being used to outdoor shoots the idea of using backdrops and controlled lighting was something alien to me, I need not have worried because Andy, Pumpkins owner talked me through everything and set up some initial lighting options which worked a treat.

Without being intrusive Andy made himself available to help me different lighting options and backdrops as the shoot progressed.

The studio is clean and tidy with drinks on hand, plus a changing room for privacy. I would say it has a minimal approach to furniture and other accessories that some photographers may need, for me I loved everything about the place which allowed to concentrate on my subjects rather than being bogged down with too much clutter.

I will use this studio again and would like to thank Andy, a lovely guy for making myself and my two models welcome.

I had a shoot at Pumpkin Studio yesterday with a photographer and another model.

The studio is easy to find, with car parking right next to the entrance. Andy the owner came to meet me to show me up to the srudio, and was really welcoming and professional.

The studio is clean, with changing rooms and refreshments.

I have photographers asking if i know any studios local to me to shoot from and i will be recommending Pumpkin.

Another good shoot at Pumpkin studios. Plenty of strobes and a wide variety of modifiers. We used both the black paper/vinyl background (other colours available!) and the white infinity curve (which is really cool). Plenty of props/chairs etc. around if you need them.

Andy was very helpful with setting up stands, modifiers etc., and retired discretely to his office during shooting.

I have not worked at this studio before but I will be working there again!

The studio is a great place to work - the lighting gear is more than ample and the atmosphere is great.

The guy who runs this studio is a photographer, but not one of those "I know more than you know" photographers - he is helpful, available if required, but out of the way in his office when not required.

The facilities are great - tea and coffee facilities are great, the changing are is very good, the infinity cove is absolutely amazing - all in all, it's a wonderful place to get some great images in a relaxed atmosphere.

I have shot at Pumpkin studios a couple of times now. The studio is quite adaptable with it's infinity wall and various props.

Andy is there to help if needed, or just as happy to leave you to get on with your shoot. Plenty of lights and modifiers for both images and film making the studio great value.

Thanks for accommodating at relatively short notice, it was interesting working with an infinity curve. Andy was helpful and relaxed even though we were late, and let us shoot till the time booked was up, even though his next clients were due any minute. Plenty of light for video, plenty of coffee for breaks, nice studio overall. Recommended.

Had another great shoot @ Pumpkin Studios. The Manager/Owner Andy is very welcoming and engaging. Andy is very willing to help and assist in anyway he can and a pleasure to communicate with. We asked Andy to assist us and be our timekeeper and move us along from one look/theme to another - thank you Andy. Nothing is too much trouble for Andy; he is very professional and a pleasure to be around.

Would also add that the lighting equipment and facilities @ Pumpkin are brilliant and very reliable.

Pumpkin Studios is highly recommended. The studio owner is incredibly helpful and supportive, and this studio is amazingly well equipped. It is possible to achieve a great number of different set-ups in little to no time, and the studio is spacious and of an outstanding standard.

As a regular at Pumpkin Studios over various years I was keen to meet the new owner and can happily say that he's a great chap who is already growing the studio from strength to strength. Pumpkin has always been by 1st choice as its such a superb and all-encompassing studio, but as with anything, it requires a capable and industrious captain to steer it correctly. Well, Andy is all those things and more. In my first meeting with Andy I was treated with respect, politeness and an attitude from Andy that showed he was willing to help, assist and ensure the shoot progressed as planned. Being so impressed by someone on a first meeting is a little rare, but I'm glad to say that with a formula of Andy + Pumpkin I'm now convinced Pumpkin will remain my 1st choice and I'm happy such a nice chap is responsible for such a nice studio that has everything I need. All thoroughly recommended!

Had our 1st shoot at Pumpkin Studios today and we are definitely going to book further shoots there. Manager Mel Matthews made us very welcome and was available to assist us in anyway he could. Very impressed with his professional attitude and easy manner, nothing was too much trouble for him, another reason why we will certainly be using Pumpkin Studios again and again.

The Studio is well equipped with Bowens lights, tungsten and softboxes and a large variety of backdrops - everything you need.

I really enjoyed my first brief shoot at Pumpkin, arranged at very short notice. The studio itself offers something a bit different - a super infinity cove with lots of gels and effects to add extra interest. We were made very welcome, and plan to return soon. Thank you Pumpkin folks.

I have been on several shoots at pumpkin studios with the photographer "moving pixels "

The studio is very homely, spacey, clean and tidy, there is also an infinity cove and a nice "warm" dressing room.

The studio owner is so lovely,down to earth, and so welcoming and helpful.

There are always lots of refreshments too which is nice.

My plan was to use the studio again but unfortunately with moving back north I won't get the chance.

I would definitely recommend this studio to all models and photographers

We had a great fashion shoot at Pumpkin studios. Its a good size, was fully equipped. Quite a few celebrities in Manchester have done shoots there. The studio had lots of props backdrops and lighting . It provided refreshments for the crew. The owner was lovely to talk to! He was friendly and accommodating . We look forward to working with them again! Thank you very much guys.

The Studio is well equipped..some great props....great lights....and an awesome infinity cove....

Mel was on hand if needed but in no way stood over your shoulder...it was such a relaxed place...I will definitely be using the studio again...

had a great shoot today at pumpkin with a brilliant atmosphere so relaxed i was shown around the great numerous lighting and set equipment then left alone to get on with my shoot which for me was good in a way that there was no one stood over my shoulder as you get in some studios but i also had the comfort of knowing that help was there if needed. pumpkin is very clean and tidy plenty of brews and biscuits roomy changing rooms clean toilets. best way i can think of complementing pumpkin studio is to say I WISH I OWNED IT lol lol definately recommend this little gem of a studio.

I've been regularly shooting at Pumpkin for quite a while and I've got to say it has all the gear and facilities that you need, and at a very reasonable price. It is really an undiscovered gem. The owner is a happy friendly chap who will go out of his way to help, whether that be setting the lights, holding smoke/snow/fire machines, or providing the included refreshments.

Very highly reccommended :)
