In a dark place

Not often I add a description to an image but I thought adding one here might answer some questions before they were asked. I wanted to capture something with a Helmut Newton feel so the light was very hard and with little editing, not particularly flattering for the model but this is how I see a lot of Newtons work, very bold strong images. The lights? I left them in the shot to add to the Newton feel, he never seemed to pay too much attention to what was in the background ........ or did he?
