Hi I am Bas, a 60 year old photographer from Bristol.

I have been shooting Macro work for more than 5 years and models for about two years. I try to create a friendly and fun shoot for the models I work with, and so far the shoots have been great fun for all concerned. 

My aims are simple. For  the shoots to be fun, to improve as a photographer, and to create some images of which i can be proud.  My main aim is to bring out the beauty in the people I shoot.

I have a studio setup (in my kitchen), so many of the shoots are held there. I am keen to get into fashion and do some more location work. I love portrait work, so the shoots will pretty well always include some headshots. I do shoot up to nude, my aims are for artistic and glamourous shots. My portfolio shows the levels I shoot, and the type of work I do. 

I have limited time (the day job can be pretty full on) but I now manage two or three shoots a month. I have shoots booked until the end of this year, but may be able to squeeze in the odd shoot, if time and finances allow. Do feel free to message me if you would like to work with me.
