Derek was an absolute delight to work with! He's professional, generous and fun to be around. His studio was well equipped with many different back drops and options. When shooting with him he gave clear instructions and had many good ideas for poses. I really enjoyed my day working with him and can't wait to work with him again! Can't recommend him enough!

Derek was, as before, incredibly easy to work with, great sense of humour, and good at giving clear direction whilst allowing the model to input her own ideas. On Saturday Derek joined myself and Chris Conway on a group shoot we were hosting at Woodbridge studio. Im so pleased he took the time to come and join us as he was a pleasure to model for. He was polite, professional and great fun to. Just what you hope for from a photographer. He worked well among the group and there was plenty of laughs and banter throughout the shoot making it all the more fun. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone and would happily work with him again at any point in the future.

Derek was one of the photographers that attended a group shoot I hosted at Woodbridge Studios with model Amie Boulton last Saturday, and it was an absolute pleasure to have him there.

Although we didn't have a huge amount of time to get to know each other, I'd have no hesitation in recommending him as a photographer to anyone looking to work with him, either on an event like this or on a 1-to-1 basis!

Got to work with Derek for the first time, and I have nothing but nice words to say.

Very friendly and gives good direction as well as letting you pose on your own, also he is open to any ideas you have! Did a gun shoot with another model and I can't wait to see the results!

Derek's home studio was amazing! Has extra props and outfits plus e was so lovely to supply drinks and snacks, some good music too!!

Would highly recommend working with Derek, you won't be disappointed.

I got to work with Derek on our second shoot together - this time at his home studio where we did a gun shoot along with another model.

Derek is very lovely and super chatty, his studio is very well equipped and had lots of cool outfits and accessories in the wardrobe. Derek also brought lots of snacks and drinks!

Really lovely guy who is fun to work with, gives great direction and who is also happy for you to pose on your own. We got some great shots and I can't wait to see the results.

Definitely recommended.

Had a fantastic shoot with Derek today. Really lovely and generous guy, who really appreciates the people he is working with. He instantly put me at ease and made me feel comfortable and the shoot was very easy and fun the whole way through. I had organised props for the shoot and he asked me throughout what kind of shots I wanted and what props to use when which I really appreciated. He also let me have free reign with costumes. His studio is very impressive and well equipped and he even provided snacks and drinks. I especially appreciated the extra touches of offering to help me carry things and giving me lifts which made the shoot so much easier for me. Thanks Derek I am very grateful and look forward to working with you again and seeing the pics from today!

I had a lovely shoot with Derek las week on my recent mini tour down South.

After a false start on Thursday due to Storm Doris and my train getting cancelled Derek kindly re scheduled for the following day when I was able to travel.

Dereks communication was spot on and he arrived on time and collected me at the station.

Derek had sourced a beautiful dress for me to wear and also found a fabulous location that was very atmospheric.

Once we arrived we lost the light very quickly but this didn't deter Derek and he quickly adapted the lighting to capture some beautiful images.

After our location shoot we travelled to Dereks home studio. The studio is really lovely in a beautiful garden setting, warm and modern it even has a pool and hottub lots of different lighting set ups and tons of costumes and props, a perfect place to shoot! We did some really cool lighting shots and rounded up the night with Derek treating me to a amazing Steak meal at a local country pub.

As well as being a talented photographer Derek is a lovely person. We were never short of conversation and the shoot simply flew by.

Highly recommended and I would love to work with Derek again.

Had such a great shoot today with Derek-he organised a great MUA, amazing props and outfits and just a generally really well planned set of ideas. He has a fantastic wardrobe to choose from too. In addition to this, Derek is one of the most lovely people you will ever meet, polite,good fun and makes you feel right at home - and provides jaffa cakes so what more needs to be said! Really great photographer and pretty confident there's gonna be some cool shots out of this! Can't wait to work with him again

Yesterday I had a fantastic shoot with Derek.

He's an amazing photographer who knows what he wants. He dressed me up in most beautiful dress I've ever seen. He teached me few tricks and poses, great directions,provided MUA which was lovely.

I'm really looking forward to see pictures and can't recommend Derek enough.

I hope we will have a chance to work again in future.

Models, if you have an opportunity to shoot with Derek, go for it! It will be one of the best experiences you ever had!

Had the chance to shoot with Derek at a group shoot and I glad I did, he's a great character and made me feel at ease straight away even though I was shooting in a dungeon ;) The images on the back of the camera looked amazing so cannot wait to see them when they come out! Would definitely work with Derek again in the future and would 100% recommend him to any models looking to shoot!

I think it's 3 times I have shot with Derick now and Derick is a very humorous guy and loves to have a laugh. But don't be fooled by his joking around as Derick is a master at photography.

We had the pleasure of Derick's company yesterday at a fashion and ultraviolet shoot we organised. Derick is a very talented photographer who knows how to get and create great images. Derick is very humorous too.

Had a shoot with this lovely guy today and by god he's a laugh a minute, found myself chuckling away even though it was bitterly cold out. We shot Tudor at Hever Castle and got some stunning shots, I was thrilled he wanted to shoot my beautiful gowns and in such an ideal setting. He picked me up from my home at the exact agreed time and drove us to the castle to shoot. We took awhile to find spots that were shaded from the harsh winds but he was such a lamb and carried my boxes for me, got me a lovely hot chocolate and laced my gowns too. I found him to be a very sweet and caring man who appreciates the time and effort you put into the shoot, even though he didn't like my little fur stole 😉 We had a good natter about creative aspirations and I hope I shall shoot it's him again, possibly in warmer weather.
