I had the pleasure of working with Derek on a collaborative project with mashup designs, Alx photography and some beautiful models and another mua. I had the pleasure of doing makeup for and modelling for Derek. His studio is fantastic and would recommend hiring the space as its excellent with lots of options even available in house. As a photographer he was professional and fun to shoot with. Would happily recommend

Another beautiful evening shooting with Derek (second shoot). I love visiting this photographer because he lets me go wild with the creative side of the shoots and we bounce ideas and get on a treat. Kareoke was in full swing and the jacuzzi was even brought into the images (much to my glee). He's incredibly hospitable, respectful and looks after his models very well. I also find him a genuine person to talk to. The time flew by! Creating our concepts was a dream in his amazing studio and the lighting was working perfectly. I can't wait to see what he does with our amazing images and we're already talking about the next shoot. I fully recommend him to all models.

I worked with Derek at a charity group shoot after my original photographer for the first slot of the day didn't turn up due to illness Derek very kindly stepped in and worked with me instead, he brought along a massive blue skirt and did a few cool shots with that and then also did a few hippy style shots as that's what I originally had planned for that slot.

Derek is a lovely guy, very professional and knows exactly what shots he wants to get but also allowed me to pose freely throughout. I would highly recommend and already looking forward to hopefully working with again in the future. Thanks again!! :D

I had a shoot with Derek at the Brownbread Horse Rescue Charity shoot on Sunday. What can I say, he is kind and reassuring throughout the shoot. I had such a good time with Derek and I would 100% recommend him.

I look forward to seeing the proofs, as well as the finished images. I hope one day to work with him again.

Second shoot with Derek on Saturday. He spotted a large fallen tree with dried moss in the woods in Normandy, and decided it was time to shoot there, before it will probably get removed. So a bit of tree hugging was needed! He had some great ideas of shooting me in gowns, and hopefully we got some nice shots around the sun light and shadows. Thanks for such a fun Saturday afternoon.

I had my second shoot with Derek, this time on location, and once again it was a pleasure.

The location he had found was impressive with lots of opportunities for different concepts and we managed to get through quite a range of ideas in a short time. Derek was very conscious of my comfort throughout and welcomed my creative input as well as having plenty of ideas of his own. I can't wait to see the finished images.

Once again, very happy to recommend Derek and I hope to be working with him again soon.

Really enjoyed my first shoot with Derek at his home studio yesterday. What made it most enjoyable was his clear visions coming to life in the images, and his relaxed and fun way of working. I had my first shoot with Derek yesterday despite the snow. He picked me up on time and we headed to his beautiful studio near Guildford. We managed to fit multiple very different concepts into our short shoot and Derek had both clear ideas of what he wanted to achieve as well and welcoming my input.

We even managed to fit in some quick outdoor nude sets despite the below freezing temperature! Derek was always very conscious of my well being, keeping these sets short, interspersed with studio sets to warm up, and spoiling me with tea in the Jacuzzi when we finished!

I hope to work with him again in the near future and would happily recommend both him and his studio :)

I had my first shoot with Derek yesterday and I found him a very likeable chap with a good sense of humour, a kind personality and a fun approach to photographing. His shoot wardrobe is absolutely phenomenal and he is very hospitable, with refreshment and a lovely hot studio and warm ups in the car during location shoots in the winter. As well as being able to direct, he's also a great listener when it comes to throwing ideas his way, which makes for an exciting creative mashup of brain goodness. His dog is also adorable. I would shoot with Derek again for sure. I had a great evening!

I had my first shoot with Derek today. Pre-comms were excellent leading up to and on the day. He was very accommodating and understanding when I arrived late to the shoot due to awful traffic and immediately put me at ease once I arrived.

Throughout the day he was polite, professional and pleasure to work with. He has a beautiful studio to work from with an exciting array of costumes and props.

It was wonderful to work with him and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thank you!

I finally had a shoot with Derek on Sunday after initially making contact with each other some time ago & it was well worth waiting for.We arrived at his lovely well equipped studio where it was set up with lots of beautiful costumes and props.I was very excited about this shoot as although we had discussed ideas & Derek had sent pics of various outfits he had for us to use we didn't really finalise what I was going to wear.As it was we did two different themes which I`m really looking forward to seeing the results of and the help of Kirsty looking after my hair & make-up really was a bonus.Derek is an incredibly talented photographer,easy to get along with and chatty while also very professional.. thanks Pirbright Photography for a fantastic shoot x

Derek asked me to shoot as he needed me for a specific concept. I am primarily a photographer but greatly enjoyed modelling for Derek. Very calm, knows what he wants and gives clear direction. I might just have to try modelling again .

Regrettably a much shorter shoot than I would have liked. I really friendly and chatty Guy and we got some good shots showcasing texture and distance in the short time that we had. I hope we can get a lot more time next time to work on lots of good ideas

Derek is a pleasure to work with. We had three shoots in the day and they were varied, exciting and a lot of fun to shoot. Derek was fully prepared with some complex and innovative set ups, and the shoots were completed all too quickly. I thoroughly recommend him.
