My first time shooting with Alan the other day, He was a pleasure to work with! Very lovely to chat to and knew what he wanted to get from the pictures, he was great at directing both myself for makeup and the model, he was very professional and came with a very positive attitude, the photos looked fab from the back of the camera so I’m very excited to see the final images! Alan was great with coming up with ideas and we even moved outside to shoot in the street for some night time shots, Alan was very creative and brought a relaxed vibe to the shoot, would definitely recommend Alan as a photographer and would love to work with him again ☺️

Alan and I arranged a wonderful shoot in an AirBnB that he'd hired not far from where I lived. His pre shoot communications were great. He was very clear with what he wanted to shoot and sent me some images from my wardrobe over so I could pack accordingly.

When I arrived, Alan was kind and professional throughout, offering me some refreshments upon arrival and showing me to my room to change.

Conversation easily flowed and we got through a variety of sets. Alan used his lighting equipment throughout and his improvement in photography is clear to see - he's come a long way! The back of camera shots looked phenomenal and the following day when I saw some edits they looked even better!

I'd highly recommend Alan and look forward to working with gim in the future.

I had my first shoot with lovely Alan at long last, the wait was worth it.

Alan’s communication before the shoot were great we exchanged ideas and I knew what to expect. The place Alan picked for the shoot was simply amazing, beautiful.

Alan was warm and welcoming, we had lots to talk about and the conversation just flowed.

Alan knew the images that he wanted and gave good direction, he showed me the images on the back of the camera and they looked amazing.

I would highly recommend working with Alan, he is professional, creative and a really lovely person.

He gave some great suggestions for ideas was open to trying new and different things. We got loads of variety with the shots he had taken with many different great looks and themes, I really loved the images!

Had a fabulous shoot with Alan recently, at his temporary studio space in Devon - such a cool rustic area, in beautiful surroundings. We started with some gorgeous natural light portraits, gelled shapes and sunlight, outdoor witchy nudes, so many awesome images!

Alan is a lovely soul, artistic, great vision & company, very respectful - would highly recommend to all models.

Another lush shoot with Alan! I was really pleased when he messaged me to book in again, after a great memory of our last shoot, when he was fresh to model photography. I'm SO impressed with his progress in such a short amount of time, I could see so much change in the process of he shot me compared to last time, and absolutely thrilled with the shots we got together.

Precomms were excellent, and the shoot went really well. He had recently acquired a new studio space, and welcomed comments from me on how to maximise the usage of the space. We managed to squeeze plenty of looks and outfits into this session and from seeing the back of camera shots, I am so happy with the results!

He's a true professional and so friendly and easy to work with, we had a lovely chat while shooting, putting the world to right :) I would definitely recommend him, and be delighted to work with him again in the future. Thank you!

I am very happy with my second shoot with Alan ,it went really well 🤩I was very honoured to know I am the first model whom Alan shot with at his new studio and we had some much fun. Alan is a pleasure to shoot with, he is an easy-going and respectful photographer,who is very passionate and dedicated to photography. Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Alan attended a recent workshop run by Owen Lloyd and Nicole Rayner.

It's always a pleasure to have Alan at Basford, he's a wonderful photographer and full of creativity. He made sure to listen to Owen throughout the day and was respectful of the location, the model and of the other photographers.

Alan has already posted some exceptional images from the shoot and we look forward to welcoming him back to Basford soon!! Thanks Alan!!

Alan shot at the studio today for the first time, with experienced local model Melanie Bond.

Sadly I was unavailable, but my trustees Paul and John opened and closed up respectively for Alan and Mel. Paul made himself scarce once Alan was comfortable with all the lights etc. and ready to shoot, but enjoyed chatting with them both prior to this and the same goes for John once their shoot was finished for the day. From my trustee's perspective, they couldn't have asked for more, everyone was on time, friendly, respectful of the studio and it's props, and left it in the state they found it.

Hopefully Alan got some great shots and enjoyed his time at the studio with Mel. I certainly would have no qualms letting Alan use the studio again.

My second shoot with Alan.

This time a studio shoot at J9 Studios. Alan arrived early to the shoot and was well prepared. He was friendly to the hosts and also to myself.

Our second shoot went really well. We both can shoot ideas fairly quick and worked through our concepts that we had discussed prior to the shoot. We had some extra time at the end and we shot more lingerie and experimented with the sheer fabric they had at the studio that drapes down.

Alan was relaxed like our last shoot, easy to chat to and get on with. He regularly showed me back of camera as we discussed the sets we shot. Alan put music on and we had a good time throughout.

I used lots of the photos from our hotel boudoir shoot last time on my portfolio and I can't wait to see the results from our second shoot together :)

Many Thanks Alan, definitely recommended. Hopefully our paths will cross again in the future x

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Alan came back to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with Ashleigh Rae on her sold out studio day.

Pre comms with Alan were great, everything was organised easily and he arrived on time with everything he needed for the shoot.

Alan is a really nice guy and worked well with Ashleigh throughout their time together. He clearly loves photography and brought lots of ideas to the day. Importantly Alan was respectful of our location and made sure to ask if he needed anything.

I would have no hesitation to recommend Alan and I hope to see him again soon!! Thank you Alan!!

I am very happy with my shoot with Alan,it went really great. Despite it was an early morning Alan immediately put everything on ease and our shoot went smoothly and in the best possible way. Alan’s pre-communication was on spot and we quickly discussed all the details and were all ready to shoot. Alan is a pleasure to shoot with,he shoots in a relaxed way,is very friendly,polite and respectful photographer. We tried different outdoor locations in London,taking advantage London streets were almost empty so shots looks amazing straight out of the camera. Alan is a very talented photographer and he has a great photography vision which is prominent.

On Friday I had my first photoshoot with Pox. We meet at my place to shoot in a duo with my partner who’s not an experienced model but he had lots of fun. My second shoot with the lovely Alan, during a recent trip to Derby. Everything was arranged last-minute but Alan's pre-comms and relaxed attitude made it all very easy, and we ended up having a really fun shoot. I had my tame rigger RoperRevolver in tow and Alan was happy to experiment with some shibari images, and the results I've seen so far are really beautiful! It was a pleasure to collaborate with them both on ideas and the time just flew by. I hope our paths cross again and I'm happy to recommend him to others.
