I had the absolute pleasure of working with Alan on Monday Morning at a beautiful location in Wales which he very kindly travelled to for our shoot. Communication all throughout the process was professional and consistent, he showed up on time for the shoot (in fact he was there before me) Together we came up with ideas of what we wanted, Alan hasn't been shooting models that long, but quite honestly the quality and professionalism of Alan's work is quite awesome - I would think he's been doing this for many years. Thanks to the very kind people in the industry who have helped guide him, his work in my opinion is beautiful and I would work with him again no hesitation! A lovely respectful person with an amazing eye for photography.

I had SUCH an awesome shoot with Alan, in the sunny climes of Braughton Burrows and its dunes - we shot in the evening light, dramatic colours in the wind, emotive nudes in the sand, soft portraits amongst the beautiful blue flowers of the hills, even got a few lovely moments in the camper van. The pictures are AMAZING.

Alan is a very awesome human, creative, respectful, great company, relaxed, happy to chat, show the back of the camera, and very artistic. I’d definitely highly recommend to all models!

The Apex Studio (Telford)

Phox Photography has attended Apex studio a number of times now.

He recently booked the studio for a 1 to 1 shoot with model ashleigh Rae & yet again had some great concepts & ideas & the images looked fab on the back of the camera.

He also attended a recent workshop with LEnza. He always arrives on time, gets on well with his model & the rest of the group.

Highly recommended & we look forward to seeinh him again soon.

Alan applied for my casting call today and I was so pleased that he did!!

Pre comms with Alan were great!! We organised to shoot at Basford Hurst Cottage that evening. Alan arrived on time and we briefly discussed a few ideas after a look around but wasted no time to start shooting!!

Although Alan has not been shooting models for long (by his own admission) .. he has really taken on board what he has learnt from every shoot in such a short space of time. If I didn't know any better I would've thought I was shooting with a pro! He pays so much attention to detail and the back of the camera looked incredible!!!

Alan is above all polite, easy to talk to and completely respectful.

I am so excited to see the finished images and I would love to shoot with Alan again soon!! Highly recommended!! Thank you so much Alan!!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Alan came to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with Miss C after applying to a last minute casting call.

Pre comms with Alan were great and the shoot was confirmed - Alan arrived on time, brimming with ideas and ready to shoot!

Alan looked after our location throughout the shoot - He was completely respectful of Miss C and was friendly to have around!

Alan is welcome back to Basford any time and I hope to see him again soon!! Thanks Alan!

Had my second shoot with Alan and hopefully we get to work together again soon.

Pre shoot communications were great. We did an urban “street” shoot with some graffiti and then got some lifestyle shots in a hotel lobby. The 2 hours flew by and we got some great images.

Alan is a delight to work with. He is super kind and friendly. Always a gentleman.

Highly recommended.

Had such an awesome shoot on the beach in Devon recently with Phox, shooting a mix of cool movement shots, colourful fashion, duo shots with partner, and some cool moments on a surf board - when I managed to stay upright! The pictures are gorgeous!

Phox is excellent, good company, friendly, creative and relaxed - would recommend to all models. He’s a fabulous dude!

It was lovely to meet Phox Photography yesterday. I was truly blown away by his take on the location I lead him to.

His technical ability to get it all right in camera was magical to see and really made me feel confident again.

He's a friendly chap to get along with, gentle and polite but also good for a laugh.

I'd highly recommend Phox and I'm glad he made the jump from landscapes to models.

I had the most fabulous shoot at my home with Phox - what a lovely person he is and I felt very lucky that he took the journey to my home in Somerset.

Shooting from my home is as much of a learning experience for me as it gives me the opportunity to think like a photographer in terms of lighting and location spots which look fab. One areas that I hadn’t considered which Phox spotted was the medieval church in the village - it’s really beautiful and the porch in particular was a really gem of a place to shoot. We also shot from my home doing some lovely lifestyle shoots and the beautiful woods in thurlbear and the fab yellow rape fields!!! So much variety and Phox nailed every set!!! I really have loved the results of the shoot and I think he is a very talented photographer.

I honestly had such a lovely day we got on so so well and I feel that it’s just the start of a fab professional relationship - we have so much more I would love to shoot with him!!

Phox is such a talent and I really think that would work well with any model and he comes highly recommended- thank you so much for working with me and I hope to shoot again soon :)

Alan and I had our first shoot together last week. Originally half location and half hotel boudoir, but due to heavy rain, we ended up shooting portraits and boudoir in the pub Alan was staying.

Alan was welcoming and open about himself, the shoot was at a slow and relaxed pace. Alan didn't rush the shots, he set them up well and I was really impressed with the high standard of images we created.

Throughout the shoot Alan and I captured different looks and poses. A real asset to the room was the bay window, which had lots of natural light, we focused alot of shots there and on the bed. Alan was open to my ideas and to showed me back of camera throughout the shoot.

Alan was completely professional during the shoot. He gave me the bathroom as my domain to change and was completely respectful to me at all times.

The shots created from a shoot are really strong especially as we had never met, and were shooting hotel boudoir which is quite an intimate setting. I found Alan was a down to earth and a very chilled photographer to shoot with, so the images have come out well as I was also relaxed.

I would definitely recommend shooting with Alan, his photography skills are high and I'm surprised by the quality of his work that he is new to model photography.

Decent guy, would definitely recommend and I hope to shoot with Alan again.

Phox and I arranged a shoot in my home studio and from start to finish his pre shoot communications were excellent, well thought out, properly planned and then well executed as well. He sent me a very detailed list of sets and outfits that he'd like to use which really helps in my planning process.

He arrived on time and after a hot drink and a look around the shoot areas, we got straight into it. Despite being new to model photography, although not photography in general, Phox is learning phenomenally fast. He's got such a sharp eye and is very happy to listen to advice and absolutely takes it on board. The back of camera shots were ace, and when I woke up the following morning I'd already received some images to look over, they're truly stunning!

Phox is polite and professional, and also friendly and relaxed so our 4 hour shoot went by very relaxed and easy, really capturing the very best we could. His equipment is also extremely impressive, bringing a 1.2 aperture lens to our shoot which was from 4-8pm meaning he could really make the best use of the fading natural light. He's a very cool photographer to work with and I'd happily work with him in the future, thankyou for a fab shoot!

Despite the rather dire weather, and a quick reshuffle of locations, I had such an awesome shoot with Phox recently - he managed to secure a beautiful hotel setting for shoot, and we sped through a few natural light portraits, gorgeous monochrome boudoir, and some expressive nudes. The pictures are beautiful!

Phox is friendly, funny, full of brilliant wee stories, easy going and artistic - would highly recommend to all models!

Comms were great & he turned up on time. We had a great chat throughout the shoot & I really loved his concept.

Although relatively new to photography Phox had plenty of ideas & creativity.

He worked really well with his model & they produced some great images from each set & it was great to see the concept develop throughout the shoot.

I helped with some lighting & even made a small gobo for one of the sets, which was fun to try out on this shoot.

He was a pleasure to work with & welcome back to the studio anytime. Highly recommended to all models & studios.
