References for Phox Photography

JIX Studios

Alan shot at the studio today for the first time, with experienced local model Melanie Bond.

Sadly I was unavailable, but my trustees Paul and John opened and closed up respectively for Alan and Mel. Paul made himself scarce once Alan was comfortable with all the lights etc. and ready to shoot, but enjoyed chatting with them both prior to this and the same goes for John once their shoot was finished for the day. From my trustee's perspective, they couldn't have asked for more, everyone was on time, friendly, respectful of the studio and it's props, and left it in the state they found it.

Hopefully Alan got some great shots and enjoyed his time at the studio with Mel. I certainly would have no qualms letting Alan use the studio again.

My second shoot with Alan.

This time a studio shoot at J9 Studios. Alan arrived early to the shoot and was well prepared. He was friendly to the hosts and also to myself.

Our second shoot went really well. We both can shoot ideas fairly quick and worked through our concepts that we had discussed prior to the shoot. We had some extra time at the end and we shot more lingerie and experimented with the sheer fabric they had at the studio that drapes down.

Alan was relaxed like our last shoot, easy to chat to and get on with. He regularly showed me back of camera as we discussed the sets we shot. Alan put music on and we had a good time throughout.

I used lots of the photos from our hotel boudoir shoot last time on my portfolio and I can't wait to see the results from our second shoot together :)

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Alan came back to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with Ashleigh Rae on her sold out studio day.

Pre comms with Alan were great, everything was organised easily and he arrived on time with everything he needed for the shoot.

Alan is a really nice guy and worked well with Ashleigh throughout their time together. He clearly loves photography and brought lots of ideas to the day. Importantly Alan was respectful of our location and made sure to ask if he needed anything.

I would have no hesitation to recommend Alan and I hope to see him again soon!! Thank you Alan!!

I am very happy with my shoot with Alan,it went really great. Despite it was an early morning Alan immediately put everything on ease and our shoot went smoothly and in the best possible way. Alan’s pre-communication was on spot and we quickly discussed all the details and were all ready to shoot. Alan is a pleasure to shoot with,he shoots in a relaxed way,is very friendly,polite and respectful photographer. We tried different outdoor locations in London,taking advantage London streets were almost empty so shots looks amazing straight out of the camera. Alan is a very talented photographer and he has a great photography vision which is prominent.

On Friday I had my first photoshoot with Pox. We meet at my place to shoot in a duo with my partner who’s not an experienced model but he had lots of fun. Alan brought lights with him and some cool fashion outfits. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him, it was a great experience and I would be happy to work with him again. Thanks for a wonderful time!

My second shoot with the lovely Alan, during a recent trip to Derby. Everything was arranged last-minute but Alan's pre-comms and relaxed attitude made it all very easy, and we ended up having a really fun shoot. I had my tame rigger RoperRevolver in tow and Alan was happy to experiment with some shibari images, and the results I've seen so far are really beautiful! It was a pleasure to collaborate with them both on ideas and the time just flew by. I hope our paths cross again and I'm happy to recommend him to others.

It was so lovely to spend time once again with Phox. What a lovely time we had at the beautiful stately home he had chosen. It had this amazing mixture of old and new - which was so interesting and such a cool place to shoot. Phox is such a great photographer- knows what he wants from a shoot - always kind and considerate and I must say that I am so thrilled with the results of the shoot - he really has exceeded my expectations with the quality of photographs and i can’t wait for my next chance to shoot with him again - I hope it will be soon :)

Just finished a short home shoot with Alan after he kindly drove quite a distance to me. Alan is still quite new to model photography and seems very keen to progress more through working with others within the industry, a fabulous way to learn and this will help develop his own shooting style the more he works with various people. However, to say he is new it is obvious to see through his current work he is very talented. The level and quality of images he is producing already at this early stage is very high, an unusual thing to come across. God knows what he will end up producing in a years time, but he is certainly one to watch. Overall, Alan is a very relaxed and chatty fella, very laid back and didn't seemed phased at all by the surroundings he had just come into, although a short shoot it was a pleasant first experience. A lovely guy and would happily work with again. Many thanks

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Alan on Monday Morning at a beautiful location in Wales which he very kindly travelled to for our shoot. Communication all throughout the process was professional and consistent, he showed up on time for the shoot (in fact he was there before me) Together we came up with ideas of what we wanted, Alan hasn't been shooting models that long, but quite honestly the quality and professionalism of Alan's work is quite awesome - I would think he's been doing this for many years. Thanks to the very kind people in the industry who have helped guide him, his work in my opinion is beautiful and I would work with him again no hesitation! A lovely respectful person with an amazing eye for photography.

I had SUCH an awesome shoot with Alan, in the sunny climes of Braughton Burrows and its dunes - we shot in the evening light, dramatic colours in the wind, emotive nudes in the sand, soft portraits amongst the beautiful blue flowers of the hills, even got a few lovely moments in the camper van. The pictures are AMAZING.

Alan is a very awesome human, creative, respectful, great company, relaxed, happy to chat, show the back of the camera, and very artistic. I’d definitely highly recommend to all models!

The Apex Studio (Telford)

Phox Photography has attended Apex studio a number of times now.

He recently booked the studio for a 1 to 1 shoot with model ashleigh Rae & yet again had some great concepts & ideas & the images looked fab on the back of the camera.

He also attended a recent workshop with LEnza. He always arrives on time, gets on well with his model & the rest of the group.

Highly recommended & we look forward to seeinh him again soon.

Alan applied for my casting call today and I was so pleased that he did!!

Pre comms with Alan were great!! We organised to shoot at Basford Hurst Cottage that evening. Alan arrived on time and we briefly discussed a few ideas after a look around but wasted no time to start shooting!!

Although Alan has not been shooting models for long (by his own admission) .. he has really taken on board what he has learnt from every shoot in such a short space of time. If I didn't know any better I would've thought I was shooting with a pro! He pays so much attention to detail and the back of the camera looked incredible!!!

Alan is above all polite, easy to talk to and completely respectful.

Pre comms with Alan were great and the shoot was confirmed - Alan arrived on time, brimming with ideas and ready to shoot!

Alan looked after our location throughout the shoot - He was completely respectful of Miss C and was friendly to have around!
