A great event and my second year with the amazing Photography Holidays Abroad at Albufeira Algarve Portugal. The event is always well planned by Martin supported by Siobhan and has been consistent over the years.

Amazing locations starting with the beach shoot on day 1 including the sunset shoot. The subsequent days include well scouted locations in the old town area, derelict house and the villa. The villa this time was big with spacious rooms and a beautiful pool. We had an amazing and experienced models this time and the energy was very good and great vibes. I even had an opportunity to stay an additional week just to chill out with a small group. The evenings are great with some tasty dinners at lovely restaurants on certain days in the Albufeira main strip.

Overall it was a great and a memorable event for me and I had some amazing images with all the models. Well done Martin and Photography Holidays Abroad and thank you so much for the opportunity. I have even booked myself for next year as well.100% recommended for anyone who would like to join.

I have had the ABSOLUTE HONOUR in being a part of the Photography Holidays since day 1, and can honestly say I have enjoyed every single moment! From helping to plan it with Martin, scouting and getting to know the models each year, to seeing many returning photographers and many new photographers every year! I just wish it didn't have to end each time! This year was amazing as always, I brought my usual 60kg worth of clothing, shoes and accessories... A girl can never have too many bikinis haha. Martin ensures all of us models are well looked after during the trip, and the organisation is just top tier from the shoots, the locations, the timings, even down to the restaurants we eat at in the evenings. I cannot wait to continue assisting and modelling on these trips, bring on next year! PS ... we only have a handful of spaces left for next year so do not miss out! Come and join the Algarve family :)

I am honoured that I was invited on this trip to be one of the models. I went on the trip the year before to get a feeling of what it's like to be a model and did some behind the scenes for the trip, this helped getting to know some of the returning photographers.

This year I took the plunge to become one of the models on the trip and what an honour it was. I loved every second on the trip and would return in a heartbeat. Martin makes sure that all models know each other before the trip making sure we are all comfortable throughout the trip and to make the trip like a little family, and it is definitely like a family I never knew I wanted.

The amount of clothes I brought on the trip, I thought I had too much (you can never have too much) but there was so much time to shoot in a lot of different outfits.

Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of this family and for enabling me to spread my modelling wings on such an amazing trip. Would love to come back and show you what I've got, I would recommend getting on this trip if you haven't already, it's definitely worth while! 😊

What an awesome trip hosted by Martin this year. He ensured all the models were looked after and had an enjoyable time. I loved every minute of the trip - making it both professional and enjoyable at the same time! He is very easy going, down to earth and a gentleman.

I was honoured to be part of the 2023 trip and made friends and memories I will not forget. I would highly recommend working with Martin and going on one of his trips in the future.

Wow! Had an amazing modelling trip with photography holidays :) the event organiser Martin Newton is such a lovely person. He is professional, considerate, kind and extremely helpful throughout the whole trip. Very organised trip. I have met some friends for life :) photographers who attended the trip had great images too. Flights, accommodation, transfers and groceries were all included I am such a happy model :D thank you so much Photpgraphy Holidays for booking me for your trip I had so much fun!!! Would only need two words to express what I think of Photography Holidays -

SIMPLY AWESOME!

Hence why I and others have already booked again. The set up works. The models, who also enjoy themselves, photographers, all blend so well together. The tried and tested set up works. The multi million £ villas are spacious, organisation works well to groceries and beers ready to go.

Martin and team make it all happen. In fact everyone helps out, keeping things moving along, with a common aim of making the trip enjoyable for all,

The Models, don't forget the models..... Well yet again another 'ensemble' of beautiful, talented, amazing ladies. Genuinely all very nice, no prima donnas, all working well together. Which must be daunting even when it is their first time on a international shoot / set up. Martin and team make them feel comfortable, cared for, respected and relaxed.

Hence why the photographers get such great shots. As the camaraderie of all, mutual respect, makes these trips flow so well.

I've still not worked out who's drinking all the beer...?

I was fortunate to be able to join for a few days this years wonderful time at the villa with the crew and what a blast it was. As always a fantastic bunch of people - Martin and Siobhan managed it perfectly and both the models and the photographers uber friendly.

The villa was spacious with a 24x7 kitchen available and the sleeping accommodation was great. For shooting the pool and rest of the villa was available at set times and provided many shoot varieties and unique opportunities. In addition the selection of local restaurants and the socialising was top rate.

Very highly recommended and i aim to go for longer next year

My second trip with Martin and the team and it was a blast!

These events are awalsy well thought out and an amazing line up of models to work with make them the envey of other trips.

You dont just get a message but even a phone call before the trip to make sure all is ok and if you have any questions, from everything from pick up and drop off at the airport all things inbetween are taken care of.

A stunning villa to stay and relax in sets the vibe for the trip, filled with genuine and like minded people making it fun and chilled.

Each day is thought out so to be a different location to maxamise the varitey of images even where you will dine to again give you varitey.

Martin and his team will do everything they can to make your experience enjoyable so that you can focus on having fun and creating some stunning images.

Highly recommend the trip wither your a seasoned photographer or a beginner you will have a great time and create amazing images and memories with friends!!

I was a last minute attendee of this years Photography Holidays program and so glad i was able to make it for a few days. As ever Martin puts on a great package - fantastic villa, models and photographers with a varied agenda in terms of where to shoot and the go out forz some socialising in the evenings.

This year i was thrilled to also take some corsets with me for the models to wear and was so humbled by how much everyone enjoyed them - which was a great sign of how friendly an sporting everyone is.

Looking forward to joining the gang in 2024 too

2nd Algarve trip with Martin and his team. Very enjoyable and fun trip and nice to see a few new faces and old. About 18 of us bouncing about in a massive villa with pool, balconies and many areas for shooting swimwear, lingerie, fashion, etc. Near the town and beach and several outdoor locations so everything on hand and we ate and drank together at the end of each day. Just a laid back and fun affair in the sun with lots of laughs and good banter. Martin works hard to ensure everyone feels involved and all that's needed is there. What's impressed me most is the quality of models this attracts. Some beautiful and friendly girls who know how to address the camera and also how to have fun after sun sets. Martin's also a decent, friendly guy whose company I enjoy and is easy to get along with. I thoroughly recommend these trips.

I cannot count the number of years I have been with Martin on the Photography Holidays Abroad Portugal Adventure. Amazingly organised and a fun trip with a fantastic line-up of models. 2023 was no exception with seven fantastic models joining us, all with their individual styles. The villa was amazing and the other photographers who joined us all worked together as a great big creative team.

Martin puts in hundreds of hours and has scouted all the locations prior to our visit. Martin is on hand to help with any photography questions but if he’s not available you are surrounded by a very willing group of photographers who will share knowledge. It is great in the evenings and the quieter times between your allocated shoot times to see the variety of images from different photographers. Everyones varied levels and specialities make it a great learning environment.

Such a great range of shoots arranged for each day of the trip usually finishing with some gastronomic adventure in the local cafes and restaurants and the famous steak night visit to our favourite steakhouse towards the end of the week.

This is one photography holiday I’d greatly recommend to anyone who’s passionate about model photography and would like to shoot in a place that is nearly always beautiful weather. At least in 2023 we didn’t have the thunderstorm!

After being asked by photography holidays abroad to join their Portugal trip I was really excited for the opportunity to work with lots of other photographers and models that I wouldn’t usually get the chance to and to shoot in sunny Portugal.

Everything was taken care of from flights and transfers and accommodation which was amazing , we had really beautiful locations to shoot in each day with an easy schedule to follow and the results were great.

The whole experience was beautiful the people were lovely we were all taken care of so well and it was nice to make some great friendships and connections with the other models and photographers

WOW is all I can say! Myself and the other models were looked after from start to finish- Martin is such a great host, epic photographer and a genuine great guy! We had so much fun on this trip. Well, let’s just say I am a part of the fixtures and fittings of these amazing trips now… Martin CANNOT get rid of me :)

I have been a part of the Photography Holidays from the very start, and I have the honour of assisting in the organisation and running of the trip, to have Martin put that trust in me feels amazing.

This years Portugal trip was just like every other… fun, full of laughter, making friends for life, amazing shoot locations, awesome image results! I cannot wait to receive images from all of the photographers who joined us for the week :)

Martin ensures the week in Portugal runs smoothly, and that everyone leaves happy.

Locations are pre scouted, Martin is always there to lend a helping hand to all photographers on the trip too! He wants everyone to leave with amazing results!

I always feel comfortable and safe on these trips, And I cannot recommend them enough to models and photographers!

We have the dates in the diary for next year, with 50% of photographer spaces already filled! Speaks for itself really!

I attended the Algarve Photography Holiday and this was

I met lots of talented models and photographers, learned a lot of new tricks and got some AMAZING shots out of it.

The days were well set out, there was a decent high level plan of the days which ensured that we were able to get a diverse range of shots. Martin’s experience also showed when choosing where to go to shoot (and also where to eat!).

The people were all welcoming and we were all taken care of. It was also great to have some downtime to enjoy the villa and being in Portugal.

I’m glad I came and I recommend this to any photographers who want to get out with a camera and get some stunning shots with a group of talented people.

I have been on many of the trips run by Martin, maybe even saying I am part of the fixture and fittings, I love coming to his events for the chance to work with some new models and some old friends as well as photographers from different parts of the country.

The events are well organised but like anything there are the odd hiccup but that is what makes the trips interesting.

Locations are great, everyone helps each other and a thoroughly enjoyable experience had every time :)

Wow ! What a week I had with the photography holidays abroad workshop in Algarve Portugal. Great arrangements and very well organised. Great work by Martin 👏🙌. He ensured that every person (photographers and models) had a great time and also achieved the objectives and images they wanted to shoot. Each day was planned meticulously and each photographer got ample time with every model to get fantastic images. We also had great fun in our off time. Each person contributed and was helping each other. It felt like a family. Martin was also helpful in offering some guidance and tips for each location.
