After being asked by photography holidays abroad to join their Portugal trip I was really excited for the opportunity to work with lots of other photographers and models that I wouldn’t usually get the chance to and to shoot in sunny Portugal.

Everything was taken care of from flights and transfers and accommodation which was amazing , we had really beautiful locations to shoot in each day with an easy schedule to follow and the results were great.

The whole experience was beautiful the people were lovely we were all taken care of so well and it was nice to make some great friendships and connections with the other models and photographers

I was lucky enough to be asked on the 2023 event in Portugal.

WOW is all I can say! Myself and the other models were looked after from start to finish- Martin is such a great host, epic photographer and a genuine great guy! We had so much fun on this trip. Not only did we all come away with some absolutely awesome images to share, we made some great friends and lots of amazing memories! Thank you so much for inviting me along Martin! Well, let’s just say I am a part of the fixtures and fittings of these amazing trips now… Martin CANNOT get rid of me :)

I have been a part of the Photography Holidays from the very start, and I have the honour of assisting in the organisation and running of the trip, to have Martin put that trust in me feels amazing.

This years Portugal trip was just like every other… fun, full of laughter, making friends for life, amazing shoot locations, awesome image results! I cannot wait to receive images from all of the photographers who joined us for the week :)

Martin ensures the week in Portugal runs smoothly, and that everyone leaves happy.

Locations are pre scouted, Martin is always there to lend a helping hand to all photographers on the trip too! He wants everyone to leave with amazing results!

I always feel comfortable and safe on these trips, And I cannot recommend them enough to models and photographers!

We have the dates in the diary for next year, with 50% of photographer spaces already filled! Speaks for itself really!

Sorry Martin … you will never be rid of me :)

I attended the Algarve Photography Holiday and this was

I met lots of talented models and photographers, learned a lot of new tricks and got some AMAZING shots out of it.

The days were well set out, there was a decent high level plan of the days which ensured that we were able to get a diverse range of shots. Martin’s experience also showed when choosing where to go to shoot (and also where to eat!).

The people were all welcoming and we were all taken care of. It was also great to have some downtime to enjoy the villa and being in Portugal.

I’m glad I came and I recommend this to any photographers who want to get out with a camera and get some stunning shots with a group of talented people.

I have been on many of the trips run by Martin, maybe even saying I am part of the fixture and fittings, I love coming to his events for the chance to work with some new models and some old friends as well as photographers from different parts of the country.

The events are well organised but like anything there are the odd hiccup but that is what makes the trips interesting.

Locations are great, everyone helps each other and a thoroughly enjoyable experience had every time :)

Wow ! What a week I had with the photography holidays abroad workshop in Algarve Portugal. Great arrangements and very well organised. Great work by Martin 👏🙌. He ensured that every person (photographers and models) had a great time and also achieved the objectives and images they wanted to shoot. Each day was planned meticulously and each photographer got ample time with every model to get fantastic images. We also had great fun in our off time. Each person contributed and was helping each other. It felt like a family. Martin was also helpful in offering some guidance and tips for each location. I enjoyed my time and I’m also going again next year. Thank you very much Martin ☺️ absolutely recommend joining photography holidays abroad anytime☺️

I had a great week away with Algarve Photography Holidays, Martin and his team put together the complete package.

Martin makes sure to look after you and that you are enjoying yourself both with shoots and socially and is always happy to answer the odd question or two (of which I had a few hahahaha inside joke)

Was really impressed with the planning of locations, lots of variety and well scouted and the villa we were staying in was amazing and very spacious.

Met lots of talented creatives (models and photographers) on this trip and was fab to be able to chat away with like-minded people. A great trip whether you're just starting out or a veteran you will get loads from this, so you should check it out!!

You only need to look at the amazing images everyone came away with from this years Algarve trip to know what a brilliant success it was. Martin put on an amazing week helped bu pebbles with the girls & guys all joining in and having a great time.

The pre-travel arrangements were first class using private groups so everyone could ask questions, then the villa itself was large and spacious with a fab pool. Finally everyone mucked in with the trips to the beaches and other shooting locations, mostly working together in small groups ahead of the evening nights out in local restaurants,

I learned a heck of a lot there thanks to everyone about photography and on top of that the networking was an amazing plus. If you enjoy being part of a group whilst still being able to show your own flair, helping out and bantering with anybody this is the photography holiday for you - I cant wait to return next year.

Photography Holidays abroad, Martin, is an amazing opportunity for model photographers to shoot in a warm country with amazing models. Every year, of which I've now attended five, only missing two for covid. Each year brings a new selection of high quality models with various shooting styles.

The holidays are well planned and you are blessed with staying in a luxury multi million euro villa. There's a great emphasis on not only getting the opportunity to shoot amazing images of fantastic models in a warm and nearly always sunny location, but also to have fun. The 2022 trip was especially memorable as the group of photographers that were brought together worked as a team not only shooting but with the villa life, which makes for a pleasant holiday

I'm again planning to join Martin again next year and look forward to the new photography adventures with a great set of photographers and stunning models. Roll on September 2023, definitely the best shoots of the year.

I was contacted by Photography Holidays 10 days before a planned group trip to Algarve in Portugal. I was delighted to be invited, after another model sadly couldn’t make it.

Within 2 days of being contacted, they had my flights booked and everything planned. I couldn’t believe how lucky I was!

During the whole duration of the trip, I enjoyed the shoots and different locations. The photographers were fantastic too. The trip was well planned out, ensuring all models and photographers had a chance to work with one another in all locations. We also went to some really lovely places to eat, and had relaxed evenings too.

Highly recommend models and photographers to join on the next trip if they have the chance to!!! Thank you for having me!

I attended a full day location shoot organised by Martyn yesterday. The communication before hand was just the right amount. We all knew the meeting places with the choice to meet up for breakfast before hand & stay for an evening meal if we wanted. It was going to be a long day. The weather at times was challenging but Martyn was on hand with any help needed. The location was not the easiest to get to but Martyn had allowed a lot of time for this & gave help to any of us older ones that needed it, also to be fare all this had been communicated to us before hand so no one went into this without knowing what they were letting themselves in for.

What an excellent day. Two perfect models. Just the right amount of freedom & control on us photographers & yes it was a challenge to get there but just WOW what a location. I highly recommend Martyn’s photo-days well worth it. I would, will be going on them again. Thank you, until the next time, & there will be a next time, don’t forget us cos we sure as hell will not forget you. (That quote will hopefully not be lost on everyone)

I decide to go on this year’s Photography holidays abroad event in the Algarve organized by Martin Newton. It was my first time on the trip and I think it was one of the best decisions I have made in many a year.

The 6 models that travelled from the UK were absolutely fantastic, the shoot locations were all well thought out and worked really well and the transport and flights were arranged well in advance. The 14 bedroomed private multi million pound villa where we all stayed was superb.

Martin and Siobhan were always available to help out in the event of any problems but the event ran very smoothly throughout the week.

To sum up it was a very memorable week and one that I will definitely repeat in the future so I have no hesitation in recommending it to all photographers who want something amazing and different in their portfolio.

I had the honour of being invited to attend this year’s Algarve Photography Holiday and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The trip was very well organised from the start to finish thanks to Martin and Siobhan. The amount of work that they put to this trip is incredible! Everyone was really well looked after, the locations and plans for shoots were really amazing!

During the trip we shot on the beach and stayed till the evening to get a sunset shot, we had a day at the villa where the areas for shooting are endless! We had an amazing shoot in town and at the derelict building. Each location was very well scouted, and everyone knew what to expect from each day.

I cannot describe how amazing this trip was. I have met amazing people on this trip and I am really grateful for this opportunity.

I highly recommend this trip to all photographers and models!

Photography Holidays, why would you not?!

I have the absolute pleasure of being a regular model on Martins Photography Holidays, What more could a girl ask for?!

Martin is an amazing organiser, he makes all models feel comfortable and happy prior, to and during the trip, and even after the trip.

Martin sets up a group for everyone to be in so we can share ideas and our excitement leading up to the week of shooting.

From when you arrive at the airport Martin arranges transport for you all to get to the villa, he greets you with smiles and a fridge full of beverages and a BBQ.

The week is so well organised, Martin scouts the locations ahead of the trip, each day is planned out, from start times, even to transport being organised to and from locations. Of course we all want to go and create amazing images, but we want to have some fun too! When you attend our Algarve trip, you become a part of the family! We enjoy our time in the sun, we go out for food together and socialise! Which is what I love about this trip, it’s not all business.

I cannot wait to receive all my images, so I can share them all with you!

Thank you so much again for inviting me back every year! I absolute enjoy my time with you all and my bags are permanently packed and ready!

I have known martin now, for about 5 years, and every year, he as been trying to get me to go onto this trip, and every year i have had other commitments. This year, i decided to go, and i am glad that i did. Martin has organised this right down to the letter T.

From the time you arrive at Faro airport, transport is laid on , to take you to the Villa, which i must say is astounding. Chill relax and have a BBQ, meet the Girls and other photographers.

The next 4 days of shooting, Martin as scouted the best places to go, where you can be really creative, and create fantastic images.

We also went to some stunning restaurants, where the food was out of this world, again, martin as sourced this all out.

The partying we did was great, even under Covid19.

I like to say Thank you Martin and Siobhan , for a great trip, and i WILL be coming on the next one. In my diary already !

I had the absolute honour of being asked to attend this year's Algarve Photography Holiday. It was one of the best experiences I've had modelling so far!

The amount of precise planning that Martin and Siobhan put into each trip is incredible - they plan everything with ease, and even when the occasional thing didn't quite go to plan (as is inevitable in 2020, it would seem), they stayed calm, sorted it without fuss, and made sure everyone there could remain as positive as possible in the circumstances.

From shooting on the beach, in the villa, in the old town, and in a derelict building (and more shooting here and there if we had any other ideas ourselves!) the organisation was top notch. I felt so well looked after and the experience was amazing. I'm so so glad that I had the chance to go, and to meet and spend the week with some honestly incredible people.

Photographers - If you're considering booking next year's event, just go for it - you will not be disappointed!

Models wanting to build your portfolios - you're in safe hands!

I was very privileged to be asked to go on 2020 algarve trip. Between Martin and siobhan all the planning put into this trip had clearly been well thought about! Before the trip they organised ways for models to meet eachother before hand weather that be on zoom calls or shopping trips to go ape! Also creating a WhatsApp group so that we could all chat and be excited about the holiday shoot together.

During this trip we shot on the beach into sunset! A day in the villa with endless stunning spots to shoot. Then to the old town with quirky little streets, buildings and doorways ect. Then comes my personal favourite the the derelict shoot. If you’d like to know about this then BOOK BOOK BOOK!!

So in my stay in the algarve not only did I manage to get amazing shots but also met amazing people! From shooting to living and drinking with these people for the time there what a laugh we had! Through my whole time there I felt welcomed and safe! We was all very looked after at all times!

Thank yous for giving me this opportunity and honestly to anyone humming and arrring. GO FOR IT!! X

I have had the delightful pleasure of attending Martins photography holiday trip in Portugal for the 4th time. Each year is great meeting and working with some outstanding models and photographers.

Hopefully I will get the chance to return for the 5th time and do it all again.

When I was asked if I wanted to return for the second time I was over the moon! This trip has brought out so much confidence in my modeling and also in meeting new people. Unfortunately, coronavirus couldn't have come at the worst time and the trip was under so much pressure of even going ahead but thankfully it did and Martin and Sioban always stayed positive and also did a great job of keeping the rest of us positive. When the trip finally arrived we got to the villa I was on a high, I let my hair down and just made the most of the first day. Everyone was very excited and got on really well. The whole week was extremely well organised and despite there being some minor hiccups, Sioban and Martin stayed calm and handled it professionally. The photographers that came were all great and I got some amazing images from all of them.

Before we came, Martin and the models had all met up previously which I think is a fantastic idea as it breaks the ice. We all got on well and even shared outfits with each other and took some BTS for each other.

As well as shooting we also had plenty of downtime to let our hair down and relax from a day of shooting.

I would highly recommend this trip to new or experienced models as you'll meet lots of new people and make good memories.
