Another amazing shoot at Pete's and as always, I'd return whenever you wanted me.

The studio is warm, without unlimited drinks, there is a separate room for models to change in and parking outside if you drive :) Pete also does put models up for the night if needed, I have stayed there while touring. Don't leave it too long next time.xX

I've shot at Pete's studio before but this was my first studio day. Petes studio is an ideal set up with a separate room for changing and bathroom. The studio is clean,tidy and lovely and warm.

Highly recommend Pete's place for shoots as you will be guaranteed a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere to shoot in also Pete is such an amazing host.

Look forward to another studio day and some amazing Stew.

Ive used Petes place a few times now, Pete himself is a total gentleman, always on hand to help when needed and provides refreshments!

The space itself is simple but it does the job and you can shoot headshots 3/4 and full length.

Recommended to all visiting Carlisle!

What a pleasant and fantastic visit/shoot I had a Petes Place in Carlisle yesterday.

Peter the owner is a fantastic host. Truly wonderful.

I shot with a Scottish photographer there and Peter made sure the day was running smoothly.

I love visiting Carlisle and have already made my plans for my next visit.

I worked and stayed over and worked at Pete's place in Carlisle the 12th - 13th May 2018 and what a great little studio/home it is!

Pete himself is incredibly accommodating: comfy bed, great food, awesome communication, and a fab shower!

The Studio is small but come fully equipped with plenty of lights, lots of props, different back ground and a lot of natural light too!

I truly hope that I am invited back again. Do not miss out if you are given this opportunity!

What a real discovery this place is, it had all the equipment I required for the shoot. Pete was on hand to give me some invaluable information on how to use the equipment which certainly enhanced my pictures.

The first time I have worked in a studio set up and it was delightful, and yes Peter supplied us with refreshments which were much appreciated!

Can definitely see me using Pete's place again, and would not hesitate recommending it to models and photographers of all levels.

I had a shoot at Pete's Place with tjbphotography yesterday. I really had fun shooting here. Great little studio! Totally relaxed and Peter was such a great host! He gave us a hand to set up everything up as we were both newbies and made sure we had refreshments and snacks.

Really lovely guy and hopefully will be back in the future.

What a real pleasure to finally be shooting at Pete's Place!

Technically, the studio had everything I could possibly want and loads more besides, with the addition of a quality vinyl black backdrop, perfect for low-key work.

Peter was very kind and helpful, making me so welcome that I didn't want to leave! Technical assistance was on hand if req'd, but Peter allows you the peace and space to shoot without interruption and even made us tea and biscuits! A great little shoot space that would put many bigger studios to shame, run by the loveliest chap you ever did meet. Thank you so much Peter, what a superb morning you gave us!

I've been meaning to shoot with Peter for a while at his studio and I can honestly say it was worth the wait. Peter was the perfect host throughout and it's been great for him to see me grow as a model. Pete is a perfect Host. Cooked Soup and Stew for my breaks ready for me to eat. Helped the Photographers with Lighting if required and checked all was ok.

Pete has props that he said I was welcome to use also.

The Studio was lovely and warm and Pete made sure I was comfortable at all times.

Love staying with Pete, always Warm and Welcoming.

Would recommend both Pete and the Studio to all.

Pete's Place is a really lovely little place to stop and shoot - I have done so a few times now, my most recent visit being on my summer Scotland tour this year (on my way back down the country!) It's really wonderful that, in an area of the UK which doesn't have that much activity in the way of photo shoots, Pete will create a really lovely community-like welcome feel for models and photographers wanting to shoot in Carlisle.

The studio has really impressive facilities when you take into account it's cosiness... Pete has utilised the space so well and it functions beautifully with proper backdrops/lighting. Even natural light if you want it! I had two shoots this time: one with Pete himself (see reference for "amcamman") and another with a photographer who had booked independently - both were made wonderful by the fantastic hospitality of Pete for a tremendous end to an action-packed tour. :D There's refreshments getting prepared upon arrival, private space for the models to change/create their floordrobe and just good vibes totally! Pete will give a hand with anything if needed but otherwise leave you to it and I've had some really nice imagery taken of me here. :)

What's really handy as well is the ability to stay onsite if you're working at the studio/with Pete. He kindly offered me accommodation for, the third time now I believe? I've lost track! But it's so handy for a model on tour, I cannot stress that enough, and it's a safe/comfortable environment where you don't have to worry about rushing to the studio the next day when your shoots are booked in. Pete is a really lovely guy, lovely company and always uber respectful/will go out of his way for anyone. He's such a genuinely nice guy and I love getting the chance to work at the studio when I can. :)

Pete's studio was perfect for my shoot, with plenty of lighting options for a small studio! The studio has a black backdrop that can rolled down to switch from white and the white walls can be blacked out quickly.

There is a separate area for models to change and Pete was very welcoming - the perfect host!

Fantabulous little studio!!!!!! :D

I have worked with Pete himself before but this was the first time we had shot at his place - so upon planning my journey up to the Glasgow area we decided to set up a shoot since another photographer had also booked me at his studio.

My shoot with Paul (who also booked me on the same day) went so smoothly with the help of the studio. The lights and backdrops provided were perfect for us to get a range of different shots - Pete had refreshments on the go at all times and was on-hand to need if required but left us to shoot as well so to build up a good 1 to 1 creative flow. There is space/changing facilities in a room next door for models comfort and somewhere to have your suitcase so it doesn't get in the way, It's a fabulous space that is very well kitted out and Peter has done a terrific job of making it work well for other models and photographers that book. :)

I also did a shoot later in the day with Pete and we had just as much joy with so many epic images to come from the shoot. It was really impressive just how easy it was to introduce different props as well for something a little different. I hope to make it back in August as well on the way North to my next Scotland tour - a brilliant half-way point for models with safe accommodation onsite, wonderful amenities and Peter really has a heart of gold.

Pete is a star ⭐️ I love working with Pete.

Creates a really relaxed, professional and friendly shooting environment and is really easy to talk to. Pete is a great friend after shooting years ago and I love catching up.

Nothing is ever too much trouble and even let me crash over to do more shoots on my tour.

Had a shoot at Pete's Place the other day with Kitty Quinzell, and it's a great little place. Everything you need is on site, so there's no messing about. Just need your camera, plug in a trigger and your good to go! Pete is such a lovely bloke as well, was really nice to meet him and he makes you feel reet at home. No problem getting full length shots on a 24-70mm and plenty of lighting mods if you need them. Highly recommend this place, and definitely a god-send for Carlisle! Well done Pete! (Y)
