References for Pete's Place Studio Carlisle

Had a brilliant day over at Petes Place.

Starting with a shoot with a Scottish Photographer John, then finally getting to work with another Model Megan, a shoot with Pete himself and then a nice one with a Geordie photographer.

Petes Place is a fantastic gem of a place that is ideally located for touring models and for photographers from all over the north (and Scotland of course) to come and use.

He is a fantastic host and it is always a treat coming here. Loved it as usual.

so i returned to peters studio just a week after our shoot and what can i say, it was just as good as the first time. Time went so quickly and it was so relaxed and peter always makes me feel welcome and comfortable. we worked on a few sets from lingerie upto and including nude. Got some great shots.

I love the studio and the relaxed atmosphere of his home. Peter is always respectful towards models and photographers. I had another shoot with another photographer the day after and peter respected our space and brought us some refreshments which was lovely. Always gives good advice too. Peter also let me stay over as i had driven over, he is such a gent and i now see him a ver y good friend. I always look forward to my images from him as i love his work and lets me have input into our shoots which is lovely. Can't wait to shoot again in 3 weeks time. Always a pleasure to be around and work with. Thank you again lovely. lou.xx

Peter really went out of his way to help set up the studio just the way I love it for low-key work.

Peter is just so generous with his knowledge, always on hand if required but always letting you do your own thing.

Can't wait to return to Pete's Place and have a proper chin-wag with the lovliest studio owner around. Thank you Peter!

Another fantastic shoot over at Petes Place where I was welcomed once again with open arms.

I shot there with 3 different photographers in 1 day last Saturday and it was such a pleasure.

Pete as I’ve always said looks after his visitors to the studio. Always a cuppa on hand and any help you need.

He is the perfect host.

His studio is well equipped. We used the gels on this visit.

What can I say except from Pete is an amazing host and I love coming to his fab little studio in Carlisle.

Two shoots in 2 weeks with the tremendous help and support of Pete, provided me with a great opportunity to shoot with some top models.

Despite having been a while since I'd last been, Pete was as cheery and welcoming as ever, affording us more than full use of all his equipment, offering advice when required and letting us shoot in peace without interruption.

Pete is an absolute gent and goes out of his way to help provide everything we could want.

A great stop off point for models touring the North West and you couldn't be in safer hands with Pete ensuring all facilities are immediately to hand. A very highly recommended experience. Can't fault it all, really first class. Thanks again Pete, see you soon I hope!

Even after a bit of confusion we still managed to get a decent shoot done. You are always so welcoming with endless drinks and nibbles, the heating was on and we worked at a nice steady pace....I can hardly call it work.

Such a genuine, sound chap and I would work with you over and over again without hesitation. The conversation flowed easily and I always feel totally at ease throughout.

I had a shoot with a lovely young model called Zoe who is not yet on PP, it was her first shoot so she was nervous about things Pete made us all feel welcome and relaxed about shooting in his studio.

There are some props available like a mirror, bar stool chair and so on, Pete doesn’t make any profit from renting out his studio, all he asks is to leave the place as you find it, and the tea and biscuits come with the studio now you can’t ask for more than that.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pete’s Place to anyone, a great place to shoot, and great hospitality.

As always, the Studio was Clean, Warm, Tidy and Useable upon arrival.

The Kettle was Boiled and the Coffee flowed.

Pete is one of the most Genuine, Hospitable, Kind Hearted Photographers I know and I always look forward to working there :D

Belle Noire aka Black Beauty

Yet again I was booked to visit my lovelies in Carlisle. Organising the shoot was MORE than easy with the delightful Peter kindly organising me other shoots at the studio while I was in the area.

As soon as I arrived the kettle was on which was perfect after a 2 hour 45 minute drive. There are always nibbles and drinks available. There is a changing area for the models. These chaps are so friendly and genuine. The moment you walk through the door, you are totally at ease.

As soon as you guys want me, I'll be back!!!!

I recently had the pleasure of shooting at Pete’s studio and what a great time.

My day started badly with a delay to my train but Pete was very accommodating and picked me up at the new arrival time.

This was my first actual studio shoot and I couldn’t have asked for better. The right amount of space for what I wanted to achieve, great selection of equipment and a very convivial host! Refreshments supplied when needed and even transport back to station when finished!

If you get the chance to shoot here, you will have a great, relaxed shoot and I recommend highly. Looking forward to the next time!

Had a fab time shooting at Pete's studio. Peter is always accommodating with refreshments even provided transport after the shoot. There' a large section of lighting right to outfits and accessories. I have shot handful of times at Pete's studio will continue in the near future.

Another great afternoon up in Carlisle at Petes Place where I had the pleasure of working with a photographer I hadn't worked with before who booked me to shoot at this studio.

And of course with that studio being Petes Place I jumped at the chance of accepting the booking as I love a journey up to see Peter himself and catch up.

Every model and photographer who enter this studio are always fully looked after by Peter. Nothing is too much trouble and he is a really great host.

I worked mostly against the black today and the images are great. So as always only positives from me again.
