I first met Mike a week ago when he and another photographer booked me for a photoshoot at Far Forest Studio.

Mike was a delight to work with; he was welcoming and chatty and we had such a lovely and productive time. Mike was kind enough to share back of cam shots with me and they were so lovely (I did a happy dance haha)

I’d recommend Mike to anyone and I hope we get the chance to work together again.

This was my second time working with Mike and again a fabulous shoot. Mike booked me in Birmingham city centre with a fellow photographer Kevin for a 4hr shoot in a studio not far from the train station.

Mike is simply lovely to work with-Kind, easy going, professional and full of ideas.

I look forward to more shoots with Mike and I am happy to recommend him to other models on this site.

Cariad Celis

I recently had a lovely shoot with Mike at Map studios. We have worked together briefly before on a group shoot so it was lovely to have some 1-2-1 time to explore some creative ideas in portrait fashion themes. Mike was trusting enough to allow me to do my own makeup for a variety of sets and wahh I think we smashed it! I love the images that I seen on the back of the camera :)

Mike was looking to get images for competition so had a good idea in his mind of what he wanted to achieve with our time. He has good knowledge of lighting and portrait work with a creative flare on sets. He gives good guidance to make sure we got what we needed before a change over.

Mike was polite, friendly and a true gent throughout our time, I do hope I get another chance to work with this fantastic gentleman again. Thank you for a lovely afternoon :)

The Old Chapel Studio - CLOSED

It was lovely to welcome Mike to the studio for his slot with Carla Monaco. He is a true gent and very easy to chat with. Mike arrived in good time and worked well with Carla. Definitely recommended

Mike has been to the the studio a few times now, and all I can say is that is has always been a pleasure to have him around.

His recent shoot with Rebecca Perry and another photographer went very well. Pre-comms with him are excellent as he lets you know what he set ups he wants, so I can get the studio ready for his needs by the time he's here.

Models always have a very enjoyable shoot with him too.

Mike attended our recent Portraiture Lighting Masterclass with Manuel Delaflor, as well as one of the 1-to-1s with Manuel afterwards.

It was a pleasure meeting Mike for the first time, who helped us set up some of the gear and asked a number of good questions throughout the class. He clearly has a good knowledge of photography, was professional, and respectful of the young model stand in we had for the class.

We of course hope the day was inspiring, and Mike learned a few things he can use in future projects; ideally out our studio, as we'd love to have him back here. Recommended!!

Mike attended a lighting workshop here at the studio. It was a pleasure to meet Mike and work with him for the day. He clearly enjoys the shooting process and was great fun to work with. He was courteous and polite to our model and was respectful at all times, working hard to achieve a high standard of images. From his feedback I know he learned a lot from the workshop and I look forward to seeing more images from him in the future.

First time working with mike at f8 studios in Shrewsbury and I found working with this photographer to be an absolute pleasure.

Mike was well organised , specific about what he wanted to achieve and above all , passionate.

Mike has a beautiful personality and really engages with the model/camera in order to express the model in a favourable manner.

I wouldn’t hesitate to work with mike again , the shoot was fun and relaxed and I’m incredibly happy with the results.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mike and working through some queries with him, after which we shot with a model.

It's really interesting to observe how togs treat models - Mike was respectful, kind and considerate, while being clear about the poses he wanted. Every so often, he showed her how the shots were turning out, which most models find very encouraging.

The results were good, and the model is looking forward to seeing the edits - always a good sign! (And I'm looking forward to seeing them, too!)

On this basis, I'd recommend him to models as a good chap to work with.

From the first pre-shoot communications Mike was very professional and to the point, ensuring I understood all the levels which he wanted to work too. He arrived early and well prepared, greeted me with a warm smile and was very respectful. The shoot was located at my home in Cheshire and Mike was a real gentleman, keeping the house tidy and creating some great sets. He was very friendly and easy to get on with but always remained very professional and respected all my levels. He captured some wonderful images and has a real talent for model photography especially portraiture. I would recommend him to any model or studio. 5* Photographer and wonderful all round chap! HIGHLY RECOMMEND *****

I had a delightful shoot with Mike at Map studios. Mike was so easy to get along with, he is polite and freindly, I felt comfortable throughout our shoot.

He was full of great ideas as well as being open to trying something new and different. Some of my favourite images came from us using the natural light in Maps new studio space. I just love his composition and the soft textures and delicate use of light in those images.

All in all a wonderful shoot and I would have no problem recommending Mike.
