I want to put Melanie in chains and keep her in my studio...permanently. She is a lovely talented open warm bubbly genuinely nice human being (probably with red cheeks after that!)

She is a very talented MUA who is full of creativity and enthusiasm. I reallly really really really really hope

to work with her a ot more in the future....cos she makes my job so easy...she does all the hard behind the scenes stuff and all I have to do is press a button and take the credit....how good is that!

The only fly in the ointment was time....We were very time limited and I think once we had all relaxed and started to get wildly creative our time together was almost up and a lot of the stuff we talked about just didnt happen (but hopefully next time)

Oh did I mention I really want to work with her again?

Mel is a fabulous make up artist. She gives me the impression she knows what she's doing very well.

She had 2 interns with her and it seemed no effort at all to give a decent explanation, keep the concept in mind and still look after my well being. Also her interns were very kind with me.

Mel had very good ideas and knew how to make them come true. It was clear she did research before, but she was also open for new suggestions and blended them with what she had in mind, all the time with a good critical eye.

She was flexible, worked very fast and had a good estimation of time. Further on she was kind and easy to talk with, what I always appreciate in collaborations.

One big positive point was that all three of them stayed till the end and also helped me with taking off all the make up and strange stuff in my hair. It went so much faster than when I have to do it on my own and it's much better for my skin.

I would definitely work with her again and recommend her to professionals because she knows her job, she knows the differences between different ways of photography, film and casual make up and she knows a wide variety of difficult make-up.

I also reccomand her to beginners because she will know what you need better than you self do, she will come up with ideas and she'll explain why she does what she does.

Hope to see her again.

I shot a day shoot at MelVicMakeUp Academy after applying for a casting call. We shot a period style of make up and shoot. The pre shoot communication was fantastic and I really felt organised and ready. Mel's girls are a credit to Mel's name being trained to a very high standard and I was even lucky enough to have Mel do some of my make up and hair during the shoot, and it is clear to see she is at the very top of her industry. She is also welcoming and warm and very easy to communicate and get along with. I would encourage any creative who has the opportunity to work with her to do so.

I volunteered via a casting call to model for one of Mel's one on one lessons and had a fantastic, although very long, day, that was most definitely worthwhile.

Both Mel and her student Mima were wonderful, friendly and polite, and I went through many strange, exciting and hilarious transformations into various different characters. It was a super fun day, with two super awesome ladies and I really enjoyed metamorphosing and adapting to the characters I became!

I can't wait to work with Mel again and let her work her magic on me for a second time! :)

Had another SUPER shoot with Mel the other day. I love working with Mel as she's got to be one of THE nicest people in the industry you'll ever meet and she never fails to deliver awesome results! Looking through the images straight out of camera, the makeup is exceptional, just what we needed for this shoot. Thanks Mel I'll be in editing heaven now for the next few weeks ;)

I had my makeup done on Monday at the academy. Well what can u say other than what a pleasure. Mel was amazing and all the girls where lovely! I felt relaxed and very comfortable.

My make up looks where beautiful! Very clean cut and she definitely knows what she's doing :)

Was lovely too meet you and your girls and would definitely recommend anyone to work with you!!

Met Melanie for the first time at a group shoot in Cheshire last weekend. What an artist! Clearly Melanie is at the top of her profession. Her skills and attention to detail are remarkable and the transformations the created on the day were fantastic. It was a pleasure to work with her and I highly recommend her to all.

Mel was one of two make-up artists at an all day fashion shoot organised by John Gannon that I shot at. With 4 models, and a series of costume and style changes throughout the day, the creative team worked flat out creating look after look for the 4 models on the set: from simple beauty through bold glamour right through to some real avant garde creations. Mel works with such speed *and* creativity, to a very high standard - and is highly recommended by me.

Melanie provided her skills for a group shoot I had arranged with 4 models. The shoot was designed as an Avant garde fashion and tasteful nude shoot set in a large private garden.

Pre shoot communications were excellent Melanie arrived with an assistant and joined the creative team consisting of a second MUA ,a hair stylist and fashion designer. Work was commenced with the minimum of direction on our 4 fabulous models creating different looks for each model and for each setting, 12 in all. The outcomes were fantastic and helped to make the shoot the success that it was. Knowing what works for each model and for each set/style, the speed at which she worked and the skill in applying the make up was absolutely first class.

As far as I am concerned Melanie is a top class make up artist, she brings a wealth of experience and her skills are second to none. I cannot recommend Melanie enough I considered myself very fortunate to that she was able to attend the shoot.

Melanie is such inspiration, shes at the top of her game, and a privilage to work with. Her patience was great, she bearly sat down the whole show, but kept relaxed. Her make-up skills are beyond amazing, she transformed me into other people, I'd never done full bodypaint before, glad I got to have this opportunity with Melanie, thankyou so much! Recommend hugely!

Had another shoot with Mel yesterday. It's always a joy to work with Melanie as she's so friendly and chatty always putting everyone at ease immediately. Her makeup skills are second to none as she yet again created an outstanding look that took the images to another level. Always a pleasure 100% recommended til the next time :)

Had another great shoot with Mel yesterday. Her makeup skills are exceptional as always. What really makes Mel the real deal though is her easy manner with both model and photographer. With her makeup touch up and interaction with the model throughout, Mel is an invaluable addition to any shoot. 100 % recommended as always.
