I worked at Ians lovely studio again on tour recently and had such a lovely time! Catching up with Ian is like catching up with an old friend (well thats because he is a friend! :) ) and I always love coming back!

I had organised a studio day at the studo which was great fun! The photographers went away with lovely images and were very happy- which is also thanks to Ians fantastic lighting and helpful advice.

Ian is a very passionate photographer, always on the ball with lighting and editing, so I just had to do a quick shoot with him at the end of my day (and very glad I did!) I love the work we produce together and it always reminds me that I need to dedicate a day just working with Ian- he is a very talented photographer- and if you get the chance to work together- TAKE IT! :)

Thanks so much for being such a great host Ian, highly recommended to all and I really hope to see you soon! Helen x

Rachelle Summers

I shot with Max back in August, doing a studio workshop for a few of his clients and then ending the day working with him. Unfortunately my reference is a bit late as I went off gallivanting for my wedding and honeymoon and so I'm only just catching up on references for the work I did on the lead up to it - slaps own hand!

Max was super attentive with his clients on the workshop, really going out of his way to help them with ideas and lighting and making sure they left from the day with some superb images! The shoot with him at the end of the day was awesome and just what I expected. I have wanted to work with him for years after seeing his work and I hope this won't be the last time!

Incredibly talented photographer and just a hoot to be around!

Having been a great admirer of Ian's work over many years it was a privilege and pleasure to visit his fantastic Studio today and receive instruction and advice from the MASTER!

That the beautiful Rachelle Summers was the model made no difference to my rushing to the shoot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was the most instructive shoots I've ever had. Two of the best teachers. The incredible, beautiful and talented Rachelle Summers and the Master of lighting and coffee making Max Operandi at his studio. If you get the chance, book them, together they are awesome.

Ian is simply one of the nicest people you could hope to work with, as well as being full of creative ideas and stories to go with his images. Ian is respectful, helpful and kind throughout the shoot.

I worked with the lovely Max again on a tour a few weeks ago (apologies for the late reference!) and had such a blast- as always! :) Max was very kind and organised for me to shoot with a client of his who wanted a tutorial in photography one evening at his studio. I had such a lovely evening!

I also stayed with Max and his lovely wife for the evening to save on accomodation which was so appreciated (and full of cats- my favourite house ever! :) ) I had also organised a full studio day the following day which was a great success and sold out! Max was on hand to help with the lighting, was such a great host and made the day super enjoyable. Thanks so much for your hospitality and kindness and really hope to see you again soon! Worked with the lovely Max today on a lifestyle/advertisement shoot in a fantastic hotel location. His pre shoot communications were excellent, great direction throughout the shoot as well as having an eye for artistic angles. His friendly and professional manner made the time fly by, a joy to work with. Highly recommended folks.

I shot with Max Operandi during my last trip in UK.

We had a great session together with the lovely Karen Jones.

The location was great even if a bit chilly for an italian model spoiled with good whether.

But Max and Karen were really kind and they made sure I had breaks from a shoot to another to warm up. We achieved great results as you can tell from what he has published on purple port.

Max Operandi is a very talented photographer and a lovely person to have nice chat with.

I would love to shoot again with him whenever I'll be back to London and I would recommend him to all models.

Had my first shoot with Ian on Tuesday. He is such a lovely man and we talked and talked. His studio is fabulous with so many options too. He makes a great cuppa and made sure I was nice and warm on a bitterly cold day. He had plenty of ideas too, and the time just flew by.

I worked with Ian recently on a shoot. I had a huge amount of fun, and I felt it was easy to work together, both in terms of the communication and the artistic vision. Ian is kind, friendly, fun, easy-going, polite, thoughtful, enthusiastic, extremely competent and has a very good eye. I'm very pleased with the results of the shoot. I cannot recommend him more as a photographer. If you get the opportunity to work with him, go for it. I can't wait for our next shoot together sometime in the future.

I worked with Ian again the other day after a year or so since our last shoot and damn, wish it had been sooner! As Ian is such a lovely person to be around- a complete chatterbox, very entertaining and lively to speak to and work with- you immediately feel very comfortable with Ian like he is an old friend. Ians new studio is beautiful, very clean, modern, with fantastic sets and different rooms/studios to shoot in. I absolutely loved the new studio and really hope to be booked there in the future.

Ians photographs are absolutely beautiful- he makes the model looks his/her best and his lighting is stunning also! I hope we work together lots in the future, a really lovely man. Highly recommended to all models and creatives of all experiences and really hope to work with very soon! Helen x

This was the second time that I've been to see Max with a view to benefiting from his vast experience and to use his studio. Max is an excellent and patient tutor and his knowledge of lighting and portrait work is very extensive. I had an amazing shoot with Ian today!

I had to come from Cambridge to Bedfort, and Ian picked me up at the station and brought to a nice studio. He explained what we gonna work on today and showed some examples on computer, he also collected some nice pictures which was a good inspiration.

The shoot itself went perfect, Ian is very professional. He also directed me when needed and there is a mirror in the studio which helps to monitor the poses. It was easy to achieve the best pictures!

Ian is a great person with lots of interesting ideas, recommended!

I finally got to work with Ian this week on an art project with two other models in Stockport and what a fun day we all had.

Ian is completely professional yet very easy to work with and great sense of humour too.

Ian gives direction extremely well, which always makes my job so much easier :), Ian shows great style in his work and the images he produces of the nude body are just beautiful.

I can not wait to work with Ian on a 1:1 shoot soon, I am sure we will have another fun and creative day ahead of us. Ian is highly recommended from me :) x

I very much enjoyed meeting and working with Ian recently, at his friend's incredible location and grounds. He had with him his photographer friend Jules, and together they worked on some beautiful outdoor nudes with me, making sure I was comfortable and happy throughout, putting me in some beautiful scenes and on some vintage props! I am definitely looking forward to the next shoot. Thanks!

...I've also worked with Ian now during a fine art nude masterclass held by the Yerburys, which I was modelling for. Again Ian was enthusiastic and great to have around, keen to experiment with new ideas and taking some really beautiful images I am proud of.
