Such a lovely and comfortable shoot. Great set to work with and also used the tub for water shoot. Managed to get through quite alot with myself and another model working together and single shots. Great costumes chosen and Maria has a great eye for details. She designs and creates her own jewellery too and has a massive collectionof beautiful wigs to wear! Loved the themes for the day. Would recommend!

First time working with Maria on this project and it was an amazing experience! We were able to get a lot of great stuff done in the limited time we had, and with the unfavourable weather conditions. She had lots of great ideas for poses in the bath (which was very warm and relaxing), and made me feel at ease. Her photos are top quality. Highly recommend her to models!

Again wonderful experience working with Maria, I was asked if I was available to shoot on short notice for another mermaid fantasy photo shoot. I certainly took interest and was happy to collaborate with Maria again. Her work is outstanding, from planning, props, outfits and it all flows so well together. I am a big fan of Maria's work, especially her unique mermaid fantasy shoots so when I saw her casting the opportunity finally arose for me to get involved. My first impressions of Maria is that she is very well organised with clear instructions on what to expect, what will be required and how to prepare. Having taken part in her shoot, I can see this is extremely necessary. Maria had a specific look in mind and it helped us to understand what was required in makeup. This type of shoot is very complex, difficult and time consuming so being well prepared is important.

Maria showed her experience with shooting in the bath, especially with the mermaid style, and being outdoors. She also knows how to direct models in the bath as it is very different from other styles. However, she also takes on board models ideas and suggestion, adapting them to the situation and creating something unique.

The results I've seen so far are stunning and I would thoroughly recommend Maria if you want to take part in this type of shoot. It requires a lot of attention to detail but it is a unique experience that delivers exceptional results.

After seeing Maria Mirage casting on Facebook, I had to dive in and apply for the mermaid shoot. It sure is one of my dreams to become a mermaid and I absolutely felt like one! I admire her style of photography and her hard work she puts towards a shoot. The day was fantastic, along with great communications and provided with unlimited tea/scones for the day! Maria has a confident idea on how she wants the set and models to look, so no doubt I wouldn't question it and the previews she showed me, looked absolutely beautiful. She has her own flare in her style and executes it very well, thank you very much for bringing the magic to life for me and I enjoyed the day very much!

I would highly recommend working with Maria anytime and would happily do it again!

Sorry for the late reference!

After coming across her absolutely beautiful work in the forums, I was over the moon when Maria announced that she would be bringing her mermaid-related talents to Wales for a group event. I don't normally attend events/workshops but having been in awe of Maria's exceptional photography, modelling and design skills, I knew I'd be kicking myself if I missed the opportunity.

Maria was incredibly organised and provided loads of helpful details in the run up to the day, creating an entire Facebook page for those attending and making sure to include very thorough and useful tips, lists and information, as well as pictures and maps of the location. She even made sure to call me a few days prior to make sure that everything was set and to ask if I had any questions, which was really appreciated. All photographers and models in attendance were given the opportunity to tailor their experience by voting for specific locations, outfits and props they wanted to use and Maria was incredibly accommodating throughout, making sure there was something special for everyone to enjoy.

I was the last person to arrive on the day but by then, Maria was already hard at work styling the models beside her changing tent and making sure that everyone had the help they needed to get into a gorgeous, colourful tail (which did NOT look easy!). Her prop making skills are out of this world and everything she makes looks very detailed, professional and high quality. Having brought a huge amount of props with her to use, the event got off to a booming start and it's evident the moment you meet Maria that she's incredibly passionate about her art. Conscious of safety and comfort, Maria made sure that we were all aware of the movement capabilities each model would have whilst in their tail and provided plenty of soft mats and blankets for the models to use when changing in and out of them.

Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to have a proper talk with Maria due to having to leave a bit early, as I'd have loved to ask her more about her work both in front of and behind the camera. From the interactions I did have with her though, I can say that she's a fantastically creative and talented person with great passion and a determination to really bring something extra to those she's working with. Very supportive, hard-working, friendly and dedicated, I also got to watch her work as a photographer briefly and can say without doubt that she's an utmost professional through and through. I was quite inspired by the way she directed her models and it's clear that this is a woman who knows exactly how to bring the best out in people.

I'd happily recommend this talented photographer/model to anyone. Thank you so very much Maria for bringing your beautiful brand of magic to our little corner of Wales! I had an absolutely fantastic time and know I'd never have been able to achieve my mermaid dreams without your skills, artistry and support. Hopefully next time we'll be able to have a proper chat but in the meantime, I hope you had a brilliant holiday in sunny Wales!

Had the absolute pleasure of attending one of Maria's mermaid events down at The Mumbles, South Wales. This was my first time being a mermaid and honestly I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Maria provided the stunning tails, wigs, hand-made tops and accessories and was my stylist for the day. She very kindly allowed me to shoot in two gorgeous tails, I felt so lucky!

As there were multiple photographers there, I sadly did not get to shoot long with Maria but during our short time, I think we managed to produce some awesome images (I can't wait to see the final results)! I would love the opportunity to shoot with Maria again - you can see by her outstanding portfolio that she is a very talented photographer with an excellent eye for detail.

I highly recommend booking a shoot with Maria. If you don't own a tail, like me, but want to live your fantasy and become a mermaid, then Maria is the person to talk to.

Communication skills before during and after shoot has be wonderful and to the point. Maria has wonderful ideas and she shows her magic off in more way than one. Her costume making and creative thinking skills are incredible 😁

The group workshop at Mumbles Beach was my second time working with Maria, and my first time being a mermaid. After that and our 1-on-1 session back in July, I have to say she is one of my favorite photographers to work with.

She is incredibly efficient, organized, and communicative, so I know exactly what to expect and prepare for before arriving at the shoot. And when we're actually shooting, Maria gives precise guidance on posing, which is SO helpful as I'm a perfectionist and want to make sure every aspect of the shot is done as intended. On top of modeling and photography, Maria makes gorgeous mermaid accessories -- you can tell she invests a lot of time and effort into them and cares about her craft. AND despite having tons of experience compared to my >2 years of modeling, I always felt like she was receptive to my creative input.

I highly recommend working with Maria. If you get the opportunity to, seize it! Not only will you get beautiful photos, but from a creative standpoint, her process is uniquely fascinating and I feel like I've learned tons both times I worked with her.

I was fortunate enough to model at a Mermaid-themed location shoot organised by this talented woman, at the beautiful beach in St. Andrews, Scotland.

As the shoot's stylist, Maria was impeccably organised, bringing with her an extensive range of mermaid tails, wigs and accessories, many of which she has hand-crafted.

She held no aversion to climbing up slippy rocks in less-than-desirable weather, helping models in and out of their costumes and keeping the photographers busy.

I also had the very lucky opportunity to see her skills as a photographer in-action! Even after working such a long day, she never stopped behind the camera until she had got the perfect set of images.

I would heavily recommend Maria-- She is worth every penny, as few people have her creative vision and drive to achieve it.

The organising of models and location was thorough and the quality and level of detail and organisation for the outfits was outstanding. The weather was not perfect with a strong wind but the dedication of Maria and the models was impressive and highly recommended. Thank you Maria for a great day and such amazing mermaids!

Maria´s event today was fantastic! she was all set up when I got to the beach and had a large variety of props and costumes ready to be wore. She is an excelent guider and her energy and friendliness makes of the whole experience a total glorious day! I had a shoot with Maria and it she is AMAZING! We did a bath fairy style shoot and it was like a dream come true to take a part in such a great project. Location was stunning, Maria does most of her photos in her garden. She had impressive collection of accessories and wigs.

It was my first experience of photoshoot in water. It was my dream to model for Maria Mirage for a long time. As she is incredibly talented photographer with huge experience and tons of creative ideas. Every photo by her is a pice of art! She has a massive stock of costumes, hand made accessories (made by Maria), wigs and all sorts of decoration to make a perfect scene and background for every photoshoot. She can turn you into a mermaid in her garden lagoon, mysterious princess or even into an evil goddess. Maria is extremely professional, interesting and creative personality. It was a big pleasure and incredible experience for me to work with so talented photographer! I hope to work with her again!

Since we were travelling a long way down, she had a nice comfortable bed made up for us so we could come down the night before.

Her home is beautiful, you can really tell that she's not just a fantastic photographer, but a fantastic model as well.

She puts together outfits so well, and is able to spot all the little tweaks in poses to make them perfect.

I hope to work with her again!

I had the opportunity to work with Maria on a Nymp and Nyaid shoot last month. Pre communications were great, and all props were ready for me. Maria had made a beautiful handmade head piece and her collection of props and clothes are breathtaking. We were also treated to afternoon tea which was great! My make up was also done to a high standard and I felt beautiful. I am so looking forward to seeing the end results! I would love to work with Maria again in the future and Maria is highly recommended by me. :)

Ria Fantastic

I had a lovely water/lake shoot with Maria Mirage at Medusa's Garden. The team was all female, which it has been a loooong time since I've had last, and was incredibly nurturing. Maria also took great care of us with constant tea and scones.

Maria really makes sure to do things right, as close to perfect as possible, when creating her art. This is what makes her so successful - in combination with her incredible creativity and the beautiful set-up at Medusa's Garden. She completely transformed an ordinary backyard into a goddess haven, and I felt transported!

She has amazing knowledge of set design and styling a model - I looked like a pre-rephealite nymph when she was done with me! The pool was even heated :) Every detail had attention paid to it.

Working with her is worth every minute of the journey and I am sure the pictures will be nothing short of masterpieces. (Also, she has two adorable cats!)

Highly recommend Maria and Medusa's Garden! Hope to work with her again.

I fell in love with Maria's photography so I arranged a shoot with her. Maria's pre-shoot communication was fab. She was quick to respond and full of ideas for me to choose from. Her wardrobe and props are extensive, so much to choose from. Her garden studio has many nice areas for shooting. We had a great shoot and luckily the weather turned out to be ok too. I love the finished photos.
