Mai Has done 2 group shoots with us. The first she is thrown into the deep end and was her first group shoot with us. She was on time happy to have an input with ideas and great working with everyone. She has also had to master tethering with us and everyone was very happy with her work. The group was headdresses which would be a challenge for anyone and she is really well that we had her back for a second group shoot. The second and most recent group shoot was a sport fitness shoot. Which again she was amazing at and played into her strengths. She brought outfits that suited the shoot and also happy to do our silly ideas. Highly recommend!

I attended Alastair Currill's Studio for a fitness group shoot with Mai. Mai led the group through a number of different workout actions and poses that led to some fantastic images. Mai needs no direction in this genre that she knows very well.

I had the pleasure of working with Mai at a group shoot at Alastair Currell's studio recently. Mai's a great model, with plenty of poses, nothing is too much trouble and with a lovely personality to boot.

Would I recommend Mai Rose? Yes! Absolutely! 100%! We just enjoyed the most amazingly creative and productive shoot yesterday. But to start at the beginning...

Mai's pre-shoot comms are exemplary. She has a thorough and professional approach, all the way from the response to the casting call to confirming the travel arrangements on the day. Likewise with her pre-shoot preparation: shoot-ready in the blink of an eye, and with a tardis-like bag of the outfits we'd discussed plus much, much more (I was promised "Wow" and was not disappointed :-)).

From the first click of the shutter I knew I was working with another creative soul, and one with an infectious enthusiasm for her craft. With Mai's confident and strong posing, expressive face (those eyes!) and toned physique, we were always going to make some strong images, but I think we did even better than that - a truly collaborative effort, resulting in something more than the sum of our individual contributions.

When everything clicks, and the images are making both of you grin, that's the "rush" that I live for in model photography! Add the fact Mai is such a lovely, grounded person to be around, and that's a perfect shoot. We're already planning our next one, for all the ideas we came up with but didn't have time for :-). Enough said!

I took the opportunity to attend Mai's Twins Model Event for my 4th shoot with Mai. Not only is Mai brilliant to work with she really works well together with her sister and between them gave me so many great images both individually and as a duo.

I can't recommend Mai enough and I look forward to our next creative encounter. My highest un-reserved recommendation.

I shot with Mai and her twin sister as part of one of their twin shoot events and thoroughly enjoyed the session.

Mai is always a enthusiastic, versatile and confident model and both her and her sister have put a huge amount of time and effort into planning their events. The venue and location were stunning and Mai was well prepared for the shoot when I arrived. Makeup and hair set to a high standard as always and outfits thought through and coordinated with her twin.

We went through a range of ideas and outfits and I've been blown away by some of the images captured during the few hours we were shooting.

I thoroughly recommend shooting with Mai and keeping an eye out for her future events!

Today I had the absolute pleasure of being invited to a twin model event hosted by Mai and her twin sister at her beautiful home, a converted coach house.

Mai was very welcoming and coffee, conversation and laughs were flowing from the off. Makeup done to a high standard and the benefit of a stunning location we created so many different looks inside and out. Mai poses effortlessly and her movements are so fluid, making my job very easy.

In conjunction with her twin sister we created some stunning images throughout the day, using a variety of outfits, I’m so grateful for the opportunity to work with these lovely ladies. It was very clear they had both spent a lot of time and effort into organising the event.

I can’t wait to share the final images from today and can’t thank Mai enough for arranging such a fabulous day. Very highly recommended and I hope we’ll be working together again in the future.

Reference 5 now? Possibly the 7th shoot in a little under 3 months? :D

Anyway - this shoot was planned in 24hrs and was something different to anything we done previously. To mix things up further, I'd also lined up another model that Mai hadn't met before. Mai took it in her stride as usual and worked enthusiastically with the other model and quickly understood the concept we were shooting and the poses that would be required. She also got involved with the concept itself, helping me with props and equipment while the other model was shooting.

Really supportive and energetic. Recommended as usual :D

Phenomenal shoot with Mai! Such a professional and so creative. Was really impressed by how helpful she was to the photographer in making sure we captured what we wanted. She also had some great ideas for the lighting we were using.

An unexpected 3rd shoot with Mai after she kindly stepped in when I had a last-minute cancellation. A completely different setting this time, but Mai was as good as ever and we got through a load of sets and outfits, and a few settings I don't normally shoot. Mai is great to work with and the shoots are always great fun and creative.

Mai is now opening up her home for homeshoots and I just wanted to mention what a fab space it is. It's a characterful barn conversion with lots of usable features and really spacious!

A 4th shoot is already booked so I can back-up my validation of this fine model's ability and work ethic. I can't recommend Mai highly enough.

Had a great shoot with Mia at a group shoot.

Mia can pose easily on her own with little direction but is also more than happy to be given direction. Full of energy and confidence Mia is an absolute joy to work with the shoot felt fresh and it just flowed.

I will be looking to book Mia soon for some shoots I have planned as she would be ideal for the ideas I have.

A second shoot with Mai and what a blast! I enjoyed the first one but this one was on another level! Mai is an absolute delight to work with and we created some amazing images. Changes were quick, outfits creative and the time just flew by, I didn't want the shoot to end!

Mai is one of the best new models I have worked with in the last few years and I look forward to more shoots! Absolutely my highest recommendation and I very much look forward to the next encounter!

I worked with Maia on her first studio group shoot and her first shoot with a remote photographer (that's with 4 photographers in a studio and me connecting remotely) and she took it in her stride. Despite this being her first time taking direction via Zoom to a tripod mounted camera, she managed her position and her poses well to keep within the camera view and we very quickly created a great set of images during the session. This was especially a challenge because of the size of the headdresses being modelled!!

100% recommended as always :D

This was my first shoot with Mai as part of a studio group shoot, and it turned out to be an excellent experience.

Mai knows what she is doing so this always makes a shoot easier, therefore direction from me was minimal as she struck pose after pose effortlessly. Mai also has a sense of humour which added a fun factor to the evening.

Highly recommended and I'm sure I'll be working with her again in the near future.

My first chance to work with Mai was at a group shoot where she was modelling ornate headpieces. She brought stunning looks and a range of outfits, which worked well with the different pieces and backdrops.

She was attentive, easy-going, and enthusiastic. She poses well, with or without direction, and I got images which I am very happy with.

I hope I will get to shoot with her again soon, I can be confident of getting more great images. Recommended 100%.

Rich Imagery

I had a great shoot with Maia today in the centre of Bath.

We had very constructive pre-shoot comms, even settling on the exact outfits, colours & style if images that worked for both of us.

Maia was extremely well prepared with all the outfits, and make-up & hair.

With each location mapped out, we worked very efficiently with the time, and utilised the outfits to suit each place around Bath.

The images turned out extremely well, mostly down to Maia requiring very little direction, and the patience to get the right shots & angles.

Maia is one of the most professionally working model I would 110% work with her again, and very much recommend Maia to anyone looking for a tip rate model to work with.

Unique Beauty

We had our first shoot with Maia at the weekend and she was awesome: friendly, professional and has a great presence in front of the camera. Pre-shoot comms were good and she arrived ready with hair and make up done to a good standard and some beautiful outfits

Maia has a locker full of poses, but also took direction well, in addition to that Maia was prepared to put her all in to the shoot to create some fantastic images, whether that be climbing down steep banks into brooks or rummaging through the undergrowth. Maia also showed great patience as we had to deal with ever-changing sunlight impacted by the windy conditions

It was a fabulously fun shoot with all three of us adding to the creativity, we can't wait to work on the images and look forward to working again with Maia in our studio in the future

I worked with Maia on a duo shoot and she was fantastic. Maia is super fun and friendly whilst also being highly professional. She works any style beautifully and her sweet nature is very relaxing to be around.

Well, first shoot back after lockdown and I have to say I am glad it was with Maia. Great pre-shoot comms, arrived as agreed and came with an open mind and a great attitude. Lovely outfits, great poses, nothing was too much trouble. Quick changes (oh and I forgot to say hair and make-up on arrival were spot on). A great shoot and I will happily work with Maia again. Looking forward to the next one....ideas developing!

This wa smy first time shooting with Mai in studio and she arrived on time and well prepared for the shoot as always. Outfit changes were quick and she brought a wide range of options with her to shoot with.

Mai's posing was on point as usual and she brought a solid variety of poses, including a number of new ideas that I hadn't seen before (which is impressive, considering that this was my 5th shoot with Mai this year!!)

She is as equally at home in studio as she is outdoors and also adapted quickly to get good results from some of the different creative themes we shot together.
