I had a fantastic day at MAAN Studios last week.

I hadn’t done much work in studios before, but I took the plunge and booked the studio for a day. It was easy to make the arrangements and communicate with Ann-Marie prior to the day.

When I arrived, Ann-Marie greeted me and immediately made me feel at ease. Nothing was too much trouble for her and throughout the day she made sure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed.

I started off with a fantastic tutorial from Mark, who explained how the lights work and let me practice different camera and lighting settings using a mannequin called Gloria. This was just what I needed and Mark’s clear explanations gave me the confidence that I’d be able to get some good shots with the two models who I worked with in the afternoon.

MAAN Studios is a great space and Ann-Marie and Mark were so friendly and welcoming that I’ll definitely make use of the studio again in the future.

I’d highly recommend this studio, particularly for photographers who, like me, are a bit nervous about using a studio for the first time.

I recently had a Beauty Portraits photoshoot at MAAN Studios.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Ann-Marie who is such a lively, bubbly person. She has such a lovely personality which made me feel very relaxed and welcoming. All the Comms sent by her was excellent, it covered everything and was communicated well. The studio is very modern and very clean.

They arranged for a MUA to do my makeup and Rebecca(not on PP) was just amazing and did a fantastic job!

Mark was the photographer and he was just as nice. He explained everything well and guided me through various poses. His expertise in photography is admirable, he used various lightings. The images have come out really nice and I can't wait to receive the final retouched/edited images.

I highly recommend MAAN Studios.

I had my second shoot at this lovely studio, this time with the wonderful Model Birgit Lechner, The booking was simple and easy with simple coms and payment.

Birgit and I had a 4 hour shoot and it flew by. We were greeted warmly and on time, the studio was clean and beautifully warm, such an important detail. We had ideas which were simply implemented with all the help we needed and respectful privacy when required. The shoot went sublimely, capturing some really lovely images in such warm, friendly atmosphere, Birgit and I able to relax and shoot at out own rate.

I have absolutely no problem highly recommending the studio to any model and photographer. I hope to be back there again soon.

It was my first time shooting at Maan Studio and it was an amazing experience.

As soon as Ann-Marie welcomed us and showed me the studio I knew why Ian (my photographer) recommended me this place to shoot and returned after shooting there not long ago.

The studio is clean, perfectly equipped and Ann-Marie an amazing personality and host.

She was always making sure everything is just right - and this highly contributed to a perfect shooting outcome.

I had my first shoot at Maan Studio with the amazing Chiara Elisabetta and it was absolutely fabulous. The studio was clean and I was greeted warmly and shot in such a lovely, friendly atmosphere. It's terrific to discover a nice studio so close to home/

Cheryl and I had so much fun shooting and produced many amazing shots. he studio was warm and well equipped and help was on hand when needed and privacy given when wanted.

I shall certainly not be the last time shooting at Maan studio.

I had a wonderful shoot with Mark and Ann-Marie for a skincare brand Sens8ate! I worked alongside the wonderful Rebecca Manning (Makeup Artist) who helped me achieve a wonderfully natural look to compliment the brand. Mark and Ann-Marie paid careful attention to the composition and lighting that the images would need to best enhance the brand, myself as a model, and Rebecca as the Makeup Artist. The images turned out incredible and I am so grateful to Mark and Ann-Marie for always providing a safe, enjoyable and professional environment to work in! Thank you :D

This was my second shoot at MAAN studios. Studio is run by Ann-Marie and Mark who are wonderful people and soooo helpful! The success of my 2 shoots so far with them has been largely down to Mark who is a lighting wizard and offered me loads of help as a relative newbie to the studio.

Maan Studio is a great studio , I whole heartedly recommend this studio!

I used MAAN studio for the first time yesterday.

Directions given were spot-on. Payment was very easy and the shoot was arranged in less 36hrs.

I was welcomed to the studio by the lovely Ann-Marie like if I was a long time customer.

Ann-Marie was very help full threw out the photo shoot. Each time I need her assistance she helped me with care and attention . Was offered tea and coffee during the breaks The studio is well equipped. Would use the studio in the future. For me 100% recommended to pro and amateur photographers.

Used Maan Studious for the first time and was incredibly impressed. Communication was fantastic, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating and helpful. The studio is a nice space and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. There is good off and on street parking. Would highly recommend them. Mark and Anne-Marie (owners) were fantastic. Lovely studio.

I hired MAAN studios for a half-day studio shoot I’d arranged with a model, the second time I’d used this studio. Ann-Marie and Mark (the studio owners) were there to help with some of the setup, but stayed out of the way to allow me to work in a focused way with my shoot. They are knowledgeable and very friendly and happy to assist when needed. They also have the best coffee of any studio I’ve used! The studio has plenty of gear and the space for me to shoot with longer lenses as I prefer. It’s also great value. I greatly enjoyed my shoot and will use them again - and recommend them to any photographer and model.

I was fortunate enough to shoot at MAAN studios! Mark and Ann Marie are such genuine and lovely souls. I shot an Old Style Hollywood Beauty theme, and the images have turned out so good! When I arrived for my shoot I was greeted with such a lovely energy, and felt at home from the start! The studio is beautiful, clean and filled with professional gear. I was so impressed with how professional Mark and Ann-Marie were. When I needed help with wardrobe they were so accommodating, and throughout the shoot the images were going straight onto the big screen so I could see them straight away! This was a massive help went it came to readjusting positions, poses and anything to do with makeup & outfit. I had so much fun and will always recommend MAAN Studios! This was the long awaited Social get together that Was delayed due to lockdown so it was a fantastic evening and so lovely to see some familiar faces as well as some new ones too .

I’ve just shot from this studio today and I can’t praise it enough. It’s a little hard to find, as it isn’t on the street, it’s down a path, and through a door that takes you round the back, but once you walk in, I was greeted with so much warmth from Ann-Marie. She offered me a hot drink and something to snack on. I feel very welcome straight away! As for the studio itself, it is a train arch, so you can hear the trains travel over you every so often, but it has so much room, every light head and set up there if you need it. It had enough room to shoot 85mm, as the studio has length. I used a few coloured backgrounds and I really didn’t want to time to end. Super space, very very lovely staff, and a place that I’m sure I will use again as I just felt the creative juices flow due to everything it has to offer. 10/10 from me and hugely recommended studio! Thanks guys!

MAAN studios is absolutely amazing! I've worked here a number of times and on every occasion it has been a delight- the studio is beautiful, incredible design (by Ann-Marie herself!!), super clean, and fully equipped for all your photographic and modelling requirements! Owned by such lovely, talented, professional, and creative people; Ann-Marie and Mark make you feel welcomed from arrival and have such great energy! I can't recommend this studio enough, if you're lucky enough to shoot here you will not be disappointed! I'm honored to be a resident model here and I look forward to shooting in the studio again soon! Highly recommend :)

Absolutely love these amazing people and their awesome studio!

No task too hard or challenging today I can honestly say they made my dream come true!

It was one of those moments where you think is that me? did they just make me look like a photo that I only believed could be achieved in Hollywood.

Well Mark and Anne-Marie did just that.

A fantastic collaboration and something that is yet to be showcased so stay tuned! because Retro Rob and MAAN Studios will be doing just that real soon!

What a joy it is to work at MAAN Studios. Not only are Ann-Marie and Mark warm, welcoming and helpful but the studio is spotlessly clean, neat and tidy, beautifully equipped and has plenty of space.... in fact so much space that it could be used as a TV studio. It's easy to get to and there is parking space. There is also a comfortable reception area and a kitchen area - what more could anybody want ! 100% recommended.

5th time shooting at MAAN studio and I finally felt "at home" enough to find things around without asking Ann-Marie "where do you keep the (insert name of photographic item)" too many times. Of course, I found different things to bother her with, like, more coffee or less music!

Jokes apart, it's always a pleasure to shoot at this little jewel of a studio. Every time I work there, I realise that it's more versatile than I thought the previous time. It can be a blank canvas to start from when you have clear ideas about how to build your sets, but it's also a very interesting place with some flexible props to just walk in when you don't really know what you want to do.

The owners are absolutely lovely and will make sure that you get exactly what you want.

Another thing that I want to point out is the thoroughness of their Covid-compliant process. Safety first in this period, and MAAN makes me feel extra safe when I work there. Many thanks again, and virtual hugs to everyone there!
