I invited Luke and his wife Helen Saunders (also on PP) to my camera club for one of our studio evenings. I had initially thought to invite Helen following a recommendation by another club member Dave Belsham (again on PP). However our last club studio night involved a couple so on finding out that Luke was also a model and that together they create these amazing athletic poses I decided I wanted to ask them both and in the end I was really glad I did.

The plan was to shoot Luke and Helen individually for the first hour and then shoot them together in various athletic poses for the second hour. The whole evening went really well.

Despite the last studio night involving a couple, we don’t often have the opportunity to photograph male models at the club so I was particularly looking forward to working with Luke. I created a card playing, drink on table set up and photographed Luke in various poses including card throwing towards the camera. Luke was great and I’ve got some really good and very different images to work on. In the second half Luke and Helen created some amazing athletic poses enabling us all to capture images so different from the usual studio night ones.

shot for the day with salient lupus and his partner at Burford manor. whilst i knew they were kind of athletic it was a joy to see the pair working together, the athlecatism of this pair produces superb images. He is also an experienced phototog so can help in that aspect. thank you. recommend him highly.

I had the great pleasure of meeting and working with Salient Lupus yesterday. His task was to be a very lucky Cork fisherman having to deal with the feisty Molly Malone (Helen Saunders).

As anyone who knows Helen will appreciate, our old salt was successfully distracted from his net-manding chores . . .

Luke arrived at my studio well prepared with his wellington boots and fisherman garb. He intuitively understood that his role was to 'frame' Miss Malone, and in so doing, creating context to the tale.

Luke and Helen know each other well and are entirely comfortable working together. Our fisherman even managed to show off Miss Molly in some very impressive lifts !

Luke is a good-looking guy, well-groomed, and nicely built. He is also a real pleasure to work with. Salient Lupus carries my enthusiastic endorsement.

I had the great pleasure of working with Luke on a duo shoot with photographer Carl Grim. Luke is a delight to shoot alongside; as a photographer himself he instinctively understands what's required of him when given direction, and is always supportive and encouraging towards his fellow models.

Luke brought enthusiasm, ideas and great acro skills to the shoot. In partnership with Helen, he created a variety of amazing poses. It was a challenging session for all of us but good humour, patience and determination all round ensured some fantastic images.

I enjoyed working with Luke and hope I get the chance to do so again.

Luke and I did a shoot together at Rochester Studios with photographer Dave Belsham exploring a series of athletic lifts. Lifts of this nature require a huge amount of trust on both sides, which includes a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. All those attributes extend to every aspect and genre of modelling and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Luke for any project you have in mind.

Had my first shoot today with Luke, a duo with the equally incredible Helen Saunders. Luke is a really great guy, easy to talk to, full of creative ideas and arrived with a huge selection of outfits, not that we used many. Really recommend Luke, and someone I'd definitely love to work with again.

Luke is the ideal model for a portrait group studio session. He brings along a very impressive set of clothing and props, which enables photographers to explore a range of ideas. He has great poses and expressions. He helps with ideas and is a really nice guy to work with which helps photographers new to portrait work. A very versatile model. Highly recommended.

I worked with Luke at a Portrait X shoot in Wales and he was fantastic to work with. Luke is a photographer as well as a model and I think this part of why he is so good to work with as a model as he seems to know exactly what will look good. He has loads of great ideas and worked perfectly with the other model in the Duo.

I think I got some of the most interesting photos I have ever taken working with Luke and it was an absolute pleasure. I can’t wait to work with him again as I am sure it will result in more great photos.

I can't recommend Luke more highly - a friendly guy who doesn't hesitate in giving 100% to achieve the best shot. He throws himself into a role completely (to the extent that I almost didn't recognise him on the second shoot !). Whilst he is more than capable of posing on his own he accepts suggestions / direction readily and works constructively with all parties involved in the shoot.

Luke was one of the models for a group studio session. He brought along some great outfits and great props and was able to create a very unique theme look. He is easy work with, even with those that were new to studio work and helps out with ideas. He came with a female model Anezka that he sometimes works with. Both of them enabled us to create creatively different shots, which made it a very successful evening. Both are very nice people to work with and highly recommended.

Just Imagine

Had a good shoot with Luke this week at Foxton. He was very friendly, imaginative and outgoing, with great ideas and poses that made it easy to get some interesting shots of him. He brought several props along to the shoot that provided an even wider range of possibilities on the shoot: time ran out before the ideas did. I thoroughly recommend Luke (Lupinenoir), he definitely brings a photo shoot to life.

Luke worked with us on our monthly studio event with Anezka and I couldn't be more pleased that Luke joined us. Luke has absolutely bags of experience and it really shows as he is able to provide guidance and assistance with composition, direction & lighting. A real asset to have on set. And his props! Luke brings an array of terrific and incredibly realistic props to add something really special to the shoot. At least, I think they were props! ;')
