I have been taking photographs all my adult life initially using a Minolta SLR film camera for 25 years to produce more than 10000 photos, all in albums spread around my house. Moving onto digital I tried a couple of bridge type cameras before I bought my first DSLR 10 years ago with a view to improving my skills. This coincided with taking early retirement at the end of 2011 since when I've concentrated much of my time to photography. I am the chairman/treasurer of my local camera club and in June 2015 gained the Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society.

Although I like all types of photography I am particularly keen to continue to develop my skills in studio portrait work. Please feel free to contact me if you want to work with me either on a paid or tfp basis. The main portfolio of my work is on Flickr:
