Traditional Kaftan Dress

Taken using just my bog standard D3200 with standard lens and a little diffused lighting.

This was part of a photo shoot I did with Abie Fatty (@abiefatty) in her apartment in Stratford on a late Saturday afternoon in early March.

We couldn’t chance the outside shoot we’d planned due to the ‘oh so reliable’ British weather!

So we made do with what little lighting and space we had.

In this shot we were fighting with the sun in totally the wrong place (almost behind her) but we wanted to make use of her small balcony and couldn’t turn the tower block around, so made do.

Luckily the dual light source helped create a more sheer look to the wonderful traditional dress Abie put on.
