I’ll admit my skill and experience behind the camera, and on the editing desk, is probably not quite as good as I would like it to be. (Although, I do know which way to point things, and my composite work is somewhat better than I give it credit for)

However, I do come with one of the most creative imaginations you will ever find! and a range of creative skills that extend far beyond the lens.  

What I bring to the party is an artists eye, buckets of creativity, the skills to really improvise (3rd Dan Blue Peter skills)   and a real thirst to create.

I am also a professional artist and sculptor with a bit of a name for myself in the comic convention circuit (@DeformedBunny) and have a real eye for detail 

I am well read, well spoken, and with a sense of humour (dark not dirty). I like to build a repore with those I work with and generally have some fun while we work. Always respectful, and ALWAYS the gentleman!

What do I want? 

My tastes are quite wide but quite old school.

I love:

• Film Noir (and noir style = not necessarily b&w)
• Femme Fatales
• Cheesecake (rather fond of the desert too) / Retro Pinup styles.
• Retro Lingerie (see above) 
• SF, Fantasy, Myths & Legends, Cosplay  (in this i have skills 2nd to none - ask me about it) 
• Period shoots (prehistoric to post apocalyptic) 
• Nature / Natural shoots (woods, body landscapes, etc.,) 
• Sheer, implied nude, art nude, artful rope work (I can tie Kinbaku and Shibari) 
• Bodypaint (i am quite a skiled artist - so it tends to be me painting and shooting - but only with a model I know/trust) 

but I am open to any ideas, especially if we can weave a story.

To me the story is everything and a picture should tell one

I will do tfp, part pay, or (when my meagre funds allow) some paid work (as in I pay the model;) , but only if the model is something I am particularly looking for. That does not necessarily mean world class looks, it means the model has an edge or a look that I can picture telling the story I want to paint. 

Types?

ooh that’s a tough one...

It has NOTHING to do with: age, size, shape, ethnicity, or even sex, or sexuality(although we all have our favourites, I am still human.... well mostly).

It’s has EVERYTHING to do all with what my head sees when I look at you.

Props:

I probably should have been a set dresser or prop maker, as mentioned I am very good with my hands and will make props or use whatever I can find to add to the setting (and story) . 
Be warned!
If you're talking to me about shoots, I will not just send you a simple pararaph saying "I want you in stockings on a brass bed". I will try to build a story into the shoot (Why are you just in stockings on a brass bed?) and make suggestions, bring items that will bring plausibility to it . 
I like to communicate with my models in writing and on the day, and am quite into splitting up shoots for breaks and to discuss the next part (and maybe even feed you, or at least water you)  not to become your best buddy, but to discuss what else we can do, how we can kick it up a notch, or how we can achieve some of your own goals too. (if the model is flexible with me, I am more than happy to be flexible with them and throw in some personal shots ) 
The idea is to have fun and create something special 

Availability 

Unfortunately, due to my work, and other pastimes, availability is limited: although if I do shoots, they tend to be at least 3 hours, plus setup times, discussions and set/story creation. (I don’t like to just turn up, shoot, leave) 

Editing 

My edit times are "as I get time", I don’t like to rush anything, especially the creative process.

So, if you're expecting a quick turn around of images so you can post them on your SM next week. Please look elsewhere. 

Ownership

If I pay you for a shoot, I am paying for your time and my images. If the model is flexible, and a pleasure to work with (and not in a diva in a rush) I am more likely to offer some images back, if they want them.
I do not heavily watermark (just my logo in a corner). 
I am not overly possessive and quite willing to discuss / possibly hand over images (even a whole shoot)  if it helps you out too (and is worth my while) 

if there is time, and the model is willing, I am also possibly happy to follow up with a social call to go through the set and discuss images on an individual basis, (especially if it is liable to work towards a follow up mutual shoot or project) I am all for building (working) relationships with a model for a common goal and long term projects.

Obviously tfp and part pay / part trade are different beasts and need to be discussed on an individual basis.

On Fees 

I realise for many this is their only source of income, but please remember I am not a professional photographer! I make no money from this and in order to acheive your fee, I have had to work hard to earn it (for some of you I have to work 5 hours +  to pay for one of yours). If its a weekday, I am probably giving up a days pay to get the time on top of that. Plus whatever I am spending on the day. 

All just for the love of what I do, and to hopefully make an image that I can be proud of
