Abie Fatty Stratford - March 2019

Abie is a good friend and aspiring model and actress ( @abiefatty) and she brings both skills to the camera. We had planned on a location shoot around QE2 Park, but the British weather had other ideas, so we made do with an impromptu shoot in her apartment. Which even then was a challange with the limited space (even after a quick tidy) and the sun already dropping in front of us on her small balcony. But we did our best with what we had. Abie was the mistress of the quick change artist (7 sets in just under 2 hours) and I ducked dived, crawled and slid around the small floor in an attempt to keep her in frame while eliminating unwanted background trash; swinging lights around to try and comba near full on daylight in front of us. Abie was a dream to work with! She threw herself into every change, and we both had a lot of laughs along the way, almost at the detriment of the shoot at one point. I have left a couple of those shots in: As they may not be my best work (by a long shot) but the life and joy in her smile and laugh was too great to leave them on the editing floor.  We are already talking about when we can get together again in a studio or location shoot and do it all again properly.
