It was delightful to see and work with Charlie again at The Monkey Sanctuary studio in Warrington.

Mal (Cheeky Monkey) managed a shoot, and Charlie was a big help and assisted a lot during the shoot, making my work much easier.

Highly recommend her as she is a nice person and also a creative makeup artist.

I had a shoot today where Charlie was booked as the MUA and it was my first time meeting Charlie.

Charlie was very communicative and reassuring on what they were doing makeup wise, asking me what I’m okay with and what I’m not okay with, very talkative which was really lovely so there was none of those awkward silences. As well as be super skilled, Charlie was eager to learn more about my hair type and listened to suggestions made by myself and really wanting to cater to me. Being a mixed race women myself with textured hair, it can be quite daunting having people try and do my hair as often, people don’t listen or simply don’t cater for me leaving me feeling a certain type of way but Charlie made it an enjoyable process and I loved their eagerness to want to learn more which should be something everyone should strive for in this industry!! As well as being an incredible and professional MUA, they were super helpful giving me a hand with tricky outfits, ensuring my privacy and just overall an absolute ANGEL ♥

Charlie came and did the make up for three models I had booked to come to RC At The Studio for a creative day.

A very talented make up artist. Great Comms, before the shoot, and made sure she had a good idea of who the models where and looks to do.

On the day she was dead on time. Her make up was amazing.

All three models were very complementary about Charlie, as a professional, and her make up skills.

Am now in discussions for a couple of future shoots both as creative ideas and beauty shots.

I've met Charlie a couple of times prior to today and had been the mua for my creative event i ran 2 years ago. She is super talented and professional. One thing I noticed was the models were all so happy with the final results. When she done my makeup today, I was really pleased and I'm sure this will be reflected in the images. Whenever I come up with my crazy ideas, the amazing Lipstickhorror is there to help me bring them to life and that’s exactly what they did at my at my Monkey Sanctuary Studio in Warrington yesterday. Pre shoot comms are always prompt and informative. Charlie not only ensures all materials required are readily available on the day, but they also went the extra mile on route to the studio to get some last minute props I’d forgotten. Charlie had the journey from hell courtesy of public transport but persevered to make sure they arrived to ensure the shoot went as planned.

I met Charlie for the first time on a body paint shoot with CheekyMonkey1 and i really hope it won't be the last time working with this incredible MUA.

Charlie is an incredible MUA and absolutely smashed the look right out of the park. With it being a body paint look that we were going for, it can be quite close contact and Charlie made sure to be respectful all throughout. Charlie is such a lovely person, caring and 100% a safe person to be around.

First time working with Charlie and she’s a lovely bubbly person, got along straight away had some laughers, some tickles as I was getting my body painted. But overall, she smashed the body paint and her lovely art work came alive.

Charlie was early on time, she makes sure everything was prepped out before I came, so it shows she was ready to start work.

She’s a caring woman as she made sure that I was comfortable and warm so thanks for the towel for my cold feet.

Definitely recommend Charlie, until next time.

Would love to do some horror scary make-ups in the future.

I met Charlie today for the first time on a body paint themed shoot I had organised with a photographer. Charlie was an absolute pleasure to work with and be around. From when I arrived she greeted me with a lovely smile introducing herself. Charlie was very respectful whilst applying product ensuring my comfort, explaining the procedure of applying the body paint. Charlie was also extremely helpful throughout the shoot with paint touch ups, moving my hair etc and even assisted the photographer with lighting. Booked Charlie to do make up for a fun shoot with my wife as the model, the first time either of us had worked with an MUA. They immediately put us at ease and did a great job producing varied looks from fashion to horror. They were able to take our outline ideas and efficiently turn them into great, original results as well as actively working during the shoot to make sure everything was perfect and lending a hand with holding props etc.

Would certainly be happy to work with Lipstick Horror again and recommend them to other photographers and studios looking for a professional creative.

Another fantastic experience working with the amazing Lipstick Horror providing make up and body paint looks and support throughout the afternoon, this time working on a ‘Two bumps are better than one’ maternity them at my Darwen Studio. As always, pre shoot comms were perfect. Charlie battled constantly with various travel challenges determined to get to the studio which she did after keeping me updated throughout with progress.
