Hello! I am Charlie, a Merseyside based Makeup artist/ assistant. I provide all aspects of make up from natural to full on gore, I also stay whole shoot to provide makeup touch ups and to assist you.
💙Why do I need a makeup artist when models can do their own makeup?💙
Having a makeup artist can help take some stress away from the day by helping out and giving models a rest. Makeup done by Lipstickhorror is of a higher standard than most models. I can also provide different styles of makeup as well as body paint, period makeup, technical looks, uv paints, male grooming, SFX and more. I stay for the whole shoot and can provide makeup touch ups or even changes to whole other looks…. Yes even if you want 3 body-paint looks in one day or 6 zombies, I’m your girl! also assist on every shoot.
🩷What do you mean by assistant?🩷
I like to be there for the whole shoot to help in any way needed. To adjust the models outfit, tuck in any labels, help fix hair, carry camera equipment, hold lights, make sure everyone is comfortable and most importantly…. Making cups of tea.
It can often be nice to have an impartial third party there especially when shooting art nude or working with a model/ photographer for the first time. Sometimes models feel like they can’t say when they feel uncomfortable, so I am there to make sure everyone is happy and well looked after.
