I had such a fun shoot today with Lauren at Spitfire Studios. Lauren is naturally very pretty and has a lovely nature. This was a joint shoot with ME Photography and Lauren had to work extra hard posing for both of us. She brought along a good selection of outfits and I am really pleased with the images. Number 6 is in the Bag! As good as all the rest, Lauren just keeps getting better and better. I love the hair, the poses, the fashion, the style, the complete 'Look'. I can't wait to go through the images and see what we managed to create this time! I understand Lauren has a bit more time available at the moment.....grab her (not literally) while you can. Just completed my 4th shoot with Lauren and I have to say she just gets better and better! Effortless posing, fun, energetic and totally affable, Lauren is a delight to work with from start to finish. I love the way she poses on set and she always puts the effort in to create shapes and show off the fashion. Lauren is great company and easy going, so much so that after 4 shoots I am looking forward to number 5! Needless to say, I can't recommend Lauren highly enough, I really do believe she should be modelling full time. She has the energy, dynamism and ability to succeed. Book her, you will not be disappointed.

I had so much fun shooting with Lauren-Joy - on location in Ross-on-Wye town centre - on a slightly overcast, occasionally sunny Monday morning.

Pre-comms had been concise, efficient and friendly. Lauren-Joy is a very experienced, busy full time professional model, I'm a fairly inexperienced amateur photographer, but she gave our shoot all of her energy, enthusiasm and creativity. She treated it like the most exciting shoot ever, worked really hard to get the best pictures and seemed genuinely thrilled by the back of camera images.

Highly recommended for her natural beauty, her modelling experience / professionalism and above all, her utterly contagious joyfullness!

Had an amazing shoot today with Lauren Joy. Punctual, make up perfect, excellent communication leading up to the shoot. Lauren was full of energy, please don’t ask her to twirl 😂 she won’t stop lol. Nothing was too much for Lauren and was totally professional while still bringing so much fun to the shoot. I was accompanied by another photographer and Lauren was so patient switching between numerous looks to suit us both.

If you get the chance then make sure you book her. You won’t be disappointed.

Lauren is extremely easy to work with and is a natural in front of the camera.

She combines a sense of fun with a very positive attitude and is able to flow effortlessly with freestyle posing or to happily take direction.

The thought of working with Lauren, seems to get everyone’s creative juices flowing, and is it any wonder why, this young lady has it all going on .... after working with Lauren late 2018, I knew she’d be perfect for a portraiture lighting workshop, with her beautiful long blonde hair, those gorgeous big eyes, and luscious lashes, and her flawless skin, what more could anybody ask of a model, when with Lauren, you have such a beautiful canvas for your art. As soon as I booked the workshop, and advertised Lauren was the model, the event sold like hot cakes, and we had a smash sell out day, not just because of the popularity of the genre of workshop, but because it was Lauren’s attendance that helped make up the photographers minds.

Lauren and I chatted loads about the event, I gave her a long list of clothing, I’d like her to bring, very very unlikely any model has 25% on the list, but Lauren pretty much brought it all, bless her. Lauren arrived at the station, nice and early, allowing us time to get to the studio, discuss the day’s events, apply her makeup, and most importantly, get the kettle on !!!!

Lauren connected beautifully, with each and every photographer, she was kind, caring and considerate to our newbies, which is always a HUGE positive on any Workshops, Lauren’s smile always makes everyone else smile, and releasing that many endorphins, with that many photographers, what more could we want ? The entire event was a massive success, everyone enjoyed Lauren’s company, there was smiles and laughter throughout the day, and so much positive feedback, on what an amazing model she was, I was so happy I’d chosen Lauren for my workshop, and I’m 100% sure you, I will be using Lauren left right and centre, as I’m super proud to announce that Lauren has agreed to join the PoZer’s team, with Helen Diaz, Scarlett Blaze, Jessica Taylor and Twinkle Nose, as PoZer’s in house model, I was so delighted when she agreed, it’s made my year so far :):) This doesn’t restrict Lauren in anyway, it just means if you book Lauren at PoZers, I create a fabulous package for you, for hiring us both !!! :):) This young lady is going places, so please, please book her now and work with this amazing young lady, I really believe she’s going to be a HUGE name in The industry, the name on the tip of your tongue, and the name passing through everyone’s lips, LAURENJOY..... you read it here, work with her and you’ll get exactly what I mean !!!! This was my first shoot with Lauren and she was great. She is great fun to work with, very professional and looks great in front of the camera.

It was an outdoor shoot and very cold but this did not stop her giving 100% to the shoot.

A second shoot with Lauren, even better than the brilliant first. Fun, enthusiastic, engaging, captivating and alluring, Lauren is an absolute delight to work with. We had so much fun and while the time flew by, we created some great images which I can't wait to go through. We will let Xmas and the New Year pass, and then onto a third shoot. I can't recommend Lauren highly enough.

Take in the Alps

I absolutely love working with Lauren. Well before our studio shoot at Pozers, and having worked with her before, I was getting ideas for the shoot that came to me like visions. And that really was illuminating; insightfully telling me that she has everything I need to create work which will fulfil me. Lauren is such an extraordinary mix of qualities: humble and down to earth ... and utterly likeable; so beautiful and enigmatic that all my favourite film actors from the Golden age of the screen -Hayworth, Bardot, Dietrich et all - are constantly being called to mind when I picture her, when I'm shooting with her and when I'm editing the shots. Her beauty possesses the kind of stillness that makes her an ideal model for photography. That quality along with the awe inspiring radiance and spiritual grace that she brings to fashion puts her at the very top of my list of favourite models. In writing this and reflecting on her talents I realise that to date I have merely scratched the surface of what we might be capable of creating together. That's a very exciting thought for me. It tells me that this highly skilled model will be instrumental in shaping my aesthetic over the coming years. It allows me to plan my shoots in great detail because I now know how capable Lauren is of delivering any images, mood, expression and narrative I am looking to achieve. And that such a journey will bring with it the kind of freedom to explore I so enjoy. For it's also the surprises on the way that make working with Lauren such an artistic feast. Discovering new artistic ground with her is inevitable because she also loves exploring new terrain. She's both fearless and playful. Something which was noticeable when we worked with a backdrop I'd painted and the bare wooden boards of a bed I used to create a set in the studio. Her spontaneous and exploratory nature enabled us to create a rich array of imagery with these elements. The resulting shots spoke of not just a bed but suggested other spaces: nightclubs; urban; grunge; nightlife in a city. How Lauren created this environment with her gestures, movement and expression was further enhanced by changing the lighting. This really showed me that so much great material could be arrived at by giving her the liberty to creatively respond to a set. It doesn't really get better than that as far as I am concerned. How do you thank a model who absolutely nails everything you can conceive - your widest dreams - and at the same time brings so much more to the table; the huge satisfaction in the face of an artistic process that purrs along nicely coupled with the shared delight in making the work. So thank you Lauren. Thank you for being the burning, brilliantly talented model you are and the warmhearted, lovely, humble person you never stray from being. Cue punching the air and eyes welling up with the sheer emotion of it all ... the grand passion of making art with someone you really like! Happy Christmas Lauren. At least you'll read this even if everyone else misses it whilst succumbing to the turkey. See you in the new year. Can't wait. Very excited for what comes next.

What can I say about this fabulous young lady ? WOW to start with. When one of my wonderful friends, who's also a photographer, booked Lauren at PoZer's, after already working with her on location, a few months ago, and he was so thrilled with their shoot together, he had to bring her to PoZer's to meet me, and what a blast we had. Lauren's portfolio already speaks volumes about this young ladies raw beauty, her charisma, her flawless skin, her beautiful makeup, her gorgeous hair, she's just born to be a model, she's a complete natural. Just by her portfolio alone, you should book Lauren, but oh my goodness, when you do book her, you will want to do it all over again and again, because she's even more amazing in the flesh, she lit up the studio, with her glowing personality, her bubbly, fun nature made the shoot, a dream, from start to finish, Lauren has a fab sense of humour, making us all laugh, so much, that before we knew it, the 4 hours just flew by. Before the shoot had even ended, Jim was already laying down the plans for our next shoot together, because the whole time we were shooting, we just kept coming up with more and more ideas, our creativity just flowed with Lauren, and yours will too, this young lady is so quirky and creative, you will love every minute of your shoot together. Please don't let the lack of references on her portfolio put you off, this young lady is already heading towards being the "Next Big Name" in modelling... So remember her name... Because if you don't book her, you will live to regret it, because before long, shes going to be the name on the tip of every photographers tongue, trust me. When Jim was shooting Lauren, she really, really reminded me of a young Kate Moss, her stance, her presence, her strength in posing, her fashion look, the only difference is, Lauren's even more beautiful, and I think this glorious young lady, is going to the top of the modelling hierarchy, so don't miss out on this young lady's raw talent, before long you won't be able to book her at all. Lauren blew me away that much, that I have asked her to be my new portrait and fashion model, for all my teaching workshops at PoZer's, with her look and passion for modelling, I know she's the perfect model to work with new photographers, plus I know that as soon as they work with her, they will book her again, time after time, and before long, she will be gridlocked with bookings, so I am getting in there first, and plan on booking Lauren throughout 2019, for my workshops and creative group shoots, PoZer's has struck Gold with this stunning young lady, so watch this space... move over Kate Moss.. Lauren Joy is kickin arse... and then some... than k you so much Lauren, for a fabulous shoot, and I am really excited about our future collaborations in 2019 darling. :):):):):)

Zoom Out

I had a great shoot with Lauren today randomly driving around the Hereford countryside. Despite the cold, she was a trooper and I'm really pleased with the images we took. Lauren is a natural and her modelling is very graceful and elegant. She came up with some really cool poses and expressions that perfectly suited my ideas. She brought along a ton of great clothing to choose from and her hair and make up was perfect. She was also very open minded and patient with my more odder ideas which I really appreciated. I'm excited to see where her modelling takes her.

Definitely book a shoot with Lauren! A professional, friendly and committed model who will brighten any portfolio.

Lauren bounced into the studio and didn't stop moving all shoot. She is a bundle of energy in a beautiful form. We covered a number of different lighting set ups and shooting styles and she was as happy taking direction as she is posing free flow.

Very well prepared for the shoot with suitable clothing, beautiful nails, make-up and hair. Lauren is relaxed, happy, talkative and humorous on set until the lights begin to flash and she goes to work. Oodles of enthusiasm, determination and perseverance.

I am absolutely delighted with the results we achieved and now have so many ideas for future shoots. Very highly recommended indeed.

Take in the Alps

Wow what a shoot. I feel so creatively fulfilled after that! Sometimes a great model can really show you the direction you want to take with your work. And Lauren is a very fine model. When everything goes your way on a shoot - the weather; the clothes fit; no one's late; you remembered your camera, lol - who do you thank? Well I'd say that it's probably down to the model. I have a feeling that even in a snow storm and wearing a summer dress Lauren would be having a great time. I guess the secret's hidden in her name ... Laurenjoy ... she's a wonderfully uplifting, joyous soul. I revelled in her exuberance, her sense of fun, passion for work, relish in working at full tilt, and commitment to the shot. All these qualities of hers enabled me to really be myself and be at my best. All of my ideas and directions were met with great enthusiasm and immediately turned into gestures, poses and expressions that were compelling, engaging and really quite extraordinary. Boy ... can this woman act! I have never taken better shots than these. My camera looks like a bountiful glut of awe inspiring images... like a photographer's dream come true.

I'm so excited about what we created. Being a painter I now have some beautiful material to work from. Can't wait to start painting her: there's so much depth to her character and she is humble despite her stellar beauty and high level of professional achievement. There's also much wisdom and a great deal of sensitivity in this highly talented young woman.

We started in the sun, sea and sand of Weston. All was going fantastically well until a woman interrupted our work with some decidedly aggressive questioning. Yes it was one of those members of the public moments that we all dread. Lauren handled her with ease despite the harassment. We ended up walking away to an even better location, laughing as we went and celebrating the fact that we had escaped from what could have been a very nasty situation. How we were rewarded for not confronting her! The rest of the shoot was pure joy and we even invited other passers by to step into our shoot. A Basset hound called Murphy came with his owner who very kindly let his dog become part of our set. Lauren loves dogs so she was in heaven. It was a lovely moment and showed me another delightful side of Lauren that I really enjoyed capturing. Suddenly everything felt real, meaningful and joined to the rest of the world; strangers were now just lovely people instead of potential threats. I felt so complete at the end of the shoot and Lauren seemed to feel the same way because we both spontaneity punched the air and leapt up and down in celebration.

I have a feeling that Lauren is now my go too model. But hey, I know you'll all want to work with her too. I can't recommend her highly enough .., when you see the images you'll know what I mean! Thank you Lauren for a blooming great day that I'll never forget. I'm still smiling ... and sometimes laughing at the wonderful time we had.
