I came back to the studio for another studio day recently and Andy was helpful as ever, picking me up from Milton Keynes Station.

I really wish this studio was closer to me, it is easily one of my faves with so many versatile sets to work with and a variety of furniture as well as outfits available. So many possibilities to shoot and Andy is always on hand to help as much or as little as needed.

I highly recommend Kempston, as always. :)

After a busy day at work I've had an amazing time in Kempston Studio (as always).. arriving there is just like arriving at home: I'm always received in a very friendly manner. Andy is always prepared to receive me with a big smile. Although I was photographed by another photographer this time, and Andy was very helpful throughout the All shoot. We've been doing different experiences with fire and warm water. This experiences I'll never forget, because we never forget the ones who treat us with kindness. I always recommend KS and Andy.

My First shoot at Kempston and i have to say had a fantastic time, Andy was very helpful and offered help in anything you want setting up. he did a tour guidance of what was available, too much for one shoot. Loura Mae was my model and was very comfortable so he must be doing something right very helpful.

Looking forward to my second shoot as soon as i get a space in my calendar. wish you were closer

This is the second time I and Rob Harley have attended a model day at Kempston Studio together. Andy was very welcoming and helpful on both occasions, setting up lighting and sets as we wanted them. He would prepare the next scenario whilst we were working with the previous one and so made the shoot run smoothly and efficiently.

I would certainly recommend the studio to any photographer and especially to those not experienced in using a professional studio.

My second shoot at Kempston, this time for Lottii Rose's studio day, and another great experience. The studio space is remarkably flexible with and Andy's just such a great help - setting up lighting, rearranging set-ups, and providing advice. Definitely recommended.

This was my first time at Kempston Studio and it certainly won't be the last. There is so much variety in the way of different sets that you could easily spend a week there and probably not have covered everything. Andy was extremely helpful in showing me the possibilities at the beginning and also during the shoot itself. But more of that later.

For this 2 hour session I stuck with the Blue set as it fits with a theme I have going on this year. Initial set up was a beach type table with the model pouring a cocktail - complete with slice of plastic lemon. It's the little things that matter! We moved from that to a deckchair, and various other combinations all in that one space. I could have continued for hours.

And so to Andy. He is an absolute star. Nothing is too much trouble for him with regard to set up, and he offered a possible solution for something I intend doing in another shoot later this year, for which I am grateful. He even managed to repair the hot shoe on my spare camera for me!

All in all, I highly recommend this place and will certainly be back. Thank you so much, Andy.

My first time at Kempston for a two hour studio shoot and I would highly recommend.

In the studio there is a huge number of different sets and backgrounds that can be used. Andy, the owner, will set these up in a couple of minutes along with the usual array of lighting including an LED light wall. Andy was also on hand with friendly advice and suggestions on the lighting set up when requested, not to mention the odd cup of tea between sets.

The studio is easy to get to by car a short way from the main route into Bedford from the motorway.

I will certainly be back again and cannot recommend highly enough.

It was my first time shooting at Kempston Studio and honestly, it was a great experience.

A variety of settings, props, backdrops and lighting so it is well equipped to cater to any needs to express creativity.

Oh and Andy, the studio owner, makes amazing cups of tea! 😊

Can't wait to come back there in May!

Another superb model day with Roxy M at Kempston Studio. Andy, the studio owner, manager and chief grip is always on hand to help and set things up, give ideas (if needed) and is the perfect host. Love the studio; always a pleasure; always great fun. Thank you Andy!

My second visit yesterday, shooting with stunning Roxy M. The studio is a fabulous workplace with a multitude of sets and enough props to meet the needs of any photograper.

Andy is a great host/owner there to help with set-ups and lighting and then disappears to let you work with your model.

In a convenient location with easy parking, Kempston is a jem of a studio that I will be using very often in the future.

My first shoot at Kempston Studio yesterday.

It is an hour and three quarters away from me, so it was a long day with 4 hrs there.

One of my models had strongly recommended I try it but previously the distance had been a challenge.

Let’s get this straight: IT WAS WORTH IT.

Andy, the host, was superb, and the studio itself although not the largest was truly clever in the way he has maximised the space with movable walls, room settings, garden setting, backlit windows and much more.

And more to the point, Andy can change the settings for you in moments and the big bonus … he is a very easy to understand teacher …. Nothing is too much trouble.

I learned a lot yesterday, and am booked to return there already.

Had such an awesome experience, shooting at Kempston Studios with Kate Stardoll modelling on a Studio Day.

Communication prior do the shoot was excellent as I provided him details of what theme and idea I had on the day.

Arrived at the studio to a warm greeting by Andy and was shown over the facilities and equipment in was are absolute top notch! Andy is a top bloke! He brought a few items and bits of clothing as props for the shoot. And he even helped with setting up my camera, as well as gave some great times for shooting in manual! Had great conversations with him & Kate, and he even offered drinks and food. And allowed me to assist in setting up the backdrops and adjusting the lighting!

Will definitely be coming back here in the future! Huge recommendation for Andy and his studio(as well as Kate)!

I had a great shoot at Kempston. For work reason I need to swap my shooting slot. Andy was very quick and contacted the other photographer to rearrange. I am very grateful for that. It is a wonderful studio with a lot of sets available. If you need a studio, don't hesitate to book Kempston.

This was my first visit to the studio and first studio day there and I was very impressed. The organisation of the day was excellent, the support from Andy invaluable and the set up was great.

As soon as I got to the studio I felt at home there, the dressing room is great, with extra clothes and accessories should you require them. The shooting areas were great and varied with lots of different furniture, lighting options and backdrops. I highly recommend this studio and already planing my second studio day there.

I had my 1st shoot at Kempston studio today shooting with model Theresa Louise,

I arrived at the studio and was given a warm welcome and shown around the studio by Andy ( owner )

Nothing was too much trouble for Andy, If I needed anything moving, setting up or lighting Andy was happy to help if needed or was happy for me to use his equipment or studio as I pleased,

I was show all the set ups I could use by images, and as sets on walls were on hinges, the studio could be changed or altered to your needs

Andy is a great coffee maker as well and made endless supplies during my shoot, Part the way through my shoot there was an unfortunate 20 min power cut but this did not dampen our spirits,

Andy had battery lighting and we made the most of our time, had some laughs and created some amazing images,

I would recommend Kempston studio to all photographers and models that will treat it and its equipment with respect,

I had a great photo shoot at Kempston Studio, my first shoot of this year 2023. Andy was a superstar in assisting me change backdrops on all of the sets, lighting and always on-hand to offer cracking tips to make sure I got the best shot.

Its a fantastic studio, with lots of equipment, lights, backdrops, sets and the beverages were super too. I had a truly great time, and I look forward to shooting there again very soon.

Back for my second studio day at this fab studio recently, and greeted by Andy straight away who helped me in with all my luggage and offered my a cuppa!

I love this studio, there's so many different outfits and props to use as well as so many different sets that mean there are just endless opportunities for so many different types of shots and a day just isn't enough to take full advantage of it all that's for sure!!

Andy is a great host, there to supply drinks and food whenever needed and he's happy to stay out the way if not needed by right there if anyone needs a hand with lighting etc. He also kept me up to date with the bookings so I knew who booked in when which is super helpful.

Had a really fun day, the time just flew by and I will definitely be back again sometime that's for sure, thanks again for a great day and I look forward to the next time! :D

HOW CAN I DO THIS REFERENCE JUSTICE AFTER ANDY'S INCREDIBLE REFERENCE TO ME HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...

I walk in and straight away spot my favourite chocolates...Num num num...

I keep returning to do studio days here...I am like a yoho on steroids...Why do I keep returning...because Andy and his studio are top notch...

I cannot describe how amazing it is here...You really do need to go to see...

Andy is always on hand when you need him and disappears when you don't...

One thing I absolutely love about Andy is his positive attitude, no matter what you are trying to achieve Andy will make sure it works...

I am very comfortable here and I go away with a smile on my face...

Andy is constantly making me laugh too...The photographer was doing a wet tshirt shot and I thought what the hell lets do this...Andy arrives with a massive bucket and says shall I? I was like ok then (without really giving it much thought)...Luckily he was just teasing me...I couldn't stop laughing...

Thank you soooooooooooooooooooo much for such a good studio day...

My first shoot at this studio, which is quite a long way from home, but the drive was worth it. Andy has packed a lot into the studio and created some moveable walls so that sets can be changed very quickly. He was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I am looking forward to another shoot here in a couple of weeks. I definitely recommend Andy and his studio.

BLOWN AWAY!!!!!! by this studio ,

So i noticed this studio "kempston " keep popping up on all these models insta pages and i was like , where is this . So its , bedford... 3. 5 hrs away .

So i thoguht , lets open up two days , and run all the way through to make the journey profitable and allow for free spaces...

Well, within a couple of weeks id SOLD OUT and had already booked in another weekend which had almost done the same ! I mean i hadnt even finsihed my coffee and off Andy went with his promotion. It was very fast , so i was approaching the studio with high expectations...

Everything , pre comms and everything totally managed by Andy .

I get to the studio , i walk in and my mouth drops . Wow!!!! We could have some fun here. The amount of diversity the studio offers is incredible . And the quality of the setups is amazing. You could only dream of shooting a model in a mansion with the level of interior it would offer ..yet Andy has hand crafted his displays to reflect just that , saving you an absolute fortune! Plus - HE IS SOO incredibly hands on and helpful and clever! There was no problem that couldn't be solved and any ideas the photographers had, he instantly knew what to do.

The rate of the studio is incredibly reasonable and by far the BEST equipped studio in my 10 years or so of modelling ! with the studio owners support and expertise , i can only begin to imagine what could be created.

Mind BLOWN !!!! absolutely!!!

Oh , and for the models , Andy has a shower, a perfect dressing room with everything you could want, he keeps the place warm, has kitchen facilities and literally everything you could want and need as a model (well- except for paracetamol) but no doubt the next time i come he will !
