Katie was working as a makeup artist on a recent 'Egyptian' themed Portrait X shoot in Virginia Water. She created some fabulous looks on the models, with hints of Ancient Egypt running through the styling. A hard-working, polite and passionate MUA, her attention to detail and technical expertise made for some wonderful images. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending her to other creatives and professionals.

Katie did an amazing job of my makeup for the 'Jekyll and Hyde' Portrait X shoot at Crossness Pumping station. It was originally going to be done by a different makeup artist but she ended up taking over due to timing and did a wonderful job despite not having planned for it at all! She is very gentle and professional and even did some styling on my hair that suited the theme. I highly recommend her and hope I get to work with her again.

I had the pleasure of working with Katie on a shoot this evening and it was brilliant. Katie applied through a casting I put out to create half skull make-up for a skull themed portrait shoot.

The make-up she created for the shoot was amazing, so detailed and beautifully done, she is a very talented make-up artist, very professional, lovely to be around and very considerate towards me as her model, asking if I needed a break or if she was putting too much pressure on my skin - little things but very important :)

I would highly recommend Katie to any team, shes awesome.

I've wanted to work with Katie for some time so was thrilled when we got the chance to shoot two looks, both with difficult intense make up which Katie nailed! She needed very little direction and managed to get the look we had in mind spot on, and was really useful with ideas to make sure we had created something unique.

I worked with Katie for the second time yesterday - this time with the lovely Lulu Lockhart. Katie was brilliant in both make up and hair styling and created the looks for each theme perfectly - in fact so good that sometimes it felt I was working with a different model for each of the themes - Grecian, art deco and avant garde! Katie is such a lovely person, her pre-shoot communication is excellent, she is quiet and efficient, easy to work with and she co-operates brilliantly with model and photographer. Not only that but Katie decorated two hats pre-shoot which together with make-up and styling ensured the avant garde part of the shoot was truly stunning. Thank you so much, Katie. Highly recommended to all photographers and hopefully we can work together again before too long.

I had the pleasure of working with Katie for the second time today. We'd planned 3 different looks for our model (WhiteRabbitAlice) Communications pre shoot were excellent. Katie's satnav led her a merry dance to get to me, but she arrived with a smile, checked what we were doing first, then worked rapidly to translate my vague concepts into exactly the right look for each set. She's friendly, fun and talented. She's happy to pitch in with the shoot and help well outside her MUA duties. The range of looks she created today alone are a testament to her skill. I know Alice was impressed with her work

Katie responded to a casting call about a month before the shoot and had great pre shoot communication. I gave her carte blanche to do as she wished with the make up and I was very happy with the results. She was also in direct communication with the model before the shoot to ensure she was ready to be made up.

She arrived on time and she stayed for the duration of the shoot and helped out. She even offered some great suggestions for poses to get more out of the props we had made.
