Had a really good remote shoot with Karen. We covered a lot of ground. Preparation and comms pre-shoot was very clear and Karen was polite, friendly and a pleasure to work with. Karen is a talented photographer and has produced some outstanding work from the shoot. Highly recommended.

I got a chance to work with Karen on a highly stylised and very creative group (paint and glitter) shoot event that she had organised. Unfortunately the studio that was used was not wheelchair accessible, but Karen, with the help of one of the models at the event (Vampire Princess), ensured that I could take part in the shoot remotely from my own apartment.

I am a great admirer of Karen's work and so to get the the opportunity to be be part of one of her events was fantastic. I got so many stunning images.

As well as been an incredible photographer and very creative, Karen is a lovely person, great fun with a wicked sense of humour and an infectious laugh and I would love the opportunity to work on a Karen Smalley shoot again.

Thanks for a great shoot Karen - much appreciated.

My first time shooting with this very creative Lady.

When Karen has an idea, it reacts like an itch that need to be scratched.

The Paint & Glitter ‘itch’ was the Event I attended and was the first of 2020 (and its August!) and it was an Event well worth the wait.

Starting early in the Morning and lasting all day, it was amazing fun with all parties being absolutely amazing & professional.

I will most definitely be on the lookout for further shoots organised by this very talented lady.

The Attic Studio

Great to have Karen back at the studio, this time for a long creative shoot. Well planned and well executed.

Once we ran through the new way to operate we could pretty much leave everyone to shoot. Whenever asked we would alter backdrops, lights etc. By the sound of things it was a great and very relaxed shoot.

Good to see you again Karen and no doubt see you soon. Thanks for the booking.

I worked with Karen again last week when she booked onto mine and Kay Morgan’s vintage inspired duo studio day at Far Forest Studio.

It was only the second time I’d worked with Karen but you wouldn’t have thought that to hear us all. The morning was full of chatter and laughter, it’s amazing that we got anything other than outtakes in camera.

But we certainly did! Karen has been kind enough to share images from the shoot with me and they are just gorgeous!

I’d recommend Karen to other models without hesitation and I hope to work with her again soon for more giggles :) Thanks so much Karen!

It was lovely having Karen shooting here for her first time recently with Vampire Princess and photography partner Terry.

Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun and enjoyed using studio spaces and facilities on offer, so much so, that they are all set to return soon. Images that I've seen uploaded so far from the shoot look great and I really like Karens photographic style.

Karen joined myself and Vampire Princess on an urbex shoot today, communication was spot on as always

a delight to work with Karen is very easy to work with, she has a good eye for shots and always lets you know when you are doing it right, which from a models perspective is the encouragement you need to either smash it or change it.

I always love Karens pics and the ones I saw today back of camera looked amazing, especially the first set. Cant wait to see the finished versions.

Karen joined us on our Norse Dragon Armoury Group Shoot on the Saturday Afternoon.

Karen had just come back from her holiday in Africa, so I was blown away when she arrived raring to go - I would have needed a week off to recover from the jet lag and holiday-blues!

Karen came completely prepared for the bad weather, and soldiered through the low temperatures, wind and rain for as long as she possibly could. In the time she spent with us, she got some truly beautiful shots (if she says otherwise, don't believe her! She's far to critical on herself ♥) and she had some wonderful ideas.

I have a huge amount of respect for Karen - she is a talented photographer with a heart of gold, has a great sense of humour, and is a beautiful woman inside and out.

I always look forward to working with her, so can not wait till next time! Highly recommend from me once again!

Time to give Karen a shout out and reference. Karen has used my studio a number of times not only to work with her models but also running her own model and creative days as well as attended a number of model days and workshops at my studio e.g. by myself and others.

Karen is a photographer that more than knows her way round a camera but she also knows what she wants to achieve and how to do it.

Shes always fun to be around and laughter follows her wherever she goes. Even when she's on location which I've been at a couple with her and its always a pleasure to be in her company.

I could go on and on singing her praises but I'll settle for this she is a creative fab respectful experience photographer that I recommend to anyone that is going to work with her.
