John responded and was selected for a casting for a paid commercial shoot and proved to be every bit the fabulous choice. Extremely professional and responsive in his communications prior to the job and throughout.

He arrived well prepared and on time. His looks, measurements and physique are exactly as per his profile and matched the client brief perfectly. The shoot was conducted in public, all-day in and around Bath city centre and venues, during which John was enthusiastic, calm, focussed and highly professional, working easily with and without direction from myself and input from other staff from the clothing brand.

Good to chat with, highly motivated and an all round top model. Without reservation, I would very happily work with John again anytime and recommend him 100%.

Arranged a shoot with john for the 15th of December, shooting stock for possible book cover use.

He’s an all round lovely guy and was very organised. Great to chat to on e-mail, arrived early and brought some great outfits. Very easy going and looked good in the modern and period outfits. He’s in really good shape which always helps, with the clothes.

He also worked well with 1hannahlou who joined us for a few hours for some couples images.

It’ll take me a while to go through and process them but I’m sure there are some great images.

Would highly recommend John for your project. Thanks again!

Mr Wood is an excellent sport. Myself and another photographer have been running our own little challenge series where we take it in turns to book the model and the other has no idea until they turn up at the shoot!

After turning up to see John with no comms or any idea who he would be (by design!) he was very enthusiastic and open to the challenge and introduced himself while being eager to crack on and develop some ideas. We spent some time before we started built up a plan for the shoot which went brilliantly. John is an amazing model with the patience of a saint - (I had technical issues with a corrupt memory card!) but he was professional throughout and we got some absolutely cracking images. Looking forward to working with him again in the future.

Hadn't shot with John for quite a while but again absolutely had a blast. John is so easy to get on with and a fantastic model who can turn his style to so many ideas. I wish we had the chance to shoot together more often and hoping to get a location shoot in with him at some point. Would absolutely recommend working with John if you get the chance.

Absolute pleasure to work with!

John is a wonderfully warm and enthusiastic person to work with. I found him eager to try poses that tested our on-location surroundings of strong rapid moving water amongst other things.

John had excellent pre comms and worked well to the moodboard provided as a guide. John quickly adapts to what is asked of him , and poses well with ideas of his own. John was highly professional throughout and very understanding to the difficulties our location presented.

My second shoot with John and very different from our first. I met him in Bristol and for this shoot we embraced secret agents and James Bond. Always a good place to get inspiration. All pre comms were fab and John arrived right on time suitably dressed as 007....He is great to work with, friendly and accommodating and always using my moodboard to ensure he was right on track. He is just lovely to work with and it was great to do something more fashion orientated with him this time. Thoroughly recommend him. :)

An absolute pleasure to work with and apart from being obviously fit John is very capable and with a great attitude, he is willing to give everything a go. John also understands that technical form doesn't always result in the perfect picture and is able to suggest and adjust as needed.

John came for a shoot today in response to a casting call I had put out. All pre comms were excellent and we discussed my creative ideas of which he was very interested and wanted to be part of. He arrived on time and ready for our shoot. He is such a lovely person and very easy to work with, taking direction well and getting into the groove of my creative concept. His 6'3" frame was a challenge for my 5' self, so we needed to employ a stool for him to sit on......:) Working through my ideas the shoot went very quickly and I would certainly like to work with him again, possibly on location as I feel he has a lot more to give. I would thoroughly recommend him and I look forward to shooting with him again sometime in the future.

I had the incredible pleasure and privilege of working with John this weekend.

It was a long and highly anticipated wait to what was a fantastic collaboration. John and I had great pre-shoot communications, he came well prepared with plenty of fashion items and was brilliant to work with.

The images we created are outstanding (and received a publication within 24 hours of our shoot).

Had my first shoot today with John at my home studio/Mews House. Pre-shoot communications were excellent, on route to the shoot, he regularly informed of his arrival time.

On arrival we instantly established a good rapport, ensuring a great shoot was going to take place. We chatted about the images we wanted to create and agreed a shoot pan, as John is very involved in swimming, biking and running, he has a great physique making him suitable for a very wide range of shoot styles.

John is so flexible and has a great attitude to creating great images, it is refreshing to work with someone with such a positive attitude about trying new ideas and demonstrating in past shoots he is quite happy to shoot in all weathers (-4C, in the snow by a lake in a pair of swimming trunks!!)…………highly recommended.

PoZers was honoured to host a fabulous duo shoot, with the phenomenal John, Helen Diaz and photographer, Robin French this week, and it was a great studio session. John arrived early to the shoot and ready to start straight away, with a wonderful selection of clothing, fitting the brief perfectly, for his duo, with our in-house Model, Helen Diaz. John had worked with Robin before, which was a great ice-breaker, at the start of the shoot and everyone soon relaxed and felt comfortable with one another. John is an amazing model, a true professional, which is obviously reflected in his portfolio, and his huge “brand named” advertising campaign shoots he’s been involved with. John made Helen feel comfortable straight away, this was Helens very first, tasteful, “boy-girl shoot”, so slightly daunting, connecting with a complete stranger, and acting affectionate and intimate, with someone you don’t know, so his ability to act, was astounding, remaining professional, throughout the entire shoot. John was really easy to get along with, the shoot was great fun, he built a great rapport with Helen and Robin, and the atmosphere was fun, relaxed and professional throughout. I can’t recommend John enough to anyone, from stylist, other models, photographers and studios, John is a pleasure to be around and a true dedicated professional whilst modelling, and behind the scenes. It was a total pleasure to have John at PoZers, and I hope our paths cross again one day, thank you John, total pleasure to host a shoot with you.
