I'm a professional photographer based just outside Bath – in a beautiful country house overlooking the Avon valley, near Bradford-on-Avon.  In the past few years, changing circumstances have encouraged me to devote more time to my creative interests – including wildlife photography and erotic fine art.

  

WANTON ATTITUDE

The word "wanton" was originally used to mean “wild”, “free” or “untamed”.  For centuries, authoritarian moralists have taught us to associate these ideas with wickedness and folly – but generations of free-thinking artists and poets have tended to encourage a more positive, optimistic interpretation.

I define a "wanton attitude" to sexuality as one that is "uninhibited, consensual, playful, flirtatious, loving, generous and joyful" and "wanton erotica" as artwork which seeks to express, celebrate and encourage these positive emotions and feelings.   It's aim is to create artwork that evokes feelings of erotic empathy with another person.  It's not about taking pleasure, but sharing it. 

That is the impression I hope to convey and encourage, through erotic photography. You will find examples of this approach throughout my portfolio and especially in the albums with "wanton" in the title!  I have also created a public collection, "Wanton Attitude", including inspirational images I've found on PP.
