Absolutely outstanding photographer as you can see from his port, he's professional and a top guy to work with.

Me and Julian have worked together twice now and I have really loved working with him

Julian knows his lighting well and of course knows how to get a beautifully lit photo, he has created some of my favourite images already

I worked with the talented Julian again recently at his studio alongside his lovely partner and had such a lovely shoot! Shooting with Julian is effortless- his lighting, direction and use of light and shade was perfect and very complimentary to the model. He truly captures you at your best!

We absolutely whizzed through various sets of Latex from my designer collection and Harnesses from Julians collection. I absolutely loved the results and really look forward to seeing the edits. Its no wonder that Julian is a Lecturer in photography- he really is what he says on the tin! :) A very kind, capable and humble person also for the talent he produces.

Thank You for such a lovely end to my tour- I was exhausted but it was so worth it! Thank You also to your wonderful partner for her kindness and hospitality and it was lovely to meet the family dog! :)

I had a brilliant time working with Julian and his students at BCU for one of his photography workshops. Pre-shoot comms were excellent - detailed yet concise. We discussed outfits beforehand so I knew exactly what to bring on the day.

Julian is friendly, professional and gave great directions when we got to shoot briefly for each set of lighting he set up for his students. The students themselves were respectful and talented - a pleasure to work with!

I highly recommend working with Julian and modelling for his workshops! :)

As you can see by his impressive selection of photos Julian is an immensely talented photographer. But not only that, he's an all round lovely human being. I have worked with him twice now and couldn't recommend more. Lovely seeing him teach students too. To our next shoot! :)

I shot with Julian and his students at BCU for their photography workshop. His students were a lovely and very talented group who I thoroughly enjoyed working with! I also got the chance to shoot with Julian himself, he gives great direction and his images are fantastic! I am already in discussion with some of his students about working with them again, and I am hoping I get to do a longer photography session with Julian himself.

I worked with the amazing Julian recently and had a blast! Our first shoot was rescheduled due to the snow and on the day of our shoot I had the most horrendous traffic driving up from Chippenham to Birmingham- but I made it! (Next time I have made a mental note to stay in the local area the evening before for sure!)

I arrived to Julian and the amazing MUA Natalie Wood- and a stunning collection of bespoke latex by Dead Lotus Couture and corsets by Jem Corsets. It was a girls dream! Latex is something in particular I have been meaning to explore but hadn't got around to as most of my work is beauty, fashion or nude, so it was such a treat to be provided with such a beautiful, creative and unique wardrobe!

Julian was very organised, kind, hospitable and understanding- an excellent communicator and fantastic at giving direction (photography is his day job and HE ROCKS!)

He kindly sourced the MUA and styling for the day and made the magic truly happen! The studio was a lovely space to use and although I am always a little nervous working with new people, I was made to feel very welcome. The Hair and Makeup was absolutely sublime and top quality.

The day vanished in a puff of smoke- full to the brim of wardrobe changes and Hair/Makeup changes- but SO enjoyable and a break from the norm of what I usually do.

Thankyou so much Julian for having me and REALLY looking forward to seeing the results from the day. Highly recommended to all and would love to work together again in the future, Helen x

I worked for Julian at one his workshops at the BCU. Everything was very well organised, pre-communication was excellent and all the details were sent up in front so plenty of time to organise travel, outfits etc. The day went great and I enjoyed working with Julian and his students. I would definitely recommend him and I hope we work again in a near future.

Julian booked me for his workshop at BCU . Julian pre communications were great , and I had a warm welcome . It was all explained to me what would happen and the session ran smoothly . We managed together for a few shots on the day , and Julian is just awesome . He knows his stuff , and always makes sure himself and his student produce amazing results . I was well looked after and felt comfortable throughout the day . I hope we can arrange a session to shoot 1-2-1 together soon . Jess x

I had my first shoot with Julian at his studio and it was just awesome!! He had some super cool latex and corsets from a designer for us to shoot which was wicked.

Julian is a really lovely guy who I felt totally comfortable with throughout. He had tons of ideas and changed the set up for each different set so we had a totally different look.

Julian is an amazing photographer as his work shows, but is also a really friendly and fun person to work with. Couldn't recommend any more! Can't wait to see the shots :)

I had a fab first shoot with Julian a few weeks ago.

Pre shoot comms were great and when I arrived I found that Julian had sourced some wonderful latex from two great designers for us to shoot.

Julian is great to work with - really easy going and laid back, creative and just a thoroughly nice chap! We shot several outfits and I love that each set has come out with it own look and feel to it. I love the edits and I can't wait to post them!

Very highly recommended and I hope we can shoot again someday.

I had the pleasure of shooting with Julian last week at the beginning of my Northern tour.

Both Julian and I sourced designer outfits from latex to corsets which was a nice change of pace for me! Julian and I worked through 5/6 sets in such a short time and I was really pleased with what I saw on the back of the camera!

I first worked with Julian about 4 years ago, so I felt that part 2 was well overdue! Once we'd found a date in our busy schedules, planning was quick and easy. The very talented KRG MUA came along to do my make-up and hair, and we raced through about 5 or 6 looks during the day! Julian is obviously one of the best photographers around, but is also a lovely guy and so easy to get on with. He also brought his beautiful dog to the studio which is always a bonus in my book! I couldn't be happier with the images and I really hope it isn't another 4 years until we shoot again. Highest recommendation.

I had the honour of shooting with fantastic photographer Julian and the beautiful Sinopa Rin in Birmingham yesterday. Julian was friendly, chatty, professional and chilled. I felt totally at ease and not rushed at all by Julian. I was a bit apprehensive about doing so many looks in the time we had however I feel that we nailed each look with time left over. I hope to work with Julian again soon!

Really happy I finally got the chance to work with Julian! He is so talented, creative and easy to work with. His studio was different to most I have worked in - we didn't use any props except for a chair but he had such cool backdrops they weren't necessary, and some he had even painted himself. I was also lucky enough to shoot some latex (a first for me) which was from Dead Lotus Couture - gorgeous stuff. Thank you for a fun shoot, can't wait to see your edits (:

Had the pleasure of working with Julian the end of last month.

I have wanted to work with Julian as soon as I started up my modelling page and I'm so glad i have got the chance too!

He is amazing!! He is a very talented photographer! Brilliant with light changes and making the pictures all look very different as well as wanted to change outfits, hair and make up regularly to get a good range of photos!

He is easy to get on with, good communication and goes through the outfits he wants to shoot for the day and what styles so everything is organised :)

I had the photos back within a few days and WOW!! I'm sooo pleased with them! AMAZEBALLSSS!!

Hopefully we get a chance to work together again!!! A definite recommendation to anyone who wants something different and high standard adding to their profile!!

I met Julian about a year ago on a group workshop he was running, and knew that when the time was right I wanted a more specific 121 as his style of lighting was so dramatic and different. Last Saturday we had that 121, the outcome was everything I hoped it would be, and I learned even more than I thought I would. During the day we worked through 8 different lighting set ups with different effects and backgrounds and the whole day was nicely relaxed but very well co-ordinated and ran extremely smoothly. Julian also explained everything very clearly and simply.

If you are looking to develop your understanding of studio lighting and learn some simple but very effective techniques to take your studio work to the next level, I highly recommend a 121 with Julian.
