I can't believe this is only my third reference for Jess!?! I'm sure if it wasn't for covid it would be much higher, as Jess is simply a joy to work with!

This shoot was a little different from the previous ones, as it was a group shoot at TankSpace that I put together, after much badgering from Jess ;) Ok, I'll be honest - I didn't need much persuading!

I could waffle on about pre-comms and her modelling skills, but it's our third shoot - I'd not work a second or third time with someone if I didn't trust them and not think they were awesome (which she is), especially for a shoot that was costing quite a lot of money! Despite being a totally alien environment to what she's worked in previously, she nailed it!

My fist time working with Jessica we had great pre shoot communications and the shoot went great. I loved working with her and she is a really great model to work with, as I love to collaborate as the best work happens when you both inputting energy into the shoot. Jessica also put up with my crazy ideas and work rate and I can't wait to work with her again in my studio to continue to create interesting portraits. Highly recommend !!!!!!

I could actually write THREE references for Jess as that's how many times we've worked together since the last time I typed something for her.

She's amazing. She's really amazing.

On this day in June, Jess had arranged a photoshoot with the owner of a number of exotic pets (snakes and reptiles). All of the animals were incredibly well looked after and most had been rescued by their wonderful owner. Jess was very careful to ensure the welfare of all involved (people and animals!)

We had a number of technical challenges but the shoot was amazing! Every time I work with Jess, the day just disappears. She is always so engaged and so in tune with what's necessary for consistently good images.

Wonderful comms, total reliability, impeccable preparation and superb in front of the camera.

We've done six shoots already. I hope it's only the start. Recommended 100% without hesitation!

I wanted to test and practice with some new home studio equipment so I contacted Jess to sit for me. Communication ahead of the shoot was very good and we arranged to do a portrait shoot. Jess arrived on time with her makeup prepared and bought along a selection of outfits and accessories that matched what we had discussed before hand. She also bought makeup to be able to touch up as needed during the shoot. Through out the shoot, Jess was very professional and helpful, she sat very patiently while I messed about with lighting and could move between poses naturally as well as take direction. My main objective was to become more familiar with the lighting so wasn't too worried about getting "a winning shot" but I was very pleased with the results all the same.

I would certainly recommend Jess and hope to work with her again in the future.

With my regular studio mothballed at the moment I had been doing some dry runs of twilight shooting with speed-lights to hone up the techniques of light balancing etc. When the time came to bring in a model I discovered that Jessica hadn’t returned to Nottingham, as I had assumed, but was still nearby in Cheltenham.

It was almost two years since we had last met but we were immediately catching up by text messages and jointly planning a shoot in in a park where I had scouted out some interesting backgrounds, foregrounds and ‘props’, like an abstract steel sculpture, an empty fountain and some ornate gates.

Jess turned up bang on time, with a bag of alternative hats, scarves etc. for snuggly wrapped-up shots. Our text messaging immediately bloomed into an easy rapport and conversation, about stuff in general as well as details of the shots. Jess really is a delightful person to work with. Another important ingredient is enthusiasm: Jess has bags of it, eagerly going along with quite challenging poses against the chosen settings - like clambering onto the gate and the sculpture.

As the last of the light faded temperature dropped, not helped by the poses needing a bit of hanging around, literally in the case of the gate. But Jess kept going. I hope I called a halt in good time and Jess wasn’t too frozen - I’ll find out when I try to book her again, which I certainly want to do.

By the way, like me Jess is being very cautious over the corona virus. We kept our distance, so we didn’t do the camera-back checking I normally like to do, for example. And we were very aware of who had touched what. So you can be confident that Jess will respect any concerns you have over staying safe – and she will expect you to respect hers.

Jess and I have a habit of choosing days with the wrong weather for our outdoor shoots! We hoped for a dry, bright autumn day but instead we were given a damp and overcast October afternoon.

But this is precisely why I would recommend Jess to any photographer without any hesitation. With the rain clouds beginning to form, Jess still arrived ahead of time, brimming with energy and ready to shoot.

We had a fantastic three hours taking photographs and seeking shelter from occasional downpours. Even when the leaves on the ground were saturated, Jess was still willing to bring them into our photos.

I set out with appropriately measured expectations and we came away from the photoshoot with a series of amazing images. It's an absolute pleasure to spend time with this talented, creative and hard-working individual.

Can't wait until the next time!

Sorry for the late reference!

After having the beautiful Jess on my radar for some time, I was fortunate enough to finally be able to work with her on Maria Mirage's mermaid event, down on the South-West Welsh coast.

Jess is absolutely stunning, that much is obvious and it's nigh on impossible to take a bad picture of her! That isn't all she brings to the table though and I had so much fun working with her and her lovely partner Freddy, who was assisting on the shoot. A very sweet and friendly person, Jess is incredibly professional and seems to instinctively know exactly what she needs to do to give you the photo of your dreams. Oozing elegance and grace, her posing was flawless and she flowed effortlessly between poses despite being confined to seated positions because of the very heavy and cumbersome mermaid tail she was wearing.

Jess was more than happy to try out some of my stranger ideas and looked absolutely immaculate throughout the shoot, even after having to endure splashing water, scratchy barnacles and chilly rock pools! She was upbeat and enthusiastic throughout and very easy to talk to. She also has a great eye for the small details and really helped me to make sure there wasn't a hair (or in our case, fish scale) out of place - very useful to somebody like me, who tends to rush around really fast and miss things that I regret later down the line.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to spend nearly as much time with Jess as I'd have liked, given we were only shooting for four hours and there were two other models present but I was over the moon with the time we did get to spend working together and I got some FANTASTIC shots! I'd absolutely love to work with Jess one-on-one one day to really enjoy the full array of fantasy-based modelling skills she has at her disposal. I know that she'll absolutely be worth the wait!

I'd happily recommend this beautiful and lovely model to anyone. Thanks so much for such a fantastic shoot Jess and Freddy - I had a blast and can't wait to show you what we got (Hoping to get the Dropbox links to everyone by the weekend). You were definitely born to be a mythological being!

I had the pleasure of working with Jessica on my first shoot with a model. I found her very easy to work with and she made me feel at ease throughout. She was willing to try my ideas and also helped me when I struggled; for which I am very grateful.

This was a coastal mermaid shoot so the environment created its own challenges for which she was up for. Given she was immobile for periods (due to the mermaid tail) she handled it very well and it didn't show in her work.

I'd gladly work with her again and thoroughly recommend working with her.

Jess and I started to plan a coloured smoke/powder shoot in February but then put plans on hold for a few months during UK coronavirus lockdown.

Thankfully with restrictions currently allowing outdoor photoshoots (with social distancing), we were able to make plans again.

Jess is amazing! She was beautifully prepared with outfits and props. She set about working with a wonderful awareness of what looks good in front of the camera. We didn't have the still day we were hoping for but Jess' determination and professionalism made the hours pass extremely quickly.

Big thanks to Freddy and Georgie for helping us out. They aimed their powder filled catapults with care and accuracy! We got some great shots thanks to brilliant teamwork.

A truly wonderful afternoon - thank you Jess for making it so much fun!

Had a great shoot with Jess yesterday at a stately home in Gloucestershire. Pre-shoot comms were great which enabled us to deal with venue challenges and to discuss the aims for the day in detail.

Shooting with Jess was completely effortless with Jess flow posing as well as taking (minimal) direction from me. I've only edited a few images from the set so far but it's clear that Jess just oozes elegance, much suited to the natural light locations we were using. We also shot a number of fantasy poses for use in some Photoshop mashups (watch this space) and her inner geek was perfect for channelling her spellcaster with great enthusiasm.

Intelligent, charming, elegant and great company for a shoot. If you're an amateur photographer looking to take your photography to the next level, I'd highly recommend booking a session with Jess as she'll help you to relax and add a touch of elegance to your images. Any pro's looking for wedding, fashion or editorial would also be very happy with this professional, hard-working natural.

First shoot but certainly not the last with this delightful and beautiful young lady. Shoot location in and around the picturesque Gloucester docks area, this shoot was a win-win. Beautiful model, great location and the weather on our side, great way to start your week, capturing some great images with the help of a creative and charismatic model.

Jessica is charming, talented, has a great sense of humour and totally professional. No hesitation in fully recommending Jessica to all photographers and studios.

Jess graced the studio once more, and was here for a vintage swimwear themed shoot with the Muppetographer and his assistant Orphelia. Jess looked absolutely awesome in both outfits, and rocked the sunglasses! We can't wait to see the final images!

It seems so long ago that Jess and I traipsed around Sainsbury's to buy a Xmas tree and decorations for our first shoot together!! I know we've both been busy, but I can't believe it's taken 14 months to work with this absolutely gem again! Where does the time go? Ugh...

As Jess mentions in her profile, her mixed heritage offers a uniqueness and beauty that is pretty rare on Purpleport, and you just need to look at the gorgeous portrait photos taken recently with MC Supporter to get a glimpse of what she offers. Our shoot today was probably... 8-9 months in the making, maybe more? It was a retro swimwear theme and originally there were plans to do this at some seasidey place last Summer, but as usual things crop up, things get rescheduled, and suddenly you're into Autumn and Winter when nobody wants to stand around on a beach at WsM in just a bathing costume! Rather than wait any longer, we decided to just do it at the studio!

Jess brought Ophelia, and we probably spent the first 20-30 mins nattering, whilst inflating the main star of the shoot! It was lovely to catch up, and hear how Jess' modelling was progressing as well as her studies. As for the shoot, we did a set in the Box, along with a couple of swimwear sets - one with Orphelia, and one without. Although my memory isn't great, I feel Jess' repertoire of poses and confidence in front of the camera has grown massively over the last year or so, and I was thrilled with the shots we were getting.

Jess has already sown the seed for our next shoot... although I'll definitely need to get a job to pay for it!! I'm not sure how much free time Jess will have over the next 6 months as she wraps up her studies, but if you can find time to shoot with her, you won't regret it!

It is always a joy to have a photoshoot with Jess and this shoot was both bonkers and great fun. We tried out a number of experimental ideas including some which distorted her features into very unflattering shapes. I'm sure not many models would be prepared to see themselves portrayed in such ways. Fortunately we have some ideas for 2020 that will show her as she really is! First shoot today with Jess, and I couldn't wish for more! (Apart from a warmer day). Jessica was an absolute pleasure to work with. Pre-shoot communication was brilliant, and everything was arranged very easily. Despite the cold, Jess never complained and was always happy to walk to a new spot and to try a new pose. Her beauty takes the breathe away and she knows very well how to make the most of it, with or without directions.

Jessica and I had met previously for a chat about the sort of shots we might do in our session yesterday. That meant we were able to get quickly underway - Jessica demonstrated her keenness & ability to latch-on to techniques and ideas very quickly, adding some free posing to my sets and mood directions, despite it being just her second time in a studio. Smashing elegance and poise - just right for my style of picture.

Jess brought along some nice outfits, as well as the photogenic clothes she arrived in. So , apart from a couple of hats, we left my things and the studio’s on their hangers (unusual for me!) until the inevitable next time. Recommended - a model to watch.

I had a brilliant shoot yesterday with Jessica yesterday at my home studio. Jessica is an excellent model, very friendly, pretty and intelligent. She arrived on time with a bagful of outfits and excellent hair and make up. Even though she is relatively new to modelling she poses naturally and takes direction well.

I highly recommend Jessica to other photographers and look forward to working with her again in the future.
