Having meet Stu at my Studio to discuss a collaboration and knowledge share

Stu with Shibari and RopeWork and me with Studio and camera work

Arranged a shoot with BlackSwann, to see if we all could work together

It all worked extremely well, Jeff came full kitted out with all ropes and tackle, even his own seat :-)

Stu is really patient and demonstrated and taught the rope basics in a way that was relatively easy to pick up, Stu was so relaxed, patient passed on his vast knowledge in a easy manner that relaxed everybody else

The result was a great learning experience, and an awesome shoot as well

Both myself and the model were in good hands

Areteus

A very competent and professional rope artist who clearly knows a lot about what he does, reflects on his actions and works hard to improve every time.

Managed to organise a somewhat complicated shoot with four moving targets needed to be lined up on one day at one time in one place... managed it perfectly and had a series of interesting ties prepared. Pre comms were excellent and he took into account suggestions from me as the photographer and also considered and respected other participant's professional skills.

On set he is a reassuring and calming presence who is always aware of safety issues and the comfort of the model.

Spellbound

Had my first Shibari shoot with Jeffstu last night with another photographer. He was very patient, kind, attentive to if I had any pins & needles/if I was comfortable enough as it was my first time etc. We had a laugh whilst he was tying & suspending me....he also took some images aswell & I look forward to seeing what our collaborative effort looks like.

Had a steam punk/cybergoth shoot with jeffstu today. Pre coms were great, shoot was relaxed and I'm really pleased with the images ! So quick too ! Thanks so much !

Had a wonderful shoot with Stu yesterday. He's a chilled out guy who knows what he's doing with ropes. Definitely recommended.

Worked with Jeffstu yesterday. He's very laid back and a gentle person, always checked in with me to make sure I was okay and ropes weren't too tight etc..

If any model works with him then they are in good hands.

Stu was wanting to get back in to Shibari and had come up for a studio visit prior. And on both occasions he was promt and comms were great. In a little over 2 hours we had 3 different ties, plus some 'picking the model up by the ropes' sets.

Overall it wasa great working experiance and I'd be happy to shoot with him again. (y)
