River Horton

I am a massive Geek. I've been a Whovian since the start of the reboot, it's about the only show I can watch over and over again, discounting Chibnall's work. I watch a lot of Historical/Period Dramas (although their accuracy is up for debate), some Comedy, quite a lot of documentaries, and the occasional Modern Drama. I'm a big fan of The Handmaid's Tale and highly recommend it, although I must include a warning, it's brutal, especially to those of us with uteruses, I do have a Handmaid outfit ready for shoots.

I also read a lot of books. Some times all at once. I particularly enjoy the Harry Potter series (and have very much separated the art from the artist), the Hitchhikers Trilogy and other things like Fahrenheit 451 and Nineteen Eighty Four. Current reads include: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Come As You Are, The Body Keeps The Score, and The Heathen: A Viking Grimoire of Norse Sorcery.

I absolutely love to be outdoors, I love nothing more than going out for walks in woods, around fields and just watching the wildlife. There are so many peaceful places near where I live that are all amazing to visit whenever you need to think. I tend to do a lot of thinking.

Another of my passions is studying. I'm the kind of person that is always studying something. Sometimes this is an actual course, like the Bachelor's I've not long completed, or just general reading on a particular subject - usually something that confuses people when they realise how much I know about that topic.

All of this means that when shooting with me, there is always something to talk about. I have an interest in almost every topic in life, and if not, an open mind to learn about it. As my references show, I also have a wicked sense of humour, and energy to last a full day's shoot, regardless of the content of the shoot.

Currently effectively on a break, due to now having to pay regular travel expenses. If you still want to shoot with me, please note that travel expenses will be on top of my hourly rate, from Barrow-in-Furness, with a preference for rail travel as much as possible. As examples when booked far enough in advance (these will increase the closer to the day a shoot is booked), Manchester Piccadilly would be around £20, Preston would be around £15, and Leeds would be around £30. I will however make it clear within communications how much paying and for what.

Though limited, my primary experience is doing outdoor, alternative, and fetish, with a particular interest in Shibari/Kinbaku. I like images that are striking, get the viewer thinking, or express things that would take a thousands words to say.
