I had a shoot with jon a few weeks ago, myself and Paul walker where the models. We shot at my house and it was a great experience and day! Jon is an extremely good and creative photographer, he gives exceptional direction and knows what he wants, he was also very happy to explore any idea's I had and knew exactly how to get the best out of my features and shape! The shots we got are amazingly interesting and artistic. Each photo tells its own story and captures so much emotion! Cannot wait to share! I would Highly recommend working with jon he is amazing, proffesional, kind and extremely talented! You will not be at all disappointed!

I shot with sparky pants a while ago and only now I'm doing a reference for him haha...sorry dude

Anyway I met him at his house and had the chance to cuddle one of his rats! And he played the banjo for me :D

We talked about what we were going to do and I ended up dragging him to an abandoned mill where we both got covered in anti vandalism paint! Always a fun start to an awsome shoot.

We laughed lots, he was ready to stop me from trying anything dangerous.

I ended up taking funny pictures with him.

One of the pictures was me on his shoulders (me completely naked! Haha) not sure how it happened but knowing me I probably got stuck somewhere and he had to come help me.

I love the pictures we created and hopefully we will shoot again :D

Art ! This man is a true Artist. He's actually younger than my eldest son, so it felt kinda weird shooting with him, but when I met him I was completely overwhelmed by his relaxed and warm engaging manner. He has a wonderful dry sense of humour and I love that it comes through in his work, and he captures moments with an eye that sees the world from a very new and different perspective. He has very clear direction, and takes great care in producing scenes to convey a narrative, and yet at the next moment he takes a quick shot that has the same impact at the one careful staged. He treated me with the utmost respect and kindness, and as it was my first location nude shoot he couldn't have been more helpful and considerate. I felt completely safe and relaxed in his company and had no qualms or concerns whatsoever with regard to my personal space, he is an absolute gentleman and highly professional.

We got on immediately and that made the shoot go incredibly well, and I feel he's the kind of guy that you could sit and chat to for hours upon end. I highly recommend this man, not only for his artistic insights and skills, but because he's such a lovely person to be around. He makes you feel light hearted and happy and you leave just hoping he will want to shoot you again.

Thank you Jon for a great, fun packed adventurous day. Awesome ! ;-)

Yes Jon turned up! but given he lives two streets away he had no excuse!

Jon joined in the random day I had at my place last weekend both as a tog and as a model, I just love this guy, funny, knowledgeable, very creative, and slightly weird (but in a good way).

We got to do some wonderfully funny and strange things with Jon directing 2 togs and 3 models into various weird and wonderful positions, with various props.

A very skilled tog and a lovely guy, recommended 100%

I just love Jon! He is such a laid back, easy to get on with and lovely guy. I have worked with him last December when we finally managed to get together. This time was a last minute arrangement at the social in Glous on the day before the shoot.

As my male model couldn't make it, I twisted Jon's arm to help me out for the shoot. The whole thing turned into a massive fun with several togs and models. I took over 900 images and I'm not even half way through them.

Jon or better known to me as Sparky, is an amazing character. He absolutely eat,drinks, breaths and lives photography and I'm constantly smitten by the stuff he uses to take or develop a picture. He is such a creative mind and what I probably love most about him is the fact that he just doesn't give a damn what others may think of his work. He is interested in creating something different and exciting rather then main stream stuff.

And before I end up writing a book about him...

Definite must to work with, top bloke, great photographer and yeah...impressive model as well.

Marmalade

It was a year since we first shot and Jon and I climbed some of the biggest hills in Cheltenham, so when he came to stay whilst visiting London it was only fair I got my own back and made him crawl round yet another grubby urbex site :)

My planned location had sadly been sealed up forthe moment, so yet again it was plan b. I knew a small derelict cottage existed nearby, but on exploring around it, we discovered this little gem and shot off the cuff using the natural light with awesome resuts as usual! Jon's always awesome to work with,super creative, with an awesome eye for a shot, whether out on an unexpected location, or shooting in the bath, and a brilliant house guest to boot. Def recommended and lets notleave it so long next time! :)

Jon undertook a short sub-contract job for me centred around his knowledge of Lightroom on behalf of a client, and completed to everyone's satisfaction. Thank you. Very knowledgeable and definitely recommended.

The things I did at Sparkman's:

Watched cartoons, climbed out the window half-naked, touched pet rats, drank wine and played with cameras. I think he took some pictures as well.

Extras:

I was allowed to eat Kinder surprise egg saved from Christmas, had a banana, a half of avocado and some rice.

A+,100% recommend

P.S. The cat didn't come :(

Funny, creative, talented and taking risk photographer, that's what Jon is! He uses many different cameras (film, polaroïd, digital etc), chooses very interesting and unusual angles and dares experimenting many different things.

I can't wait to see the result of our collaboration! I hope there will other shoots with him and of course I recommend him with pleasure!

This was my second shoot with Jon and it didn't disappoint!

Communication ace, ideas awesome, direction great, whole team worked as a team. I can't fault anything :) If you get the chance to work with Jon jump at it.

Sparkman didn't shout at me when I got us lost in the middle of nowhere but he didn't have any plasters with him when I cut my finger on a thorn.

We ate wine gums, we bitched and moaned about people and got round to taking some photos.

I have been really happy with the images that I have gotten back from Sparkman and it was truly a very lovely day.

He gets 4 and a half stars from me (minus half a star for lack of plasters).

He is such a Cool Person and Photographer that the time just flew by...I realy Like his creativity, he is full of ideas and knows his all cameras very well :) Love the pics we have create !! Jon & I shot at Matchbox/iSpy studio whilst I visited Gloucester a couple of weeks ago, with some very interesting and wonderful concepts planned - something that I love about Jon, his beautifully abstract concepts which are so fun to put into practice!

He has a stunning way with the camera, with astounding knowledge to boot & he directs like no other, a knack for bringing out the best in people - I had way too much fun (& exercise), Jon is that creative & innovative photographer you've been looking for...trust me :)

I met Jon at a salon on a shoot. We got chatting after that and decided to shoot together at my home. We had a great theme, something I had been wanting to do for a while and I honestly believe that he was the perfect person for this type of shoot. He was really friendly, funny and polite. He gave me direction well as it was a new type of shoot for me so I appreciate that a lot. I felt very comfortable with Jon and I'm very happy with what I had seen on camera. He is very creative in his photography and I noticed that he also concentrates on the small details that make the photo great. Jon clearly has a lot of respect for models so I would 100 percent reccomend him to work with anybody! Thanks Jon, until next time!

I had my first ever shoot taken by Sparkman, and I was absolutely amazed with the images he took. Professional, and very fun and relaxed to work with. He is definitely a great professional to get to work alongside!

communication before & during the shoot was excellent and he is easy to get along with.

I had my 3rd shoot with Jon at his Lovely home In Cheltenham and it was a blast! :-) I felt completely at ease shooting with Jon, Hes friendly and easy going, His creative vision is expressive and classy; I think he captures a woman's true femininity and natural sensuality. Akasha & I somehow managed to convince Jon to do a couple shoot with us at the December Gloucester Social ... And decided to do it just after Christmas. It turned out to be a great shoot... it started with a nice pub lunch (always a bonus! thanks Jana) we started with some outside location shots in the cotswolds, and then we moved onto a hotel where we worked through some of the ideas we had prepared.

Jon is very easy going, funny and relaxed and I found it very easy to work with him... the attention to detail he paid to the shots is great, and the variety of images we shot was superb.

Jon's communications were excellent as was the follow up with the selections and choices on editing.

I would be very happy to work with Jon again and highly recommend him, Thanks for a great shoot and some lovely images. :)
