Iulia is an incredibly friendly and funny person to work with. She made me feel so comfortable and was a fantastic host! She was courteous, ensuring I was okay and happy all the time, very creative with the makeup and we both had a lot of creative input in to the evening which I loved! Highly recommend and would love to work together again in the near future!

Iulia has both a precise eye for lighting and a collaborative, improvisational spirit that allowed me ample freedom of expression and movement

Since neither of us knew in advance what kind of work we'd produce together.

Spoiler alert: the friggin awesome kind, that's what kind!

Most importantly, She was courteous, candid, and generally enjoyable to talk to. Would absolutely shoot with her again, and would recommend him to models of all experience levels!

Attended Iulia's workshop today at the York Studio and hands down this is the best workshop I have attended to date. I've always wanted to gain a better understanding of Photoshop as, to be honest, it has always frightened me and I have as a result clung to LightRoom as my main editing facility. Well, today that all changed. Iulia is an excellent instructor with the patience of a saint. I can go on repeating what everyone else has said about her, but I'll stop myself there and just say that if you need to gain or enhance your knowledge on Photoshop editing and beauty photography, this is a one stop shop. Just get on to one of her courses and see for yourself. Thanks Iulia and best wishes!! John.

I attended Iulia's beauty workshop today. She presented very well, explained everything and took her time to help each attendee during the "have a go yourself"-part of the training. Iulia's knowledge is amazing, but what sets her apart is her ability to convey the knowledge, to make it easy to understand, and to share her enthusiasm. I came away feel energized, and am keen to try some of the techniques Iulia taught.

The day flowed really well from the direction of composing the image in camera to the wonderful workflow techniques.

I attended Iulia's beauty editing worksop at York Studio.

She introduced a whole new way of editing to me as I'm a lot of a novice with photoshop and layers etc..

However Iulia made it easy to follow, easy to understand and although I still need to spend hours and hours practising it, I feel far more confident in what I'm doing..

Iulia hits the balnce just right of being over your shoulder with help, and letting you actually get on with it and learning it yourself...

This was my second visit to studio 33 and working with Iulia. This time it was one of her amazing workshops i was modelling for. What an amazing person she is. Hugely talented and humble with it. Probably one of the nicest people you will ever come across and not only a fantastic photographer but an amazing teacher as well. It was amazing to see her in action and passing on her knowledge to those who clearly admire her work. With me, she was equally as amazing making sure i was happy and comfortable at all times and just so much fun to be around. This girl did not stop throughout the while day, teaching all day then running an event in the evening and didnt worry about herself but always checking everyone else was happy. In a league of her own! needless to say she comes with the highest of recommendations from me :-)

I generally avoid group shoots, however I recently attended one of Iulia's well organised events in her lovely studio, both to meet Iulia and also because she had lined up a fantastic model who would be way over my budget to shoot myself.

The shoot was very well run with a lovely group of people present. Iulia herself is very modest but clearly knows her stuff and I picked up a number of useful tips which I can apply to my own work.

Great value and a good day out.

What a lovely photographer!!! I wish I could swear on this post to get out how much I love her photography!! We had a great MUA on hand ‘thesurreyschoolofmakeup’ also known as Becky. We had such a great team yesterday and I’m so happy with how it went, Iulia runs great group shoots and she’s fun and energetic and professional! One of the best photographers I’ve seen in a long time. I would love to work with her everyday! I don’t think I have to say much about her work as you can see by her portfolio, she’s amazing!

I attended one of Iulia's workshops showing how she takes and retouches her beauty images. As someone who's not got into Photoshop yet (but uses Light room and been trying to learn PS for a while) her workshop was great. Very simple and easy to follow. Plenty of time to practice with Iulia on hand to explain in more detail if needed or just provide a helping hand.

Hoping Iulia comes back to Manchester, definitely recommended.

Iulia had me as a model for one of her group shoots. I had been wanting to work with her for over a year and I'm so glad I finally did! Aside from her obvious amazing talents in photography and retouching, Iulia is also a really really lovely person:

She greeted me with warmth and got the shots she wanted in a matter of minutes - I was thoroughly impressed with her on both a professional and a personal level. She has come so far in such a short amount of time, it's truly inspirational!

Iulia was absolutely amazing to work with and I will be counting the minutes until the next time I get to do so! I cannot wait to see the finished images as I am sure they will be of her usual amazing quality.

Her photographs speak for herself, but once you meet her so does her personality and ethic! Highly recommend her to anyone.

I attended Iulia's Creative Makeup / Portrait Group Shoot with Ria Fantastic.

Iulia was very good with communications before the shoot. She met me at the studio door with a smile. During the shoot she kept us photographers in order and provided assistance, if we wanted it.
