Lovely to be able to shoot with Helen again, this time at The Den. Very relaxed and laid back as usual, Good set up of lighting to play around with. Helen is the utmost professional but chilled out at the same time. Looking forward to returning to the Den, with some ideas which need to be explored. This studio is local to me and will become my go to space in the future. Not just with Helen, but other models as well, always a safe environment to relax and create. Thank you Helen😁😁

I have shot with Helen a couple of times here now and each occasion has been superb! Helen and Roger provided a really warm welcome, literally nothing was too much trouble (they even charged my iPhone!), and I definitely achieved images beyond my hopes for the day!

Anyone who’s shot with Helen already knows how stunningly she photographs, and on home territory there’s no stopping for the mundane tasks involved with visiting a studio, we were shooting literally until the end of the appointment - where normally I’d wrap up 10 or 15 mins before to allow everyone to pack up!

Directions to the studio are easy to follow and plenty of on street parking right outside - always a bonus!

I would certainly hope to visit again!

Thanks very much to Helen and Roger, for making me feel very welcome at their home studio, based in Wiltshire, had a superb day thanks to them.

I have worked with Helen and various other models at this location, it has plenty of natural light, for indoor portraits, and the studio part has plenty of space to move around, and many different backdrops, that suit your needs.

I was plentily refreshed with hot drinks, by Helen and felt very at home.

I highly recommend this location for indoor/outdoor portraits and I'm sure I will be shooting there again in the summer, many thanks and best wishes, Ollie!! :)

The Den is a great little find. I’ve known Helen and Roger for some time and when I needed to hire a studio to shoot reference images for my drawings this was the perfect place. The studio was set up ready for me with twin strip lights and I got the shots that I needed really quickly. Everything just worked :)

I attended a bodyscapes workshop at the Den and thoruoghly enjoyed it. The event was well organised but relaxed, with a good mix of attendees.

The owners were perfect hosts, with Helen as a terrific model and Roger making sure all the photographic and technical details were right.

A very enjoyable evening, and lots of great images.

Second time shooting Helen at The Den, and this was another successful shoot :-)

As before, Roger was on hand to assist with the lighting setup, which is always a big help to anyone like myself that is fairly new to these things. (He was even hard at work ironing a fabric backdrop for my shoot when I arrived, which certainly saved me some effort in Photoshop later on!)

This time we made use of more backdrops, even switching sides on the studio to effect a change from low-key to high-key with the least effort, and I was also able to experiment with gels for the first time too. I still haven't got round to trying the smoke machine yet, but it's good to know that there are always more toys here to play with -- and a very experienced and helpful model/photographer duo to help get the best out of all these things too :-)

Had a really good shoot at the Den in Chippenham yesterday. The studio has everything a photographer or model could ask for.

As well as the studio there is also a garden if you wanted to use natural light.

Both Helen and Roger are very friendly and would go out of their way to enable a photographer to have a great experience.

I would definitely go there again.

I have worked several times with Helen - more recently at her studio 'The Den'. It is a super place to shoot very well equipped lighting etc, - easy street level access, good parking and always help unloading (if needed !) and studio set up.

I enjoyed a productive fun and relaxing Studio Day with Dominika W and part of the session with Dominica and Helen duo . Studio help and advise is always available - but never intrusive ! Thanks Roger and Helen :)

It was lovely to work, for my first time, with Dominika W, a lovely person to be with, relaxed and easy to work with - a fun time and nice images :) :) Thank You Dominika.

Attended a 'Model in The Studio' event, booked a 2 hour time slot at The Den.

It is a 'local studio where I had done work with Helen, got good results, looked forward to same.

Worked with the lovely DominikaW on photo glam: fashion clothes, poses, etc.

Did flash photography in 'Manual' than 'Auto' with some advice from Roger.

The Den studio is ideal for such work, limited in space I had no problems.

A choice of end sets: backdrops, lighting, 'private' model changing space.

Because of its location, it was 'quiet' one soon got into it, interaction.

Go there again, worth it

I attended The Den studio for a shoot with Dominika W on a studio day that they were hosting. Helen made me very welcome on arrival and Roger went through my shooting plan to decide on the best running order to match with the lighting set ups.

The studio is very well equipped. I was pleasantly surprised at how many shooting options were packed into the studio and the number of extra props etc. that were available.

Roger was incredibly helpful at organising the lighting for each set to help me obtain the images that I wanted to achieve. His efforts were greatly appreciated by me, and undoubtedly contributed to a successful shoot.

Thank you, Helen and Roger, for making my visit so pleasurable and I look forward to future visits to The Den. Highly recommended.

I had my studio model day at The Den and its a perfect place for that. Helen & Roger were very helpful and very friendly during the whole day. Studio is very professional, fully equipped with lots of props to be used during the shoot.

Helen is an amazing host, she was looking after me and photographers so we were well fed and had drinks.

Roger was very helpful with the lighting which was amazing.

Overall wonderful experience and fun. That's why we organising another day as first was very successful. Thank you for having me. Lots of Love, Domi ❤️xx

Worked again with Helen, so many shoots so many years, but the first time at her (and Rogers) own home studio. Helen was on top form as usual, and we had fun, adventure and a little drama during the shoot. Great fun was had by all, the picture were pretty good too.

The Den is a well equiped space with all the lights & backgrounds you could need as well as some interesting props.

The Den is a great little studio. A habitual user of natural light, I was keen to experiment with a studio setup, and was very impressed with the facilities and the results. Helen was very helpful and a lot of fun to work with, and the lighting, backdrops and props were just what I was looking for. Highly recommended.

This was my second time working with Helen, and my first time in The Den, having previously shot inside Helen's house.

The studio is a well-equipped double garage conversion, with a good amount of space (plenty of room for using an 85mm lens, for example). There are many lights and modifiers available, and a trigger for my Canon camera was no problem (except for me forgetting to remove it from my camera at the end of the shoot!... I returned it soon after with no harm done :-)). Various props for typical studio set-ups are on hand, as are a variety of backdrops.

Helen and Roger are a super-talented model/photographer couple, and equally charming hosts. We had a good few laughs over coffee while settings things up, and Roger very kindly assisted with arranging the lighting for me at the start of the shoot, which was a big help since I'm new to studio shooting. I got some great shots and would highly recommend The Den to anyone interested in studio photography :-)

I had a shoot with Helen at her home studio. I have left a suitable, positive, reference for Helen, but this is to acknowledge that the Den is a great place to shoot and I recommend it as a place to hire in its own right. It is well equipped, easy to find and the hosts are friendly and helpful.

I shot with Helen last year assisted by Roger on what I believe was one of the first remote shoots done at The Den.

The Den is an impressive space with top quality equipment. Helen and Roger are lovely people, Helen is an amazing model and Roger is an accomplished photographer, well qualified to assist where required.

I’m sure the natural light and outdoor areas that have been added are equally impressive. Highly recommended for any project!

I've shot with Helen several times, most recently at her home/studio. The studio is very well equipped with plenty of lights/modifiers, is easily accessible and has convenient parking.

The garden is also a great space for natural light shooting and Helen is very knowledgeable and always provides plenty of ideas.

Definitely very highly recommended.
