Alex booked me during my 1-1 studio day at Pozers studio in Swindon. When he originally messaged me to say it would be a military theme shoot I was so exited because I do love a bit of acting and the opportunity to do something different. The props he brought where not cheesy rubbish props they where really cool. I had an absolute blast pretending to be a Russian integrator. I think secretly in a past life I was one hahaha. Alex was easy to talk to and he gave me clear and good directions but mostly just let me do my thing. He has sent me a few images form the shoot and they are really good. Its exactly what I was thinking of when he first said it was a military theme. Im happy with the shoot and would recommend him to anyone.

I had an AMAZING fun packed two days at the lovely Pozers studio again recently! These were themed days based around the sensational "Dita Von Teese" Pin Up and Burlesque movement which I absolutely adore!

Alex was one of the kind photographers who booked onto the days event- and we had a blast! I have worked with Alex before at my home and its like working with an old friend- He is so respectful, kind and one of lifes gents! I really enjoyed his company and it was lovely to have him on the team! Its also been lovely to see Alexs photography progress and I loved the results from the day!

It was such a lovely day and I loved it so much that I am organising another few Dita Von Teese inspired days- this time with a MUA/Hair Stylist on board! So if you fancy a round two...! ;)

Retro Rob

Well what can I say but what a privilege to have had the chance to shoot with Alex today of Red Chair Photography.

The scene was set at the incredible Pozers studio now coming towards the end of the Retro Rob and Melany tour and all I can say was pure retro delight was delivered today with Alex capturing from what I could see from the back of the camera some truly iconic images with myself and Melany.

Alex is a true professional ensuring not only that we were all happy with what he created but that we all had an input into the final results.

I can't wait to see the uploaded images and look forward to booking another shoot with him again real soon thank you so much again for an awesome shoot.

I had the pleasure of shooting with Alex at PoZers Studio in Swindon as part of a vintage duo with Retro Rob.

Alex arrived with some brilliant ideas and he was so enthusiastic and complimentary about the looks that Rob and I came up with. We worked so well as a team and had an instance connection through our shared love of vintage.

Alex gives great director and you can tell he has the shot in mind before he takes it. He’s willing to tweak and refine until he gets the shot we are all happy with, and works really collaboratively. As a result he gets the best out of the models and captured some truly awesome shots!!

Rob and I were thrilled as we got to try out some different lighting set ups that created a sultry, film noir style look which we adored. In fact the three hours flew by!

Alex is professional, fun, ethusiastic, has a great eye for a good shot and is just lovely to work with. I really hope to have the opportunity of working with him again. Highly recommended.

PoZers hosted a studio day with the stunning Alice Katz, and Alex booked the beautiful Alice, for half of the day. I’m really honoured to say, that Alex is becoming one of my regular photographers, and I’m also exceptionally proud to say, he’s becoming a wonderful friend too. As always, Alex’s pre-shoot communication is faultless, sending me an extensive mood-board of ideas, which helps me considerably, when styling, lighting and creating the sets, with our props, furniture and backdrops. Alex also asked, would I do Alice’s makeup, as he was going for a “Caberet” themed shoot, based on the styling from that iconic musical with Liza Minelli. Alex patiently watched me apply the makeup, and style Alice’s hair, and used this time to get to know Alice, break the ice, and building up a rapport, before the shoot had even started. As always, Alex was a dream to work with, so kind and caring towards the model, totally respectful at all times, ensuring she took a break for drinks, as it was a swelteringly hot day. Alex is so easy to get along with, he makes every shoot such a dream, I’m always delighted, when Alex books another studio day, or model, and eagerly anticipates his return. Alex has a great sense of humour, and we always have a fabulous time together shooting, having a great time and capturing some amazing images too, what more could a studio owner and MUA ask for. As always, 100% recommendation from me, thank you so much Alex, for making my job such a pleasure. Already looking forward to your next visit to PoZers, whenever that will be.

What a pleasure to work with Alex - an absolutely lovely chap! We had chatted online before our shoot at PoZers, and Alex had some really good ideas for our time together. We worked on a Cabaret theme and from what I saw of the back of the camera, the shots look incredible!

Alex is friendly, easy to talk to and very respectful. A total gentleman. Our shoot flew by and he was so easy to work with. I can tell how much he enjoys his photography and it was great to work with him. I would highly recommend Alex and hope I get a chance to work with him again. Just a truly kind, down to earth chap - thank you Alex!

PoZers hosted a studio day with Scarlett Blaze, a couple of months ago, and it snowed and snowed and snowed, trapping Scarlett and myself at my home, making PoZers impossible to reach, by all the photographers, including poor Alex, so Scarlett and myself rescheduled with Alex, for May, hoping there’s no more snow during this bonkers Spring weather !!! lol :):) Yay !!! The shoot happened !!! And it was worth the wait, it was so fabulous. Alex loves pin-up and with Scarlett’s beautiful “Jessica Rabbit” physique, she was perfect for this genre. As always Alex’s pre-shoot communication was exceptional. Alex required me to do Scarlett’s makeup and hair in a pin-up retro style, sending me images of what he required, a beautiful, classic 50’s look. When Alex arrived, we was part way through the makeup, which gave Alex time to discuss outfits, sets, lighting etc, ensuring as soon as makeup and hair was finished, we was good to go. The entire shoot absolutely flew by, we got through lots of sets, props and clothing, some of the stuff Alex brought along and really added to the images. As always, Alex was so much fun and took some phenomenal images, Scarlett’s back of camera images were amazing, thank you so much Alex for an amazing day, looking forward to our next shoot already. :):):)

Alex is awesome!!

Pictures speak louder than words, just look at his port.

Second time lucky, first time we were both snowed in and couldn't make it but really glad we rearranged as it was so productive, enjoyable and was impressed by the images we created.

Alex booked me for a pin up shoot at PoZers, Alley did my make up wonderfully and then we were ready.

Time went by quickly and I hope one day we will shoot again :)

I am so glad to have had the chance to finally work with the wonderful Alex and what made it better was that Alex booked me at the fantastic Pozers studio.

First things first, Alex is possibly one of the nicest photographers you could meet very polite, down to earth and incredibly easy to work with. During the shoot he was patience and at ease, even when he was having some technical issues with his camera. He does have good knowledge of lighting but, just like any creative photographer, he is happy to take on board suggestions from others. I enjoyed working on his ideas and seeing the results has made all worthwhile because he has taken some cracking images!

I certainly would work with him again, and I would most highly recommend him to all!

PoZers hosted a studio day, with the stunning Anna Moya and Alex came along, making the day even more fabulous. Alex has been to PoZers numerous times now, and it’s always such a pleasure to have him come along, as he’s such a sweetheart to the models, always being so kind and caring, always making their well-being his priority, throughout his stay. Alex’s pre-shoot communication is amazing, he will always send me mood boards of ideas, images of props he’s brought, list of things he needs from the studio, and his ideas of the sets and lighting he’d like, making planning his time, simpler and structured for his arrival. Alex loves creating portraits, he’s facinated with beautiful faces and natural facial expressions, and this reflects in his wonderful portfolio. I worked with the lovely Alex the other day where he kindly booked me for half a days shoot working at my home. I am always a little nervous working with someone for the first time but working with Alex couldn't have been easier- he is such a lovely, down to earth and kind person to be around!

We worked throughout the house making the very most of the natural light available (my favourite method of photography!) and took some gorgeous photos! We had plenty of costume changes and worked from fashion to art nude.

I found Alex really pleasant to work with- he listened to my ideas and also gave great direction himself. He was also kind to show me the images on the back of the cameras as we went along, so that we could monitor the quality of the images. He also bought along a few of his own props, which is always lovely and a great way to interact with the model and shoot something new.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Alex and love the images he has uploaded. He is a very respectful and professional photographer who I would recommend to everyone. I really hope we get the chance to work together again- thankyou for a lovely day, Helen x

I had the opportunity to work with Alex after he booked a few hours at my studio day in Pozers.

Alex was an absolute joy to work with, h e made me feel super relaxed. We spent the few hours focusing on the 1920's and Alex was filled with beautiful ideas.

Alx is a complete gentleman, super creative and a fantastic photographer.I can not wait to see the images.

PoZers was honoured to host a character fantasy shoot for Red Chair Photography the other day, and what a fabulous afternoon and evening we all had. Alex and I had been chatting for a while before the planning of this shoot together, talking about my creative and fantasy work at PoZers. Alex came up with a theme that he wanted me to roll with, the style being Pin-up and the theme was a Disney female that could look a little evil and very beautiful and represent a pin-up theme. Alex allowed me to take control of the creative side, designing and creating costumes to suit, choosing the perfect model and setting up the studio accordingly.

His pre-shoot communication was phenomenal and the trust he gave in me was amazing and I felt so flattered that he trusted me to do him proud, and create a character to inspire his creativity. We talked throughout the lead to the shoot, I kept the model and character a secret on his request, so on the day he would have a huge surprise and an adrenaline rush to shoot in a total creative manner. Of course this isn't for everyone, many photographers require to know everything from start to finish and I totally respect this. Alex however wanted the surprise and I was so honoured he trusted me with everything. Alex arrived early so that he could see everything I had created for the shoot, and also so he could watch me apply the makeup to the model, bringing this character to life. I was so pleased that Alex was really happy with everything I had created, and was really over the moon with the character makeup when it was finished.

He was amazing throughout the shoot, making our model, Rag Doll feel right at ease. He was a perfect gentleman, so very kind, so very well spoken and full of compliments throughout the entire shoot. We experimented with different costumes, props, back grounds, lighting etc and you could see Alex's ideas unfold throughout the shoot. Despite the shoot being exciting for us all, we were all relaxed and very happy throughout and Alex couldn't have been a better client if he had tried. He worked really hard for the amazing images he got, and kept us up to date with images from the back of the camera throughout. It was a total pleasure working with Alex, from the minute he contacted me about this shoot, until the minute the shoot ended and onwards. I really could not recommend this lovely photgrapher enough to absolutely anyone and everyone from studio owner, model, makeup artist, stylist, designer etc. I am so glad he was happy with the service that PoZers provided and I am very honoured that he wants to come back and do something else, employing me for the creative side once again. Alex is a perfect gentleman and he made us both feel totally relaxed, and I really can't wait to work with Alex again, every minute was a total pleasure. A five star gentleman and a first class photographer with amazing and creative ideas that I love. Many thanks Alex and I look forward to seeing you back at PoZers once again.

Have used Red Chair Photography's studio a lot for shoots with other togs but last Saturday had a shoot with the man himself!

We had been planning a pirate shoot for quite a while and Alex accumulated a lot of props and hired theatrical costumes for the shoot pre-comms were fab and we were all on the same page for the shoot. The shoot was so much fun and Alex gave ️brilliant direction. I would not hesitate to recommend Alex as a photographer or using his studio.

Had a fab shoot with Alex at his studio last weekend.

He has a great little studio setup and is a complete gentleman!

I really enjoyed working Alex, hes very easy to get along with and was very considerate.

Communications from him have been brilliant throughout. he had alredy prepared/researched some fab ideas which made my job a lot easier.

I love the photos we got and really hope to work with him again soon.

Had the pleasure of shooting at Red Chair Photography last weekend. The studio is handily placed, has the option of natural and studio lights but most of all has a host who'll bend over backwards to ensure you get what you need. Alex went way beyond the call of duty to ensure the shoot went as smoothly as possible. Can't thank him enough for his help on the day.

I didn't work with "Red Chair" as a photographer, but he hosted us in his studio for a shoot with Sophie Merlo, Kathrin Mitchel and Feather. Lovely guy who was working hard during the 5 hours shoot to get us everything we needed.

He started managing his studio recently and you can rely on him to make his customers satisfied.

Maybe next time you will be the photgrapher on the shoot?

I recommend him without hesitation.

Fabulous host at Red Chair today, Alex just couldn't do enough to make everything run smoothly and has the most excellent sense of humour to make sure everything stays calm and light hearted. NOTHING is too much trouble for this man, he instinctively knows what you need and how to help you create the shots you want. As a Photographer myself I cant wait to work their myself and create some brilliant images. Thanks Alex for all the cups of tea, help carrying my stuff and being an ABSOLUTE GENTLEMAN ! ;-) x
