Detroit 442.

Back in the '90's I dropped in to see a signwriter friend and he said, "Phil, I've just got this programme called Photoshop on the computer. Apparently, you can do arty things in it, but I don't know as it is going to be much use to me. Do you want a go on it?"
I sat down at his desktop pc and with a mouse I began playing around with what I saw. In minutes I had began to draw using digital airbrushes that could be masked, just like traditional airbrushes (with which I was already well acquainted), only I was now painting with light itself, not paints (and in layers!).
After a hour or so (that passed very quickly for me) my friend asked, "So, what do you think? Is it any good?"
I showed him what I had "painted", and said, "This will change everything in the art world, forever!"
He said, "Wow, that good, eh? So I haven't wasted my money then?"
This was actually drawn in Clip Studio Paint, but what larks, eh Pip? "Detroit 442" is a song by Blondie. I watched it on YouTube and thought, "Digitise that!" (it's a part of my "Drawing A Day" personal challenge.
