Andy is a brilliantly creative, talkative photographer whose wonderful hospitality and conversation instantly put me at ease. His studio is an Aladdin's Cave of possibilities, and had we ended up with more time to shoot (after talking so much!) then we might've put more of the trinkets, costume items and sets to use. I adore the photographs that I received, and wouldn't hesitate to work with him again.

I had the pleasure of working with Andy over 2 days this week

Pre communication was wonderful we sorted looks out well in advance of the shoot

On arrival I was given a warm welcome of a lovely cup of tea and a we chatted and planned the two days before showing me his amazing studio and the beautiful sets he had built for each look. Andy's set building is amazing so well thought out with all the little details and amazing finishing touches

Andy very kindly put me up for the night in his wonderful apartment and was so thoughtful

I travelled up to shoot & stay with Andy for a couple of Days and had a brilliant time!

He is a fantastic & very professional photographer who builds up his scenes with such thought and creativity, it's astonishing to see it in action!

Turning his stunning ideas into reality with props from his massive collection, Andy has a way with lighting that is breathtaking, setting the scenes wonderfully - whilst using perfect angles and framing to create the dreamy & classic images he is known for :)

I cannot recommend this fabulous photographer enough, he will blow you away!

Andy kindly booked me for a 3 day period at his marvellous home/studio in Middlesbrough during my Northern and Scottish Tour. Each of the days was extremely enjoyable- Andy has such a way with the camera, manipulating sheets of material so that it reflects in a different manner and appears different on camera. His sets are fantastic, full of creativity and he puts his heart and soul into planning the shoot and sourcing new props for each set. He really is an artist in everyway and it comes across in his beautiful photos which are stunning.

I was ill on one of the days I stayed with Andy and he was extremely kind, making sure I was comfortable, that I had plenty of raw food stocked and even kindly taking me charity shop hunting (which is one of my favourite things to do!) A true gent in every way with a kind soul. Highly recommended to all creative artists- really looking forward to the resulting photos, I'm sure they will be beautiful. Thankyou for a lovely memorable few days, I learnt alot. Helen x

Last week I had the immense pleasure to work with Andy over a few days in his studio in Middlesbrough.

Andy was so kind to pick me up at the airport and letting me stay in his studio/apartment. He made my trip very easy and enjoyable, stress-free and he let me eat all the biscuits :)

Andy is an incredibly talented and creative photographer: I loved watching him create the sets for our pictures, giving importance to every little detail and listening to my ideas too.

I really had an amazing time and I'm sure we created something magical.

Communication was great prior to the shoot and his professionalism is impeccable.

I just can't wait to see the pictures!! And I just can't reccomend him enough!

Looking forward to our next venture Andy!

I worked with Andy in December 2014... He is polite professional and friendly... His communication prior to the shoot was great...his studio is spacious and full of lot's of props... He had some wonderful ideas with a good eye for detail... Setting out the back drop and scene faultlessly he was helpful with regards ideas to poses...The final images were brilliant

It was a real pleasure to find myself in Andy's studio - the last shoot before he hauls his enormous collection of props & paraphernalia elsewhere - and I'm very glad we squeezed a couple of days in to work on some ideas. I think our styles merge together beautifully, and was very pleased with what I saw on the back of the camera from the various sets we did. I was very impressed by his ingenuity and ability to create Da Vinci-esque seascapes (etc) with a few tricks (clever use of props; not photoshop!) and trial-and-errors, using his imagination to create a dreamworld in which I could pose from simple ingredients, which sparkled through the camera. His taste is so in keeping with mine, I think, that it was bound to be productive. Andy is massively chatty, talking throughout the time I spent with him, and very friendly and easy to get on with. I also stayed one night at his accommodation, and was very well looked after. I absolutely can recommend Andy to other models and furthermore I hope our paths will cross again to create more images together!

I had a magical shoot today with Andy at his fabulous studio. After a long (4 hour) drive with the traffic against me Andy greeted me with a lovely welcome and a nice Cuppa.

After a long chat about the shoot, our lives and things we like he showed me around his lovely studio which is a Aladdin's cave of props costumes and all things shiny I absolutely loved it!

Andy's set building skills are out of this world and he had created 2 completely different sets in the studio for us to use.

When we were ready to shoot Andy made constant small adjustments to the lights fabrics and paid attention to every single detail whilst guiding me into position until he had the right image.

Andy is fabulous and everything you could want in a photographer. He is kind and very welcoming but he knows exactly how to work the camera set lights and model to get that magical shot. I had a brilliant time so much I stayed an extra couple of hours longer than planned and have already decided I am going back again! Thanks Andy x

I had a very special shoot with Andy at his studio in Middlesbrough in which we created several different fictional characters using the absolutely amazing collection of props and outfits that Andy has in the studio. It was a rewarding process, designing looks, improvising, and developing ideas together. Andy has loads of creative energy and throughout the full day of shooting paid unwavering attention to the lighting and the set in order to get the perfect shot and ensure that our ideas came to fruition. It was a unique, productive experience and I can strongly encourage other models to work with Andy too.

Worked with Andy for the first time on a queen of hearts shoot in his studio , Hes professional, Friendly & has a great imagination & ideas for the shoot he makes the background of the images look magical, today was something completely different to what ive done before and i loved it! Had an extremely enjoyable shoot with Andy today at my home - working from Vintage fashion to tasteful ArtNude. Everything went extremely smoothly from initial contact to completion of the full shoot - pre shoot communication was great and Andy arrived very well prepared with a clear idea of what he wished to achieve. He is utterly professional yet highly personable with a very pleasant and chatty manner.

He is also clearly very passionate, knowledgeable and highly skilled in his craft. Having studied classics at Oxford, this background shows in his photographic work - as he references Greek mythology and classical Art to give a very distinctive look - concepts which are executed beautifully with often daring lighting and carefully considered composition often all fully done "in camera" with minimal post production. He is a perfectionist and will take the time to develop shots until they are absolutely "spot on". It is hardly surprising that he is able to exhibit his work at various galleries - as art. I was absolutely delighted with the shots Andy took today and cannot wait to see the final images.

I cannot recommend Andy highly enough and am very much looking forward to working with him again at his studio :). Thank-you Andy :) xx

I had a great shoot with Andy yesterday. He’s a very creative photographer and creates amazing sets within his studio, using the vast amount of props he holds within. Andy has great knowledge of using lighting and filters, to capture the desired look for a picture.

Andy is a friendly and chatty person, who makes you feel very comfortable in his presence. He also makes a great cup of tea and supplies nice biscuits :-)

I shot with Andy yesterday for a full day of mythology, nudes and story telling. He has the most brilliant imagination and can turn the smallest corners of the studio into completely different worlds. Look at his portfolio!

He is very interesting to talk to- giving me a tour of the revamped building and some insider knowledge about finding amazing props too!

We photographed a number of looks in the time we had and still managed some breaks with tea. Safety- wise, Andy was very courteous, mindful of my comfort and I would happily shoot together again. Thankyou again! :)

Had the pleasure of working with Andy on my last shoot. Very organised and informative prior to shoot and great to communicate with. A wonderfully creative gentleman with so many ideas. Vast collection of props, costumes and materials to create imaginative sets so barely no idea would be un-achievable. Andy was constructive and directive, have received some fabulous images already, excited to see the rest.

I have just arrived home from my first shoot with Andy today which took place at his studio which first of all I must add is brilliant to work from, warm, comfortable and with endless amounts of clothes, accessories and props to choose from, I could have easily spent the entire shoot admiring everything.

Todays shoot was arranged quite last minute and I found Andy easy and clear to communicate with, everything was arranged quickly, efficiently and hassle free.

As soon as I arrived at the shoot and met Andy I found him easy to chat to and felt totally comfortable and at ease. Andy is such a talented photographer, he knows his stuff and is so creative with lots of ideas.

I really enjoyed todays shoot and can't recommend Andy highly enough, thank you so much and hope to shoot again soon.

I have worked with Andy more than any other Tog, and have had great shots back (and plenty of cups of tea) every time. We have worked from my home, location, and in his brilliant studio.

He is extremely talented, and I love his style- I particularly like doing the art ones with him, with a particular preference of pre-raph.

I would highly recommend Andy to anyone.

I have worked with Andy twice now, Both times I have received fantastic Photos from him. He is a very talented photographer and extremely friendly, he even helped me with a lift on our last shoot. The Shoots are not rushed and he makes you feel very calm he is also well supplied with tea and biscuits ! Even though I don't drink tea there was bottles of water.

His sets and props are amazing and he is very talented in setting up a look that will suit the style of shoot your going for. He also likes taking time to check with you through the photos and show you what your doing and how you look I would highly recommend Andy and hope to work with him again.

I had a brilliant set of shoots with Andy recently and am due to be shooting with him again very soon. He really impressed me with his dedication, passion and inspirations in his work, he really puts so much thought and time into things to get them right... it's quite astounding to look at the final image on the camera, revealing his amazing ability to create magical sets and cool effects with clever lighting, great compositions and huge array of weird and wonderful props. He even captured one particular dress of mine in such a beautiful way, as if lit by moonlight and sparkling in the darkness, exactly how I'd hoped for and imagined it when I bought it :-)

Really enjoyable time spent producing very creative, rewarding work, Andy is professional, considerate, easy going and a pleasure to shoot with.
