Had my first shoot with GOF tonight, I booked her to model for us at my photography club, pre shoot communication was great, GOF turned up with all the outfits that I asked for plus several alternatives as well. GOF has an amazing look & certainly delivers, she moves freely but also just as happy to take direction. I can't wait to process my images.

I'd highly recommend GOF.

I'm already planning a second shoot.

Had my first shoot with GOF last week and thoroughly enjoyed working with her. We were creating a pirate inspired look and GOF was perfect for it. She arrived with no makeup and her natural beautiful hair, ready to be made up by myself. Throughout the application GOF sat perfectly, she was easy to get along with and had great skin to work on.

The actual shoot was just as amazing, as a dancer GOF knows how to hold herself and really brought the character to life with her poses.

Looking forward to working with GOF again and would highly recommend to anyone!

My third shoot with the wonderful Lydia. Lydia is a pleasure to work with - enthusiastic, fun , professional, organised and reliable and her portfolio is testament to her natural beauty as a model. First shoot, a walkabout shoot round Colchester with GOF, and a brilliant shoot it was. She arrived with bags (plural) of outfit choices around the themes we discussed, and equally bags of charm, creativity and character. Although we weren't doing a dance shoot, her dance training and experience shone though her poise and demeanour, resulting in some stunning images. We were on the same artistic wavelength from the outset, and were soon jointly spotting interesting textures and colours, lighting and backgrounds in the urban environment, and she was a true creative partner in crime. The fact that she is also intelligent, interesting and charming in equal measure made the whole late afternoon as enjoyable as it was productive. More than one person stopped in the street to comment on GOF's distinctive and beautiful flame red flowing locks, and I think I managed to capture some of the impact and beauty in the images we created together. Very highly recommended, and looking forward to our next shoot together. She truly is a Girl on Fire!

Had a wonderful shoot with GOF today and couldn't ask for any more. From the beginning communication was excellent and she seemed genuinely interested in the project.

She showed up on time and full of enthusiasm and ideas. The results were exactly what I was looking for and we have already discussed working together again.

Faithful Imagery

Perhaps a shorter reference than I am used to writing because I am currently neck deep in cold. My body aches, my eyes sting, my nose is streaming and my typically creative and eloquent brain is a little fuzzy. But, for the sake of honoring my word and keeping an overly beautiful and excitable flame-haired model happy, here it is.

The original plan for this shoot was very, very different. The plan was to create work based around Merida, the titular flame haired character from Disney's 'BRAVE' with incredibly talented make up artist, 'That Lipstick Life'. But that changed days before when the MUA messaged me with a change of plan. On showing me her thoughts I got excited about the thought of producing something very, very different and extremely effective.

On shoot day, GOF arrived early and we spent time catching up before the MUA arrived. We agreed to keep the idea a secret, so that GOF would only see the final results after the work was completed. True to form, GOF was a blast. She trusted the entire process and let us 'use' her as a blank canvas on which to out work an idea and the results were far greater than we had hoped for.

GOF is something entirely different. Perhaps I speak with this particular fondness because I have come to know her very well and have the absolute joy in calling her my friend and I know that beneath the beautiful and iconic red hair, striking green eyes and pale skin, lies a young woman with depth, warmth, empathy and spice.

In fact, I'll be so bold as to say that the more I get to know her, the more I realize that her external beauty (as truly captivating as it is) is the least interesting thing about her. I work with her because though I always delight in what we produce, I always revel in her company. She's witty, kind-hearted, generous and deeply inspiring.

The images we produced will come soon and represent a model willing to go the extra several thousand miles to create striking images.

She's a wonder and I cannot wait to photograph her again.

Keep on shining GOF. You truly, truly are dazzling. A thousand thank yous for making my portfolio brighter.

Another shoot with Girlonfire and a completely different kettle of fish to the last one, in a proper studio, with proper lighting and something very different style wise.

As before, Lydia excelled. She is punctual, enthusiastic, highly professional and an incredibly versatile model who makes a shoot a very enjoyable and productive experience. Couldn't reccomend her enough

This almost didn't happen- as we arrived on location it was raining, but as we discussed what to do, it stopped. It then stayed stopped for precisely the 2 hours of the shoot before starting again!

Anyway, although I'm yet to go through the shots (there's lots), I can easily recommend G.O.F.

Lydia is a pleasure to spend some time with, and with no complaints wandered around woodland barefoot (avoiding slugs and poop) before then spending time on a beach in wind so strong her eyes watered, all while effortlessly delivering some great poses and expressions.

I'm looking forward to going through the images; if you're thinking of working with her, then you should.

What a great shoot with Girl on fire. Good communication before the event and she arrived with a nice variety of outfits and props. She is very easy to work with, good fun and enthusiastic. A very versatile model, as well as having a great look, with her dance we were able to explore a range of ideas. Girl on Fire is an excellent model and a lovely lady. Look forward to working with her again at sometime. Highly recommended.

This was my first shoot with GOF, and I had my usual pre-shoot nerves, but within moments I felt totally at ease with Lydia. This shoot had been on the back burner for maybe 6 weeks, but in that time pre-shoot comms were first class and ideas kept building, so when it came to the day we were all geared up and ready to go.

Lydia put an amazing amount of time and effort into preparing outfits, hair and make up, it was a 1960s theme, and the dresses she brought were amazing and made the theme work perfectly.

During the shoot I quickly gelled with Lydia, she is constantly in tune with the shoot.. spotting opportunities, coming up with ideas, and super motivated. I particularly enjoyed the communication with Lydia while shooting, even a glance or nod or hand gesture when working at a distance we both understood, and there were many times I was about to suggest something that might help the shot.. I'd look up and Lydia had already thought of it

and was getting ready to pose. The whole day just flowed.

One of our main locations was an Aircraft museum, Lydia quickly adapted to the location, which made the job of shooting there much easier, but she was also interested about the place and the exhibits she was posing with, and I really feel this level of involvement comes through in the final results.

And I must say, so many of the images were stunning thanks to Lydia.

To sum up my shoot with GOF, it was a highly enjoyable experience, and what an amazing way to spend a day practicing photography! :)

The shoot has been in planning for a while and as always Girl on Fire had exceptional communication skills and by the time the day cam around we had a firm shoot plan and a very clear idea of the shoot outcomes. She turned up on time, prepared, and with everything we had agreed and more. She has the ability to get in the mind of the photographer and enhance the ideas taking the outcomes to a completely different level. What a mind she has, pure skill in posing, wonderfully intelligent, great conversationalist, ultimate professional, respectful and kind, and an all round artist. She oozes enthusiasm and nothing is too much trouble. We had an 8 hour session that was gone in the blink of an eye.

What a day I have had!!! Thanks are not enough for the adventure today!

Recommend - hell yes with the highest amount of recommending available, if you have not yet had the experience then book in as soon as you can!

On a very hot day I had the privilege of working with Lydia on my first outdoor shoot for a long time. She totally lived up to my expectations and her portfolio name. Her enthusiasm knows no bounds and whilst remaining totally professional Lydia is very friendly and easy going and her communication from pre-shoot until the actual day was outstanding. Apart from her amazing personality and beauty she is such a natural in front of the camera and is able to pose so easily and freely and is also so full of ideas to make a shoot successful. This was so useful to me as a beginner but at the same time has full respect of what a photographer wants. One amazing attribute is that she also goes way and beyond in researching a proposed shoot so her contribution to success is immense. I would certainly recommend Lydia and I hope that I get an opportunity to work with her again on some specific projects in the future. Thank you Lydia for your help and for building my confidence in model photography and all the best for your successful career which I know is assured.

Lydia was very punctual and arrived before the agreed-upon time. The pre-shoot communications were excellent and clear. She was very professional and enthusiastic. She poses with ease and takes directions well. She also came prepared with outfits. I would definitely recommend her.

Lydia joined us for an event at Claymills Victorian Pumping Station in Burton on Trent organised by Timeline Events. Lydia replaced another model who could not join us due to changes in travel restrictions and quarantine etc. This was also a re-arranged event due to Covid with a change of venue and a potential change of date all attempting to derail the pre-shoot comms. Lydia communicated professionally and promptly pre-shoot and was very patient and understanding.

On the day she arrived in good time with a range of super outfits, she looked amazing, and posed easily and took direction very well. She worked really hard for us throughout, and worked well with a second model as a pair. She contributed a great number of really cool ideas to the shoot as well.

I would thoroughly recommend Lydia to anyone in any situation, she is a very versatile and highly skilled model who will give you great results.

I worked on a shoot today with Lydia as we were both modelling for an event workshop in Derby.

She was enthusiastic, so friendly and easy to work with. A really lovely girl. I can’t believe she’s only been modelling a few months.

She took direction well, and knew exactly how to pose and get the shots the photographers were after. It was easy doing duo shots with her also as we worked together as a team.

It was a breath of fresh air to work with a fellow model that was so down to earth and not stuck up.

You won’t be disappointed if you book Lydia and her hair is amazing!!!! Xx

I was a photographer in a group shoot arranged by Time Line Events at Claymills Victorian Pumping Station Burton on Trent. There were two models but I spent the whole day with Girl on Fire as I found her very easy to get on with, completely professional throughout and she was an total inspiration!

She helped and contributed with shoot ideas, poses, costumes and how to get the best from her in the amazing environment we were shooting in. A natural stunning model who I would fully recommend and a model I would definitely like to work with again in the future. Thank you sincerely - Ian

My second shoot with Lydia and it just as good as the first. Lydia arrived on time well prepared with a range of outfits.

Lydia is very profession but also fun and easy to work with.

After a fabulous first shoot at Two Wei Location House it was a no brainer to get this second shoot quickly arranged

On this occasion Lydia came up to mine,once again armed with way more outfits than we could get through in the time.

The weather was not exactly with us,but we worked our way through a number of sets both inside and outside in the garden....dodging the rain along the way.

Had a little trip to the local woods to make use of two fabulous dresses....the canopy of the trees helping with the rain.

Once again....a great pleasure to work with Lydia,we get on so well together....the shoots are always productive,relaxed and lots of fun and Lydia is totally focused on achieving the best results.

If you have not worked with Lydia before......have no hessitation....she is an excellent model who will give you great results and she comes with my highest recomendation.

We are already planning a trip back to Two Wei later this year.

My second shoot with the lovely Girlonfire and it was just as great as the first one :). Lydia is a delight to shoot. Full of enthusiasm, professional and very easy to work with both pre-shoot and on the day. Lydia works really hard to bag the shots we have discussed beforehand taking her modelling seriously but is also happy to have fun in the process.

Lydia's striking looks are obvious from her portfolio and her dance skills allow her to strike some exquisite, elegant poses. I was delighted with the images from this latest duo dance shoot and I am so excited that we already have another shoot in the diary and once again Lydia is so engaged in the planning. :) :) :)

So very definitely recommended by me - my shoots with Lydia have already created some of my favourite images.

I had a duo shoot with this fabulous model known as Girl On Fire and I must say that she definitely lives up to her name because she is so lit!🔥🔥🔥

We met a couple of hours beforehand as an ice-breaker and my nerves went away almost instantly upon meeting her - she is warm, welcoming, easy to talk to, super easy going, and incredible with coming up with ideas. We practiced some moves just before the shoot just so we can assess each other on what we can pull off, and I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to do all the lifts and balancing for our acro-yoga work!

The shoot turned out even more amazing than expected, and I loved how she kept checking up on me after each pose or lift to see if I was okay. :) You can tell she is a person who cares!

There is a good chance we will be working again in the future but I just want to take this opportunity to say thank you for working with me on this one and I would absolutely recommend anyone to work with her if you want amazing results! :)
