Gary is always fantastic to work with and I had a blast during a recent location (and then flour) shoot. His pre shoot communications were fabulous and the shoot was organised in a few messages. He was super helpful with directions and provided a great mood board ahead of time to really help with the packing process.

During the shoot itself, he was polite, professional and friendly and we jumped straight into the shoot and worked together to get great shots. Gary has such amazing enthusiasm for photography and took me to some beautiful ruins where we shot some stunning tasteful nudes in the landscape. He was mindful of the cold as well so when we shot in the stream nearby it was kept brief to avoid the cold.

Gary was, as usual, respectful of me at all times and I felt very comfortable working with him as we made our way around the location. He's very confident with his lighting, happily adjusting as and when needed and has a great eye for photography which is clear to see in his stunning images. We worked on location for a while before heading off for a carvery and then on to a flour shoot at PGD. Neither of us had done a flour shoot before but Gary had provided a wonderful mood board so I was able to follow along with some ideas. Soon enough we were in the swing and flour was flying everywhere and Gary worked hard to capture each incredible shot.

The back of camera shots looked epic and I just know the edits will be phenomenal.

I'd happily recommend Gary and look forward to shooting with him again.

I had the pleasure of working with Gary during a group shoot day hosted by myself and Ivory Flame at Basford Hurst Cottage the other day.

I found Gary to be very respectful, easy-going, open to bouncing ideas between each other and enjoyable company to boot.

It was my first time meeting Gary but I felt very comfortable with him and would be very happy to work with Gary again in future when I'm able to get back to the UK.

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Gary came back to Basford Hurst Cottage last week for two fantastic shoots!! The first being a duo shoot with Angel Black and Nicole Rayner, and the second a shoot with Angel Black on her sold out studio day weekend.

It is always a pleasure to see Gary here at Basford Hurst Cottage. He is so easy to get along with and is always respectful of our location and the models he is shooting with. Gary is always open to ideas suggested by his models and is clearly a very passionate photographer.

We would of course highly reccomend Gary and look forward to seeing him again soon!! Thank you so much Gary!!!

Gary is a fabulous photographer to work with for many reasons, one of which is his creativity. His pre shoot communications are always excellent and he explains his vision clearly as well as outfit suggestions which are always super helpful.

Pair his amazing communication ability with his creativity and you're onto a winner. When he contacted me to arrange a duo shoot with Nicole Rayner at Basford Hurst Cottage, I was overjoyed. Gary has this wonderful ability to get along with anyone and the three of us gelled together instantly, wandering around and capturing gorgeous shots everywhere. He's very open to ideas and listened whenever Nicole and I had any ideas but is equally happy to make decisions. We had a couple of technical hiccups but managed to work through them together and ended up with so many wonderful shots!

We also had a 1 to 1 shoot at Basford the following day and just like the day before he was an absolute superstar to work with.

We captured some fabulous images and worked seamlessly together to get them. He was, as usual, polite, professional and super easy to chat to.

The images looked epic and I look forward to seeing his edits! 100% recommended.

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

We were so grateful to have the pleasure of Gary's company this week not once, but twice!! - The first time was an afternoon shoot with Ell Mae and the second time on a studio day event with Ayla Rose!!

All pre comms with Gary were great and he makes everything very easy to organise! On both occasions he arrived on time with loads of ideas for the shoots. We had a good catch up over a cuppa and Gary worked incredibly hard with both models to produce many stunning images!!

Gary is friendly, polite and great fun to talk to. We would highly reccomend him and look forward to seeing him again at Basford soon!! Thank you Gary!!

Gary is by far one of my favourite people to create with - he's so enthusiastic about photography and he's such a big supporter of every aspect of my modelling. He recently booked onto my Bridal Event at The Boardroom and I'm so glad he did because the shots were sensational!

As always, his pre shoot communications are top notch, providing me with some outfits he'd also like me to bring if there was time left over. He shared the time slot with another photographer and was a real team player, making sure they both had equal shoot time. Gary is polite and professional and really can get along with anyone, which I think is such an important attribute of a photographer.

I'd definitely recommend working with Gary - you wont be disappointed. He's polite and professional and conversation never stopped flowing. I always have such a blast and we capture some gorgeous images along the way.

Absolutely 1000% you should work with him if the chance arises!

Gary is truly one of my favourite people to work with, it's a true meeting of collaboration to get the very best images. During our most recent shoot we were back at Basford Hurst Cottage, and launched straight into the shoot after a cup of tea!

His pre shoot communications are genuinely fantastic and always very detailed - this meant I already knew our rough plan of action before I even arrived. We started outside in the stunning grounds, and Gary was considerate of the temperature with me being in the stream. We shot a series of sets outside before moving inside and doing some more around the stunning venue.

Gary is polite and professional but in all honesty we're such good friends by now that I'd expect nothing less ;) We get along so well and he's so supportive both as a photographer and as a friend.

He's a joy to work with and really just wants to get the very best images he can.

I'd highly recommend Gary and will absolutely be working with him again - in fact in a few weeks! ;)

Another lovely shoot with Gary, this time at the Airbnb I had hired on my Midlands tour!

Gary is such a kind, down to earth person to work with. He is very relaxed and the shoot will be a good mix of shooting and then reviewing/picking favourite images and having a natter/catch up :)

We got some fab images as always (must get round to sharing my back of cameras haha!) and I really enjoyed our shoot!

After what undoubtedly has been a small lifetime I finally got to shoot with Gary again 😊 absolutely worth the wait and I was super impressed at how well organised he was with planning some background sets for us to shoot some fine art imagery. Very had put the feelers out to the studio for a set to be built for our slot. As always, Gary was a joy to work with and it was so lovely to catch up and work together once again. I can’t wait to see what he captured, as the back of camera shots were simply amazing 🤩

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Gary came back to Basford this week to shoot with the beautiful Ivory Flame.

I don't even know where to start anymore.. we just click so well! Gary is a pure delight to be around, he's polite and professional, as well as friendly and a great conversationalist. I love working with him, he's got such a great eye for photography, and is always so happy to go with the flow and adapt as we go.

His pre shoot communications are exceptional, he's very quick to reply and the responses always answer any questions you may ask.

The back of camera shots were fantastic and by the time I arrived home a day later, I had some phenomenal images in my inbox!!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Gary came to shoot with Angel Black as part of her 2 day studio event here at Basford.

This was the second time Gary had come to Basford and I very much hope there is a third!!

Gary is a joy to be around. He turned up well prepared for the shoot and had so many ideas he wanted to work through. Gary was very respectful of Angel throughout the shoot. He also looked after our location well and made sure to leave the place tidy after he had finished.
