This was the second time that I have worked with Fern this year , once earlier in Southport and this time high up in the mountain at the disused Llanberis slate mine.On the hottest ever day recorded in the UK she climbed over 2000ft up a trail that even a mountain goat would have thought twice about then she did a 6 hour group shoot with 5 Photographers.

Throughout the whole day Fern was a real trouper pleasant, funny, enthusiastic and hardly stopping to draw breath. Sufficient to say that she made sure everybody got some fantastic images.

I really hope that I get chance to work with her again soon and of course she comes very highly recommended by me.

Thank you Fern it was a day I will remember for a long time.

Fern arrived on time and was very professional, with great comms. I was more than happy to pay a deposit in advance due the hugely positive track record of reviews she has earned on here, she is very trustworthy! She has a wealth of experience when it comes to modelling and it shows. Never short on pose ideas and Fern suprised me with some ideas too, which was great as it expanded my horizons and I learned from her. Fern is very pleasant and easy to get on with, would highly recommend and thank you so much for a great shoot!

My last minute trip to Manchester coincided with a last minute casting by Fern. We were quickly able to organise a shoot at her flat. She was easy to work with and her flat provided plenty of opportunity. Really made my long trip more worthwhile.

She was open to my shoot concept and add additional props and material to enhance what I was trying to aim for. If and when I need someone I can rely on; who will provide that extra level of quality and skill, Fern is usually top of that list.

She has come to my aid on previous occasions when I wanted to try something of substance and today was no different.

She's so versatile, able to produce variable posing techniques suited to fashion and high end editorial pictorials, as well as the 'classic' glamour poses. Added to that, her versatility extended to video work and all boxes were ticked today and I'm beyond grateful she was available, (such is her demand right now!) and happy to work on this.

Recommended? Without a doubt!

Shot with Fern on location yesterday for the first time.

Pre-shoot communication was excellent. I shared my concept and mood board in advance, which we used to bounce around a few ideas, including make up styles for the shoot.

On the day of the shoot Fern was professional and fully engaged. She has some fantastic poses, took direction well, also coming up with ideas on location for alternative spots to shoot. She also wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty to get a good shot. I learnt a lot from her on the day, especially with posing and using the Neo light which translated into some really good shots.

Fern also does her own makeup and hair, which was spot on and really complimented the location.

Totally down to earth and fun to work with, which made for a very enjoyable experience.

I highly recommend Fern and look forward to working with her again.

I had great fun shooting with Fern. Unfortately the weather was awful which limited what We could do but I still got some great images. Fern is very talented and she really got into the theme of the shoot and brought the character to life. Communication punctuality was spot on and she is very professional while still being totally down to earth, freindly and really fun to work with. Her make up skills are also excellent. I am definately hoping to work with her again and highly recommend her.

What an excellent and enjoyable experience from start to finish.

In pre-shoot comms Fern was responsive, helpful and friendly. It was an easy shoot to arrange, and I knew before I set off that it would be a good one. And it was!

Fern's home studio is brilliant, with proper paper backgrounds, lighting equipment and plenty of tea. Fern had prepared the outfits we had discussed and was ready to shoot with her hair and makeup done to a high standard. She posed freely and was also happy to take directions. Her poses were beautiful and elegant, and I really look forward to get them onto the computer and start the editing process. In between sets Fern was chatty and friendly. And as the icing on the cake: She plays jazz and blues as background music, wow!

All in all a brilliant shoot, and I hope to work with Fern again.

The Barn Studio

It was great fun collaborating with Fern to offer a duo model studio day at the Barn Studio. Fern made all the planning arrangements and communication leading up to the event very easy. As for modelling, Fern is super-talented and a lovely person to be around. Thank you Fern for helping to make the day go so well. I really can't wait to see you back at The Barn Studio for future shoots.

Fern first contacted me to thank me for loving some of her images, and would like to work with me someday. Which was fortunate because I wanted to work with her too! So when I saw she and Lila were doing a duo shoot I took the opportunity. We had a lot of pre shoot communication and I knew she was a friendly person before I met her.

This was my first duo shoot at The Barn Studio and both Fern and Lila made it easy to work with them. We had 4 hours booked but the time still flew by.

I would certainly work with Fern and Lila again, both as a duo and individually.

I'd definitely recommend Fern. This was our second shoot and she was patient while I was planning, with multiple delays in shipping one of the props that we required. Fern got even more engaged in the planning in the last week before the shoot as we were looking for a suitable location and as we finessed the style and look of the shoot. On the day, she took to the role and theme so easily. Completely natural. Didn't require direction, but was happy to take it when I wanted to take advantage of the changing light around us. It was a completely enjoyable shoot after months of planning.

Thirteen is an unlucky number for some, but this my thirteenth time shooting with Fern and I can honestly say I feel lucky to shoot with such an amazing person each time we work together. Her pre-communication was first class as always and she turned up ready to go with outfits that fitted the themes of the shoot to perfection. The way that Fern helps both myself and the other models during my shoots shows what a kind, supportive person she is. It is these qualities (and many more) that make her such fun to work with and makes the whole shooting process so easy. It's clear to anyone that sees Fern's work that she is a natural in front of the camera and she always strives to help you fashion the best possible images. She really is a star and I'd can't recommend her highly enough to any photographer or studio out there :)

I recently had a great second shoot with Fern at Studio 4. We combined both indoor and outdoor themes whilst shooting fashion and portraiture. This was my first shoot with Fern, and I would absolutely shoot with her again!

We shot a combination of styles at my home and the time just flew. Fern has a lovely personality, is really easy to chat to and is a wonderful model. She had brought loads of outfits and had styled her hair and make up exactly as asked. I had asked her to bring a hat and she even went to the trouble of providing a link to an image of similar hat before the shoot.

Pre-shoot communications were excellent and everything was arranged really easily. Fern poses effortlessly, and I'm delighted with the images.

I would definitely recommend Fern and would love to work with her again.

Had a fabulous first shoot with Fern.

Fern is an absolutely lovely person, very friendly and chatty and we got on great right from the start.

She poses elegantly and fluidly without direction and worked very hard to make every image a success. She also made many suggestions for improvements and variations which added immensely to the shoot.

It was a most enjoyable and fun shoot and we got through an amazing amount and obtained some fantastic images.

Another remote session with Fern, and no surprise, Fern was brilliant as always. This shoot required Fern to work with a couple of potentially dangerous props and she handled the challenging assignment with aplomb. There appears to be no limits to Fern's ability. Perhaps this is the meaning of her small wrist tattoo?

If you haven't worked with Fern yet, I strongly recommend that you do. She's beyond exceptional. Anyone who has worked with Fern tends to re book her immediately, and like me, look forward to the next shoot.
