Open minded, kind, easy to get along with, playful and funny, also able to blend with any type of personality due to his vast experience as a photographer, all of this make me recommend him wholeheartedly !

He's also receptive and caring when working with a model.

Glad my intuition didn't fail me about our collaboration, and everything went smoothly!

What to say about Colin. Such a great guy- his studio is great, worked there twice now and shot with him for the first time today. He has given me a lift to and from the station each time to save me carrying my case, nothing is too much trouble. Lovely guy really friendly, good pre comms before the shoot and whilst shooting he had lots of great ideas and suggestions. Back of the camera shots looked ace, can’t wait to see the final results and I know we’ll be seeing a lot more of each other!

Where to start?

Colin is one of the funniest, laid back and easy going people I've come across. I've never laughed so much for hours on end, it felt as though I'd known him forever and conversation flowed so naturally.

I love both the edited and unedited images I've seen so far and I'm looking forward to catching up with him again as soon as restrictions allow!

Colin is a lovely gentleman. Full of character, respect and charm. I was invited to his awesome Chester-based studio for a club night and was honored and delighted when Colin joined in too. I genuinely cannot fault my evening with Mr Grist and will be staying in touch re future work. Oh and Having had a sneaky peek at the pics, I am already excited to share :)

This was actually the second time I've worked with Colin and I couldn't recommend him highly enough.

Not only is he professional and brilliant at what he does, but easy to get on with and totally chilled.

The studio is well equipped and it's easy to get creative together, all the photos we've done so far have been brilliant and I have no doubt in my mind that there are many more to come. Can't wait.

I had my first shoot with Colin yesterday.

I've become quite a regular now at pathway studios, so Colin is used to seeing my face! It was a great shoot, had loads of fun!

I suggested that I wanted to do some yoga poses, I also brought in a latex jumpsuit and some cyberpunk neon clothes. I was able to get quite expressive towards the end!

Colin is great to work with, and id like to do so again! He's incredibly friendly, bubbly and approachable, as well as being professional!

I love coming on tour to pathways studio. It one of my favorite places to go now and i just love working there. Colin always puts me up when i am in the area as well which i totally appreciate. Always makes me feel safe and welcome. We got to do a little shoot of our own this time. We where shooting some cool fashion in the studio and i loved the images. I would recommend for sure and i cant wait until my next visit.

I CAN NOT believe it's been SEVEN YEARS since I've been at your studio! Time FLIES!!!

But nothing had changed apart from the furniture and layout. I was me at the door, made endless cups of tea, snacks were provided, the studio was WONDERFULLY WARM :D and we actually shot together this time!

You're down to earth, chatty, friendly, professional, talented, the list goes on! I'd work with you again without hesitation :D

I had my second shoot with Colin at Pathway Studios when I was visiting for my studio day. I love working with Colin and being creative. He really understands how I like to just try stuff out and experiment no matter how whacky they are.

We had a fantastic two hours working through different ideas he had. Throughout the shoot we chatted and worked well together to get the images we were after.

Last night I had a super creative and fun shoot with wonderful Colin. He offered me overnight stay in his studio between my shoot on Friday evening and studio day on Saturday.
